Alright guys. The next act has begun (again, sorry for the delay). Now, something I want to follow up on. The groups for the expeditions have yet to be determined. I figured I would talk with you all and we can decide who would like to group with who. Similarly, here are the expeditions that need doing:
1. A ruin up the river has been teeming with Skarves lately. It is believed that this has become a new center for their emerging commerce. A group is required to observe the goings on there and report any unusual behaviors back to expedition head Ryuun Hisari. This expedition will be lead by Racial cultural expert Drivas Scrisca (elf) (I will be speaking for Drivas)
2. An unusual magical energy has been coalescing in the valley northwest of the colony, sputtering in and out of existence. A dragon has been seen in the area, and most the vegetation in the immediate vicinity has died as a result of these violent magical outbursts. A group is required to determine the nature or intent of these outbursts and determine if they are a threat to the colony, if they are, a follow-up expedition will be composed with a larger force to deal with the issue. This expedition will be lead by Rigitas Morta, specialist on unusual and unorthodox magics. (I will be speaking for Rigitas)
3. An underground ruin has been discovered by the colonist mining teams, a group is required to determine the nature and danger level of this ruin so that mining operations can continue commencement. This expedition will be jointly led by Vriis-Nar Scal-Varris, leader of the Blue Circle, and Thul-Tak Ironbone, mining and architectural specialist. (I will be controlling both Vriis-Nar and Thul-Tak)
Groups can consist of 2-4, it is not required that you work with your partner on the same expedition. All of these expeditions are dangerous and equally important. When choosing which one your character will be going on, think more about the character's good and bad qualities. What are they known for, what do they specialize in, how would they be beneficial in each of these expeditions, rather than which one sounds more interesting to you. Use the same factors that you feel would be thought of by the likes of Ryuun would when assigning each of you to these different tasks.
Once the groups have been worked out, I'll post a formal listing so that each of you knows what the needed materials for each expedition are, and the exact specifications with each task. And I promise you, each of these expeditions will be exciting, so don't feel like you're getting the short end of the stick depending on which one you go on. They are all equally important and have resulting consequences for the story going forward.
