[OOC] Rosario X Vampire - The First Year

The (un)expected message came in the mail to all those whom that had applied or been selected at random by the headmaster of the school. From all over the world the message was sent out to the newly prospected students.It was a simple note with a green border on it with well hand written welcome and greeting from the head master of the school. The letters all had this one thing in common
"Welcome to Yokai Academy ____ You've been accepted into a prestigious school...."

There were small changes from person to person or rather monster to monster. But for the most part each one had it's own form of greeting and each written personally by the head master Mitsuhide Asakura. The school was located in Japan and it welcomed almost any sort of monster. That was with the acception of the monsters of undead origin and or primarily evil. How the person got there was up to said person but regardless all were welcome to find their own way. However there were specific points that a bus driver was to pick up the kids. The school has had one simple purpose since it's conception so many ears ago: To turn these literal monsters into people who can live among humans and not fear them to give monsters a chance at a normal life in this urbanized world. While some monsters have done well in integrating into society, others have not done so well by any stretch of the imagination. Funded by top ranking monsters and noble families the school is designed to welcome any sort of people who are willing to try. Some come for the education, while others come to make new friends and or simply enjoy the life among other monsters. As mentioned before however Humans and undead are not welcome at the academy unless it was a special occasion which is increasingly rare. The former due to fear of the secret lives of the children being sent there leaking out and causing panic along with the chance that 'monster hunters' and or packs of monsters will attack them. The latter due to the headmaster's disdain for all things undead and they are often looped along with the evil creatures that inhabit the Earth. Regardless of how it happened you are being brought to this academy on this fateful day on which you're life will change....be it good or bad.

Rules of the Roleplay:
1. S Rank monsters are allowed for those who are unsure of the rankings of some monsters see the Rosario X Vampire wiki. However since my character will be in the S Rank Werewolf slot (I will allow one more if required) please keep in mind that not everyone will be allowed an S Rank due to their extensive power.

2. Our characters will be in their teen years unless your monster ages differently.
3. You can remove some traits from your monster if desired in order to allow your character to roleplay as them without trying to murder everyone in the room
4. You can't be a human (and by extension a ghoul) the closest thing to a human is a mage. The undead are un-allowed as well due to the head master's personal preferences in story AND because with all due respect while undead aren't exceeding powerful they are well undead and can pretty much survive almost anything short of being ripped literally limb from limp. They are low in power but just complicate any small amount of battles we will be having
5. While we do have monster powers and forms we will be mostly staying in human form for the roleplay for those unaware most monsters in this universe can morph into a humanoid form or are a humanoid for most of the time like Werewolves, vampires, and succubi/Inccubi.
6. This will not have a lot of combat and will be mostly a slice of life type of roleplay but we will get to use our powers but that doesn't mean that I won't be judging monster abilities any different than if this were a combat oriented roleplay.
7. Your character can be from anywhere but at the end of the day they all will be meeting in a small town outside somewhere in the suburbs of Japan meaning your character should have a means of going there meaning poor character probably won't be able to attend.
8: The most important thing I can say is this: some monsters already have canon versions of themselves in which canon takes precedent over real life versions until said so otherwise for example water is a vampire's kryptonite unless treated with certain herbs first.
9. GM's word is the final say on any matters regarding the roleplay

In Game Rules of the Yokai Academy - (WIP)
1. No Human is allowed to see the academy. Failure to comply to this rule involves immediately 'disciplinary action'
2. Combat is not allowed on school grounds. Any fighting should be taken into the forest or outside of the school
3. No turning other students into mind controlled servants
4. The teachers and the security club have the authority to deal as they please assuming it is not to harm a student unless on the orders of the principle
5. Respect other students privacy
6. While not strictly enforced the head master insists that you stay in human form.

History: Born as a werewolf in the human world like many other creatures he was taken care of and raised by his own kind in Boston in the United States of America. His childhood was relatively normal compared to most people except for the fact that his parents had some wolf like qualities in their parenting which made him feel awkward even at a young age. He was raised among humans but his interactions with them were strained as his parents didn't like to go socialize and the only interactions he had were his school mates and friends. However many people did find him oddly talented in gymnastics and absurdly strong physically whenever he displayed his talents. He was taught at a young age (around eight) by his parents on how to fight with his hands and feet as well as hunt and using his strong hearing, sight, and smell to his advantage. But when at school he often made people feel awkward when he knew when they were talking about him or about how much he knew. Despite this he was never one to give into peer pressure even in grade school.

His early childhood was good and he had many friends human or not but he did his best to be as friendly as possible. He often visited his uncles in the neighboring towns and even went to Japan on summer vacations at times to visit one of his uncles and aunts because he was so fond of them. Joshua had trouble learning and speaking in Japanese however and only barely learned to speak it fluently if not with difficulty. Wanting to be accepted however was difficult since his parents forbid him from making to many friends as he got older due to their actual nature and none of them slept over his house nor was he allowed to go over theirs for the nights especially during a full moon. Joshua himself loved to go out on nights and climb and do things when the full moon came out because it made him feel alive and powerful. As he got older he became more and more of an outcast due to his constant denials of girlfriends whom were many due to his physical strength and his easy going attitude and it didn't help that he refused to go out at night with his friends. However he still was a nice person and many people liked his confidence and kindness even if they were not to close to him. He always loved to run and hunt for things as a werewolf which were only when his dad and uncles took him hunting out in the mountains but Joshua did understood how rare those events were and why he wasn't allowed to be a werewolf at most times. He however did grow prejudice against lizard men and women as he grew older as they often hassled his father and mother and tried to bully him in high school.

He exceeded well in the gym, English, and history however he hated science and math and still does now with a great passion. He received a note of recognition as a student of Yokai Academy and his parents approved of him 'leaving the pack' for the time being in order to further himself and learn more about himself as a person. He left America and went to Japan despite feeling homesick he is excited to start his new life. He stayed with his uncle and his aunt for a couple of weeks in order to adjust to Japanese culture and ways of doing things before the events of the roleplay.

Personality: Joshua is kind and caring to other people and is respecting of others privacy even if he does like to peep at people occasionally. He is heavily sarcastic and loves to joke and screw around with people for fun but not to prankster levels. His favorite form of sarcasm is puns be them good or bad. He often smiles as a way to show that he isn't a person who isn't friendly. He loves adventures and is often a very curious person at heart. He doesn't enjoy talking about relationships and is embarrassed he never had a serious girlfriend. He enjoys reading about history and loves to work out in gym. His main goals in life is to become a strong werewolf and to become a pack leader of his own wolf pack. He likes a good fight but does not proactively seek out trouble and danger but despises bullies and people who pick on others with great passion. He hates lizardmen because when his family was always fighting with a family of them next door. He is defensive around his friends and likes hanging out with them. He likes meeting new people but doesn't actively go and talk to people he doesn't know unless he really feels like it. He is known for being extremely vain when it comes to his fighting skills believing he can become as strong as even a shinso vampire one day.

Habits and quirks: He enjoys fighting greatly and when he does get into a fight he hits his hands together. He often eats beef jerky which was his favorite snack food when he was a kid.

Power(s):
Very strong physically and as well as being very fast and agile due to being a werewolf
Sharp Claws and nails
Very good hearing and smell
Quick healing - Combat healing is negligible.
Powers strengthened during a full moon.

Weaknesses:

Silver and Wolfsbane.

Injuries caused by Silver weapons take longer to heal on a werewolf than that would on a human. Please keep this in mind if you are playing a werewolf.

Wolfsbane is a terrible plant that is advised all Werewolves must stay away from.

If near it he will be like superman standing in front of kryptinite. Ingestion is fatal within minutes. There is no treatment.

Description: One of the rare Yoko born with black fur and fire instead of red, Kage is a very intimidating figure. In human form, he stands at an imposing 6' 2", and is well-built, though not bulky, with lean muscle. His movements carry the sleek grace of an apex predator, and his features reflect the inner fox, being somewhat sharper than normal. His incisors tend to be longer than standard, especially when he grins. His hair is fairly long, down to the shoulderblades, and his dark green eyes shimmer with an inner fire.

Eventual 9-tail Battle Form - around eight feet tall in pictured stance and correspondingly wide.

Smaller, about six foot six inches, and not quite as impressive- or good-looking as this, and with only five tails.

Personality: Well-mannered, generally rather amiable, and, when with friends, sometimes even playful; however, when he gets angry, he can become truly vicious, especially if those he considers friends are threatened. His trust is hard to earn, and once broken, is lost forever, but if you do have it, he will prove a loyal and worthwhile friend. He is surprisingly tolerant towards water and ice youkai, given the diametric opposition of their elements, but will retaliate in full force to any prejudice they might apply to him due to his fiery nature. This is a general rule about him - if something happens, he'll come right back just as hard. The exception to his general courtesy is humans (see below.)

He enjoys combat a surprising amount, and will usually, once he's got to know someone, challenge them to a sparring match if he considers them strong enough to be a worthy challenge.

Quirks & Habits: Heats his drinks to boiling point before consuming them, and his food likewise. Otherwise, a fairly stable individual.

Skills:
Martial Artist Kage has trained for years in several martial arts, and is adept in close combat, even using his tails as direct weapons. He tends to imbue his strikes with concentrated Kitsunebi, lending them a lot of power.
Samurai Much like his unarmed training, Kage has spent a long time practicing his swordwork, and is highly skilled with a katana.
Tracker Kage is an adept tracker, able to follow almost anything for extended periods of time over nearly any terrain, though cities are generally a lost cause when tracking all but the most powerful of youkai.

Powers:
Kitsunebi Foxfire, the quintessential ability of all Yoko. Unlike most, however, Kage's fire is black. This has little effect on its actual power, though he has developed his tails perhaps a little faster than average. He has trained extensively with this ability. Two of his favourite techniques are the fire lance, a highly compressed bolt of what would be white-hot fire if it wasn't black, and the flame lash, a long whip of twisted fire. He has also developed flight using the lifting properties of hot air and the inherent mystical properties of fire to make himself lighter.
Shapechange Kitsune have three distinct forms. Firstly, their human shape, where Kage spends the majority of his time. Second is their full fox shape, and third is their Battle Form, designed to hybridise the best aspects of the first two.

Weaknesses:
While he can boil and evaporate water in small quantities, large amounts of it are capable of extinguishing him and doing serious harm. For this reason, he is uncomfortable around water and ice youkai, but still does his best to be courteous.

History
As one of the very few Kitsune born with black fur, Kage was singled out from an early age. He underwent extensive lessons in etiquette and politics as well as the more usual combat classes. He did far better in the latter than in the former, though he was no slouch in either. He gained tails at a rapid rate, far more so than usual, but it is unknown if this is due to his black fire or simply because he is unusually skilled in combat. At age eleven, he left the Kitsune village to attend a human school, in preparation for a life outside of hiding, but at age fourteen, his father was knocked into a river by a human, and died, kindling a deep resentment of humans within him.

Since then, he threw himself into his combat training, and gained two tails over the next two years, winning every combat tournament he entered with his age group, and even several of the ones above his expected level. Before he left for Youkai Academy, he resolved, and told his mother, that he was going to enter some human martial arts tournaments, both as a hobby and a way to legally beat up some humans.

I believe you should lower his human height 6'7 is almost as tall as kevin nash in his adulthood. I'd believe a six foot one - three would be a fair size. Otherwise i believe it's a good CS and acceptable.

Name: Solan Freya

Age: 15

Race of Monster: Valkyrie

Gender: Female

Appearance:

She is an average height of about five foot four, and is on the rather scrawny side. Solan has little feminine curve much to her discomfort. Her lovely snow white hair is cut in a short bob that reaches a little past her neck. Given so, her face still has a youthful roundness to it, and her maroon eyes still have a naïve curious look to them. When extended, her wingspan is a simple ten feet, that being each wing is only about five feet in length. She isn’t strong enough to carry a person just yet, as she needs to strengthen her wings until then.

She has a headband accessory that is metallic silver and on either side of her head of her ears it has small silver wings. This is worn as the mark of a Valkyrie that she always wears. Outside of uniforms, Solan usually wears clothes that are both neutral in color and gender. This would consist of simple button up clothes and pants and walking shoes. However, due to the possibility of using her wings, her shirts lack the back portion of fabric as when she summons her wings, they are attached to her.

History: She’s from a small hidden village in Norway, home to plenty of Valkyrie much like herself. Her home wasn’t always hidden from those who weren’t Valkyrie, but until recently, so few leave their tribes, in fear of the outside world, and the known discrimination against the Valkyrie. The myth that they brought death to anyone they met had spread, and with fear others held against them came violence. As a result, Solan had lived a sheltered life.

Ever since she was young, she lived in the shadow of her mother and older sisters. All of them were well known Valkyries who took on the noble job of guiding souls to Valhalla. Compared to them, she was pathetic in means of skill, including flight, one of the key aspects of being a guide for the dead. Not to mention her lack of backbone. When she received the unexpected letter as an invitation to Yokai Academy, she believed this was her chance to prove her family that she wasn’t useless. Her parents wished her luck, and her sisters rudely doubted their sibling to even last a day without messing things up, getting lost, or even eaten.

Personality: She enjoys the company of others, and is very kind, practically to the point and could be very easily taken advantages of, which would be her downfall, as she is too trusting .She is a good listener, and doesn't mind helping others. Solan's rather proper and treats everyone nicely despite how they treat her. She is very inquisitive, and after hiding from the world, she wants to learn everything about it. She doesn't understand customs that take place outside of her home very well, and can be a bit awkward at times due to her misunderstandings of situations. She is also very kind and happy to each and every one, which is the opposite most expect for being an “angel of death”. Having little experience in the world previous to her sheltered life, she has little fear as to the possible dangers the world hides. Given so, she can seem rather reckless in risky situations.

Habits and Quirks:
- Much like a bird, when she’s stressed, she sheds feathers.

- Her wings also sometimes portray her emotions, such as when she’s excited, her wings may flap wildly.

-Can be seen talking to birds.

-Apologizes constantly

-Speaks rather formal but tries to speak with slang, often getting terms wrong

Power(s):
-Flight with the help of wings that can be summoned and dismissed with a rather magical poof.

-Can sense death

-Can shapeshift into a small white bird for easily blending in the human world in addition to her human form.

Weaknesses:
-Can become melancholy if she senses a death even if she never knew them.

-Had trouble understanding some slang, technology, and modern customs.

-Can't fly very long or very high

-Has a slight fear of heights

Name: Yumi Fuwa

True Form:

Her appearance has not changed in the fourteen years she has been “alive”.

History:

Many years ago, Yumi was made by a skilled instrument maker. She was given to those who inhabited a shrine dedicated to Benzaiten in the mountains. Over the years she was used less and less until eventually she was put on a display in the quickly dying temple not to be touched for many years to come through many differing factors. Fast forward to thirteen years ago, the last of the monks of the temple dies leaving the place deserted. A year later, the spirit of the Biwa awakens and roams the temple, saddened at the lack of use she had in the last number of decades. Ghost stories happened to start up at the sighting of a girl playing depressing music this being Yumi, the Tsukumogami. Eventually, a group of differing Tsukumogami came and took her away, this was about 3 years after she became sentient.

For the next few years she was still angry and maybe even sad about being forgotten by humans, however the others helped her subdue the feelings of anger and sorrow and replaced the feelings with joy and happiness. They then decided it best to send her out to the world to learn. . . Well, at a school at least after teaching her all they could.

Personality:

Yumi is now an outwardly pleasant girl. While typically she wears traditional clothing, she sees the necessity in the school uniform though it doesn’t mean she likes it. She doesn’t consider many as friends but as an acquaintance. She will speak to others in friendly enough, yet formal terms. The outside personality may seem like the real deal as a nice, calm girl but in reality, she hasn't changed much since she had originally born. She is still a depressed being with anger in her heart but the only real difference is she can hide that now. The other Tsukumogami know this and hopes this can be fixed if she goes to school.

Habits and Quirks: When she feels greatly depressed she habitually wants to play music (on herself of course). Music has a tendency to calm her, even if it’s not another Biwa.

Power(s):

-Projecting a “body”

-Summoning her original Biwa “body” to her projected “body”, though it is draining.

-Sonic Noise from either body.

Weaknesses:

-Direct contact with an electrical current can cause her projected body to dissipate or fuzz like a TV on the special fuzz channel.

-Her main body, the Biwa, is what decides whether she lives or dies, it is also her main source of power. The further the projection is from the main body, the less powerful it is.

-Dissonant sounds typically leave her attempting to drown out the sound in some shape or fashion.

Other: Her Projected body can do what humans do as it’s basis is on them. It however, cannot be too far from her original body with far being relative (about as far as across campus).

Name: Felix Alexander

Age: 16

Race of Monster: Incubus

Gender: Male

Appearance:
Standing at 5'11", Felix has purple hair and crimson red eyes, while not wearing his uniform, he prefers to wear tight jeans, and a loose button shirt with tis sleeves rolled up, like he does with his uniform. His body is well toned, being one of his best features.

History: Hailing from the land of romance, which is France, Felix was raised by his father and elder sister. This small family was made even smaller with the passing of Felix's father, who only managed to make it six years after the death wife, even with the help of his mistress'. After that he was Raised by his sister, who was gladly, quiet a bit older than him. However, due to these circumstances they didn't have a lot of money, and lived very simple lives for a few years. Then Felix's sister managed to seduce a man with a lot of money, and power, which then caused an end to their financial problems, and led them to having an enjoyable life.

Being an Incubus though, Felix always had desires to be with the opposite sex since a young age, his youngest memory which he can recall his saying out loud his birthday wish, which was, and still is for a harem. Working towards this wish, he has always been flirty the ladies, and even the occasional guy, which, has not made him the most liked boy, and he often found himself being picked on if he was caught alone. Even though he knew he could beat a human in a fight, he would take the abuse, to not out himself, or he would make an illusion to let them think that they had beaten him up. It became a game for him to do such a thing he deemed so simple, never realizing the strength of his powers. He would continue to play with human bullies using his illusions his whole childhood.

A deeper underling reason he also wants a harem is due to the decrease in his races population. Such a beautiful creature such as they should surely live on, and he will do his best to ensure that they do.

Personality: Creative and mischievous, Felix has a knack and a love for art, all art. Poetry, music, drama, fine art, it all comes naturally to him. He loves these things as they are beautiful, and can find himself as a harsh art critic. Aside from art, he is naturally critical and judgemental on appearances, wanting things to be beautiful and grand, even his sister finds him vain. Felix has a great sense of humour, loving jokes, gags, and pulling pranks on unsuspecting people. He would much rather make love or have a laugh then fight. If a fight is inevitable, he will generally rely on illusions, and will laugh at them as they fight nothing and lose. He is much more intelligent then he lets on.

Habits and Quirks: Anything that does not interest, or he dislikes, Felix deems 'Ugly'
He has a tendency to flock towards females, it is his nature.
Even though he can speak more than six different languages perfectly, he retains a strong French accent.

Power(s):
◾Flight: With their wings, incubi can take to the skies and fly. They can even carry other people, though Felix would refuse to carry anything he deems ugly.
◾Enhanced Strength, though weak by succubi and incubi standards.
◾Charm (or Allure): By looking into a woman's eyes, incubi have the power to take control of that woman and then control him as if he were a marionette.
◾Illusions: Felix has the ability to cast illusions, which seem to possess some physical effect.
◾Mind Entering: incubi have the ability to enter another person's dream with their tails. To do this, the end of their tail opens like a flower which they then put on the intended target's head before entering the person's mind. This does leave their bodies very vulnerable.
◾Claws, In his true form, Felix's hands are more like claws, though not quiet sharp enough to cut through trees.
Weaknesses:
Emotions, Like most of his race, Felix has issues thinking logically if matters involve love, or a loved one.
Need for love, Being an incubus, Felix is not at his top game, unless he is in love
Heart broken, Losing a loved one can prove to be more fatal to an incubus than being stabbed, it is the reason why his father died.
Wind magic, or strong wind currents can disable or hinder his ability to fly
Physical strength, though an A rank monster, Felix's physical strength is more around a B level, he makes up for it with his intellect, illusions and good looks, or so he says.

Keep in mind some physical weaknesses like for example lack of physical strength (Despite looks or whatever it may be compared to others like trolls, giant etc of course you'd have more strength than the average human since your a relatively high powered monster but of course super strength may or may not be one of them) weakness to wind manipulation, etc would be for the best. For example I added wolf's bane to the list of weaknesses to just give my guy another weakness.

Also I believe that a incubus's powers of physical allure and mental manipulation would only affect women with few acceptions amongst men After all Kurumu in the series never used her powers on a woman as far as I know of. I'm not sure how well this would work in combat because we also haven't seen her use her powers in battle against male combatants as far as I'm aware.

Name: Yua Chou

Age: 16

Race of Monster: Succubus

Gender: Female

Appearance: She nearly towers over the “average” Japanese girl as she stands 170cm(About 5'7 1/2”) tall. Straight brown hair falls neatly to the tips of her shoulder blades which she styles with ribbon from time to time or just simply uses a hair band to keep it out of her face. She has small angled hazel eyes with thin brown eyebrows and a small pointed nose. She is nearly skinny as a board and her chest suffers for it. She loves to ware bat-wing earrings and when not in her school uniform she is more then likely to be waring either a dress or a skirt that shows off her legs.

Her light purple wings fold out to 4.25m long (about 14 ft) in her true form and purple razor sharp claws extend out from her finger tips. Her legs are strong and she takes pride in the strength of her wings.

History: Yua Chou is high-born as her mother is known to be a powerful succubus, and with that she was born a rich kid. Her mother had used her powers to become a wealthy patron in Japan as she took her time going from place to place and taking up businesses and using the men to run it for her. This of course led Yua to a childhood of constantly moving from school to school, and while she was always able to get the boys to like her. The girls at each school would quickly make her the enemy. She was always being gossiped about and when she reached middle school some girls took to calling her a whore.

Those she was never at a school for more then a year the name calling and talks about her made her very isolated from having any real friends that weren’t in love with her. She had a life of living in one man's house and moving into another. Never really having a father; just a mother with many boyfriends. Her last year in middle school she was moved twice, and in the middle of that summer her letter came for Yokai academy. Seeing this as a way out of her constantly moving lifestyle she accepted the invitation.

Personality: Outwardly she is cheerful and flirty with all of the guys and friendly with the girls around her. Though she wares her heart on her sleeve when it comes to making friends of the same sex as she had never had the chance to make a real friend and become attached to them. She is used to change and usually gives up on other females if it appears that they hate her. While appearing very feminine she loves to try and play sports and makes time for a good run “or fly”

Habits and Quirks:
-Loves her wings to the point of being aggressive to those who think their wings are better.
- Is always worried that her hair or make-up is messed up and can spend a lot of time looking in mirrors or reflections to check.

Power(s):
-Flight: Being a succubus she has the natural ability to fly, and can even carry one or two people.

Superhuman speed and reflexes: She can react fast enough to dodge gunfire and is quick enough to defeat many opponents at once.

Allue: Yua possesses powers of Allure, which she can use to hypnotize and control males. This technique, however, only seems to last a few minutes and only affects males.

Mind entering: She can enter the dreams of others with her tail.

Claws: Her claws are sharp enough to cut cleanly through solid trees as if it where butter.

Weaknesses:
-Her pride is quick to get in her way as she can easily be angered and thrown off of her battle plan by others.

-She can be easily saddened if her smaller breasts are made fun of by a girl with larger ones, or a male pointing out her “short comings”

-Her wings and tail are extremely sensitive and can cause her tremendous pain if hit.

-If she is not loved, or her heart is broken she will wilt and die.

-Wind magic and manipulation of wind can really affect her ability to fly

Also to both of you what I mean by wind magic is that those with strong abilities of wind manipulation can disrupt your abilities to fly depending on the strength. Those with weak wind magic would only be able to delay you if that.
