Just a heads up Aegon in case you didn't know, but usually major war offenses stopped during the winter. It wasn't until technology improved clothing and road conditions in the 20th century that they could actually have year around warfare.

Not really an example of a huge military offensive, though. Engagements during the Revolution were much smaller than those of contemporary wars and were dwarfed by offensives from the Napoleonic Wars and beyond. The Battle of Trenton involved a couple thousand soldiers whereas Civil Wars battles usually involved tens of thousands, for instance.
