China sounds fun because, well, it's China, and you the Sino-Japanese War would be really fun. Guatemala sounds fun to re-establish the United Province of Central America as some kind of European Union-esque entity. Poland would be an interesting country to play as well.

Ugh. Andrew Johnson. I don't think it showed in the update, but I made sure to change Lincoln's running mate for the '64 election to someone else.

You'd be screwed if it was as he is super incompetent and will easily derail your war effort. And if it is a radical republican then the South will truly fight to the bitter end.

I went with Schuyler Colfax, a Radicalish Republican who was Speaker of the House. I figure with me already passing the 13th Amendment the South will fight tooth and nail regardless.

Colfax was from Indiana. I chose him because I didn't want Hamlin or Johnson. Just be thankful I didn't go with my gut choice of Thaddeus Stevens.
