Well, Dragon Age does have a soul consuming story, haha! I think it's because I grew up on games like Baldurs Gate and Icewind Dale; they were isometric RPGs based on 2nd edition D&D, and the combat mechanics required a lot of pausing and manipulating the battlefield.
Dragon Age Origins still has that isometric feel, which was super awesome. Inquisition kind of does, if you use the tactical camera, but you can tell it's not very well implemented. I mean, Frostbite *is* a FPS engine, so it makes sense...I'm just old, haha. FPS gaming is tough for me, it's so twitchy and I can't keep up. Grandma here needs her pause button and time to read every single codex entry *A* I need the lore!!!
