I love oatmeal cookies, tbh. Everyone always bitches about oatmeal raisin, but they're so good.

And I just busted out three replies without dicking around for an hour beforehand, so I'm feeling p alright with myself.

I'm not big on oatmeal raisin but maybe if I made them myself, they might be better. Do you have a recipe for any by any chance?

Heya, been a crazy weekend. It's gonna be a scorcher today and tomorrow, high 90s, into the 100s. Urgh. I think my errands are finally out of the way this week. ^^ Did you get a chance to get any painting done for your grandma?

No, the books came out first and then it was adapted from them and written for TV. I decided to read them because the show lacks some information and I want to figure out what's going on. Plus, I want to see if I was right about the twist. What book are you reading?

Is it a long series? The concept looks really cool but I haven't made time to watch it. How are the books?

I'm reading Empire Falls, a book about a small town. I just finished A House of Sand and Fog and it's set in a local area about some Persian guy buying a house that was accidentally sold to him because of an accidentally foreclosure of a woman, the woman ends up hooking up with a married cop who tries to help her get her house back while the Persian man and his family want to just sell it and make a profit. It was a good read, though I think Empire Falls won a Pulitzer Prize, I cant pass judgment on it yet though, too soon.

I have give it life. XD And I'm done cat sitting which is awesome because I have had insane allergies ever since I went over there, which is weird because I've never shown an allergy to cats before (having had 2) but maybe it's that there's four of em...either way, that's been sill giving me hell these past few days.

It's a ten episode mini-series, so no. Not that long and it's almost over so you can probably find the full series online in a few weeks. The book is alright. I probably should have read them first and then watched the series because it's a little anti-climactic now, but they're still interesting. You get better explanations for things.

I think my mom read that, haha. It sounds interesting though. I think I'm going to start on the Southern Reach trilogy next? A friend recommended it and it sounds like it's my cup of tea.

I'm sorry you have allergies D: They can happen at any time, you know. Like me and peanuts. I hope your clear up soon.

I can't believe people endure allergies so often. I would never be able to cope. >__< I think mine are almost all cleared up but medicine just doesn't help me, I hope it helps you though.
