Shaula chuckles, and begins to walk off. Saeid sighs, and follows. "What on earth am I getting myself into?" Saeid asks.
"A mountian of shit, I'm assuming." Shaula says. Saeid lets out a long groan, much to Shaula happiness.

"Done." The Governor says, stretching. Among the workers making the subway, the guardsman who challenged the captain is among them...seeming rather..out of it. He was also bald, with some stitches on his head.

"You taggin along?" Saeid asks Kishin, and Shaula sorta glaces at him as they walk, hands in her pockets....moving something around.

"Hey shaula." Asura calls out "whatcha got there?"

"Some old trinkets....want a keychain?" She asks, pulling out a key chain with what looks like a scorpion stinger on it. She grins a little. Saeid eyes it, and focuses. "...It's poisoned."
Shaula freezes. "...How did you...." She starts, confused.
"I can smell it...it's oddly sweet." He says, and she blinks. "Are you part blood hound?" She asks, grinning a caught criminal grin.

"thank you. i'll direct some fuel traders towards you for some nice prices" the high general replies evenly, said traders arriving shortly after the construction of the subway while the high general politely ignores the man's oddities. After a good three years, the sergals are space fairing and have regained most of the technology that been lost from their ancients as well as quite a few new technologies gained from their experiments with mana, leaving them able to teleport using gates rather than using trams or the subway, leaving them in relative disrepair aside from some living quarters and extra blocks as well as mana based laser weaponry, their military might being multiplied by factors in the hundreds

"They were my way of destroying the academy. My poison robs those who are injected with it of their wills, and places them under my control. In exchange, they gain massive physical improvements....One student I poisoned was able to combat two older students. A scythe, and a girl with long blond pony tails...." She says, chuckling.
"..Asura. Doesn't that girl I saw from the door of your house once..doesn't she have long blond pony tails?" Saeid asks.

"Yes she-" asura looks at shaula "tell me you have an antidote..."

"No...I remember the look on her face when I made one of her fellows slit their own throats...." Shaula says, and she then cries when Saeid's blade crushes her shoulder blade, not cleaving the arm off, oddly, but causing it to be totally dislocated. Saeid's blade slowly pulls back, tearing the skin off slowly.
"......" Saeid just seems unbelievably pissed off, before pulling his blade back, and like a bat, using it to knock her into the distance.

On the 3rd anniversary of the city's completion, a huge celebration is held. The fireworks, and the light show can be seen across the globe. Clones line the street, as the Governor parades around someone who is nearly ten feet tall, wearing a strange suit of armor. This knight does not speak, only nods, and looks around waving. To the Sergals there, he would seem strange as they could tell the metal used would be to heavy for most normal people, leading to the conclusion of they must be extremely strong. The high generals are invited to the event, being guests of honor.

The high generals mostly don't attend aside from a large female that dwarfs the high general in charge of civil services and commerce, the female seeming to be completely mute as she responds only in nods and the occasional grunt. "hello governor, nice to see you" the high general says evenly as he sits with the governor at the head table, the female next to him eating a whole one of the boar-like creatures fresh from the kitchens

The knight stands beside the table, being as tall as the female general. He just stares at her, not speaking.
"Hello my friends, this, my rather tall friend here, is Tide Bringer. He is the weapon I was speaking about, three years ago....His arrival is most fortunate, as it coensides with our annual celebration of the founding of our city, and the alliance between our empires." The Governor says. Tide nods, his lion head shaped helm disguising the form of his head. In fact, his armor disguises nearly perfectly the shape of his body, other than the fact he has five fingers on each hand, and was humanoid.
