As for the group I'm with, we're now being attacked by wolves. I'd say there is about eight of them. Starving, mangy, real desperate. They're going to kill us or die trying.

Altered post, but she wouldn't just jump up to handle it. Not her job after all. If Zeynep and Gavlan go, she will have lost her conversation partners and would simply go and deal with it.

Well there we go. It is quite the dozy but Ellaria is pretty fun character to write.

That was one heck of an opening post. I think I'm just going to let you guys finish up this blood mage fight for yourselves and have your characters join the rest afterward. I was guessing that the PCs still in town could go on the stolen money quest if they wanted to. Maybe Ellaria even already knows something about it since she lives there? I was honestly planning on having it, like the missing husband quest, be fairly easy and use it to transition into the more serious parts of the game. I already have a pretty big event planned which a group this large should easily be up to.

Sure. Although Ellaria isn't the type to give back stolen money. That's what Karine is for. A strict, lawful good character meets a sort of chaotic neutral character. Balances out.

Lawful Good? Eh... I suppose Karine is, in a way, Lawful. But she's also a Blood Knight. With honor at least. I myself think of her more as "Lawful Neutral" with a lot of leaning towards True Neutral in that she doesn't go out of her way to be good or evil, but doesn't really follow the law as much as she does use it to her own ends.

Nobody said she'd have to give it back, although that's certainly a suggestion. A barmaid's weekly salary isn't going to pay for much anyway.

Even better! Lawful Neutral and a Chaotic Neutral walk into a bar...

You know at first I was intending on having Ellaria be on the ship as the second investor for the fleeing charter. She would know and not care about the Blood Mage but when Karine confronts and pretty much kills all the blood mage's guards. Ellaria would step in and pretend to throw her support for the blood mage but almost immediately plant her tomahawk in the mage's skull. She knew there would be a bounty on the blood mage and would take the opportunity to not only earn gold but also save herself from a fight against Karine.

Oh Ellaria definitely wouldn't care about the money if it were just a barmaid's piggy bank. Not even enough to track it down, but let's say the barmaid is a friend and is constantly pestering Ellaria to find it, then ya. That would work.
