I'm pretty sure that if the Papal States were to get involved I could just send a small force and take them out in a mini update. I mean, a full blown home island and India rebellion lasted one turn, rofl.

I don't think that they'd be able to get there fast enough, the Papal States are literally in Italy's back yard.

Also, who knows about the church. I mean out of a lot of things that have happened, that is probably the least questionable part of it.

If that happens, I'll surrender immediately to his holiness. Though my terms will be the Papal States completely annexing Italy provided Roberto Lee becomes Pope.

Oh no. For realism sake I'm fighting this war to win. But Papal States would be nice.

@Sailor, there are already French and Austrian guards in the Papal States, plus we have our own small Army and the power of God behind us.
