[IC] Supernaturals Surving the Streets

As the sun rose of the city most of the residents were getting ready to start the day. Roxy was just ending hers. She tucked the money she had made into her boot before heading towards home. Well it wasn't truly her home she had left that behind over a year ago. Now she was heading back to the abandoned apartment building she had found. The building was in excellent condition considering it had been abandoned several years ago.

Seeing that the sun was rising and realizing that he had somehow actually managed to survive another night, Sonja blinked the last remnants of sleep from his eyes and dropped from the fire escape where he had been hiding. He wasn't really sure what this building was, since he had found it in the dark very late at night, when most people should have been sleeping. All he knew was that it was far enough out of the way and he had been lucky enough not to get caught. Adjusting the slightly large jacket on his shoulders, he set out on the streets, keeping an eye out for a way to obtain his next meal and perhaps a better place to sleep the next night.

Kamina is walking the streets, Seeing Sonja... though he himself had no coat on... he put a arm around the boy, trying not to cut him, "Hey buddy whats up?" she asked, "a little cold?"

Sonja was immediately wary of this stranger. He knew that there were all kinds of weird people on the streets, and this one was especially suspicious. He tried to duck away from his arm as best he could without getting sliced up...well, that was definitely a bit different. "Sorry, I don't think I know you. You probably have me mistaken for someone else."

"You are cold aren't you?" he asked, "Then you must be the person I am looking for." He said.... walking over to a trash can, and then lit whatever was inside afire. "There warm... I'll go rob some store.... maybe kill whoever tries to stop me... but you will have a full belly won't you now?" he said, "or would you rather someplace like a fast food joint?" he asked.

Suddenly alarmed by this, the boy stepped back. What was this guy playing at? All sorts of terrifying possibilities ran through Sonja's mind, then he realized...
"...Looking for me? You're with them, aren't you? I'm not going back!" Without hesitating, he turned on his heel and began running. He had figured that it would only be a matter of time before he ran into someone from the old gang, but that didn't mean that he was going to let them just take him again. No way was that happening, not if he could help it!

Damon was walking out of a alley way, he had just had a lovely meal, human blood to be exact

He flew in front of him, "What is the rush.... you make it look like I am from some gang or something...." He stated, Then thought about it for a moment.... "Welllll I did kill one a few days ago, said i had to pay a tax... and wanted me to join, I said no..." He said "They wouldn't get out of my way... and were getting annoying with their knives and crap... one of them even pulled out a one of those loud annoying pea shooters.... it annoyed me so much I put them on ice then carved beautiful statues from them, and left before another bunch of idiots in blue came by, then decided to find you and oh that's right I never gave you my name.... Kamina.... " He said pulling in his claws and spikes on one hand to shake.

Sonja had stopped short when he was cut off by the strange being. Great, just great. This guy wasn't going to be easy to outrun, obviously, so perhaps a change in tactics was needed. He sighed, "Alright, what is it you want? Why were you looking for me?" Placing his hands calmly in the pockets of his jacket, he brushed his fingers against the small bundles of seeds he kept there. "I doubt that my soul is worth very much, and I'm pretty sure I don't have anything else useful on me."

"Gosh kid, I could kill you so easily and all you have to think about is how much your soul is worth?" He put a arm around him, "look I am not going to kill you or something so Horrific we can't talk about it... lets be friends, if you are afraid of a gang you use to be in sent me, I will go kill them for you.... No need to be afraid of me...." He said lightly, "Think of me like your Guardian Dragon that Killed the Devil because it was too Cold for my taste...." He said. "Call me your Bro, or Kamina...."

Roxy was exhausted by the time she got back to her apartment building. She longed for a nice hot shower after her night of working but that wasn't an option. She couldn't even manage a cold shower. Eventually she would have to find a way to get power and water to her building but she hadn't found a way to do that without the city finding out she was staying her. She made her way into the building to the managers suit that she had claimed for herself. She curled up on the bed and tried to sleep.

Kel let out a loud yawn and stretched as he sat up from the old, beaten up mattress he called a bed. He stood and cracked his back before he made his way to the opening of the side ally he was using as a home at the time. He took a moment to rub his eyes and spit befor ehe looked down the street and spotted his breakfast, a unsuspecting fruit stand. H e made his way down the side walk leisurely, getting the occasional sympathetic stare from passerby's. He eventually made it to the stand and in a swift movement he had three apples and was already half way down the street before the vendor started yelling after him. A smirk came to Kel's face because he know he would loose the heavy set woman and be enjoying his meal soon, for this was his daily routine for nearly the past ten years.

Dragon, not demon. Sonja took a moment to correct himself in his mind. "I'm afraid I don't understand why you would want that. I'm not really worth anyone's time, especially not to someone already so...well equipped." He thought for a moment. "Did someone tell you I was a dealer or something? I really don't understand."

"Bro stop asking so many questions and accept my Goodwill...." he said as they came across a fruit stand.... and he saw Kel.... he took is arm off of Sonja, "What do we have here" he said with a smile, and started to walk to wards Kel, with a seeming intent to fight the guy... he was measuring the man....

(Familiar with the Bad Ass Greeting of Punching each other, then smile and shake hand, with bro hugs? Or the one where they measure each other, and then just smile and Bro hug and shake hands... like they are friends :3)

Kel had lost the fruit vendor with a minute or two, it was pretty easy after he started jumping over cars, and he was settling down by an ally and was about to enjoy his food when he noticed some guy walking up to him. His amber eyes looked him over for a moment before he cracked his usual smirk. He started to juggle the three apples he got before he spoke. "Well what do we have here? A curious little lizard?"

"And what are you The Sandman?" He asked, as he kept walking towards him... he pulled his spikes in, he had no intent on serous injury with him... Didn't need to, both of then should know how to great another such as themselves...

Sonja took this opportunity to hurry on his way. He still didn't trust the guy from before, and he had to get food, anyway. Before long, he had reached a fruit stand where the vendor was currently busy. Surveying the produce, he quickly plucked a few berries and kept walking. A few berries were nothing to be missed, but would provide just enough for him as long as he could get to the park.

*David walks around and looks around. He looks at all the buildings and winces when he sees something bad. Sometimes seeing the future was hard, but he can't help himself being able to see it. He also knew he needed a place to stay tonight, he didn't have any money as he has a man with his hood up and black outfit. David smiles at him and holds out his hand, the other man takes it and they pull eachother in for a hug as they both pull away* "Where have you been?"

*The other looks around* "Just the usual. Stealing from the Rich, taking some and giving the rest to the poor."

*David laughs a bit* "You are quite the guy to help people after what you've been through." *The man hands him a wade of cash, David looks a bit surprised* "W-Why are you giving me this?"

*The Man chuckles and smiles under his hood* "Your my friend. So I want to help. There is an apartment building not far from here, the girl there hopefully will be nice to you and let you stay there. If not just let me do the talking. I'll keep an eye on you till your inside." *David nods as the Man disappears into the shadow, he quickly made his way to the apartment building as he walked inside and says out loud quite loud* "Hello? Anyone here?"

Roxy sighed. Fortunately she hadn't fallen asleep yet. She climbed out of bed and tiredly made her way to the front of the apartment building. She didn't know who had wandered in. No one else had ever shown interest in the building since she moved in. With her luck it was the police here to kick her out, but just in case it was someone looking for trouble Roxy grabbed one of her knives before going to the lobby area. "Yea what do you want?"
