I think Outcast might die from an overabundance of typing and reading if we asked him to start another before this one is finished. Haha. It's already requiring a lot of work I imagine and we aren't even past the first turn.

the problem is though that the two powerful empires are on the other side of the atlantic dealing with their own problems.

Not to mention that by committing to this war there is a good chance there will be adverse affects for them elsewhere. I doubt their public is too keen on the war right now either.

Question regarding the colony of India. India under British Rule had their own army known as the Presidency Armies which fell under the control of the three presidencies. Which while under the command of India was also strongly controlled by Britain through the Trading Company. Those three armies add up to 196,000 troops. Would britain have the ability to control those with a colony order or what not?
