We don't want to get rid of everything in the Constantinople treaty. We just want a peace that is founded on something other than a threat that all the major powers will declare war on you.

Narco I took the best offer and it allowed me to not have to pay the debt at this current time, build up and allow for la reforma to actually work. Also the major nations denying the smaller nations a seat at the table will breed discontent that will destabilize the region. Britains rhetoric should also anger most Europeans as well and wonder what will happen in the update:p

You are in a very precarious position, but you might be able to luck out with the United Kingdom go full on crazy. If they start suffering major revolts you might be able to get away from the debt owed. Might be a very big maybe there though.

Probably just protection against European aggression. Since Mexico is in very real danger of it if they can't pay off their debt.
