Viral wasn’t too keen to hear Kabocha giving his own smart aleck return with an insult to his current strength, but Vegeta butting in was something Viral needed nothing of. He could stand up for himself, he didn’t need Vegeta shoving his way in as well. Watching the two carefully, he gave Vegeta a particularly hard stare when his energy levels went up but didn’t speak of it, at least not while he was busy shoving his nose into his business. While he didn’t know whether it was bad enough that Yumi automatically assumed that he wanted the chair, her assumption making him feel almost like he was being babied because he wasn’t at one hundred percent.

Watching as Kabocha made a quick exit to probably do nothing that Viral told him to do, Viral looked back to Vegeta, giving him a fair annoyed glare if there ever was one, “I can stand up for myself. Don’t think just because you have power doesn’t mean you can show him up any more than I can and flaunt it around when you’re not supposed to”, he spoke in a fair strict manner, turning to look at Yumi, “Don’t tell him anything, okay? I’m going to my room”. He didn’t know why everyone always thought they had to shove themselves into his business while minding their now, now the guy probably was never going to bother finding food for the others. Heading on off to his room, he could only really hope Yumi paid particular mind to what he said, especially when he didn’t need Vegeta wondering if his beating was actually the worst thing he could had done.

Shu was a little anxious about what they needed to do; it was hard not to be when he relied heavily on knowing how to understand serious talk over everything else that he had learned on his journey. If there was something he had no idea how to handle, it was how to hold a serious conversation with a complete stranger. He had time to think about it before they got there, it shouldn’t be too difficult if he knew what he had to try and find out about. Hopefully it shouldn’t take long, he didn’t want to stay out when it got dark outside just incase dangerous people came out at that time too. As they made their way over to the house, Shu make a stop when he spotted Kabocha, giving him a curious look before Takeshi spoke up again, “Ooh? Why would she give you part of what she is?” he asked curiously only to look back to the house again and making a brief run, “I’ll be quick, maybe!”

Running off along to the house, Shu tried to go over in his mind what he should really ask Yumi and how he was supposed to keep track of directions. He wasn’t particularly good at keeping directions, he relied heavily on landmarks to find his way and there was only a few he could remember. Upon approaching the house, Shu stared at Kabocha for a moment; his mind still not terribly sure on how he should take him and the other two Saiyans being here before he quickly opened the door and entered the house. It was a little intimidating, but upon remembering what he was supposed to be asking again he made a brief run, working his way to his room to get his staff, “Yumi! Yumi! I need to know how to get to Queen ‘Your Majesty Your Highness’ again! I need to go find out some things!”

Vegeta's temper simmered down a bit once Kabocha had left, dropping his energy back to where it had been previously. He was even more aggravating than Takeshi had been, and that was saying something. Rolling his eyes at the boy storming off he then looked to Viral, surprised once more at how disdainful he sounded. "I'm not trying to show you up, I'm only trying to help." came the reply, this time getting an angry glare from Yumi as well.

"You're acting like he's incompetent, when he's not. Don't you think that's a little bit insulting?" Yumi asked, clearly annoyed as well. She and Viral had been making progress and now this, so much for having a good day. Hearing herself being addressed just as harshly the Beastman turned to her friend, disappointed about being chewed out as well. Ears folding down she smiled slightly, nodding her head. "Of course, I won't say a word." All of that work for nothing, how annoying. Watching Viral start off towards his room Yumi gathered herself up, putting on a more convincing smile as best she could. "I'll be making dinner soon, just so you know if you get hungry!"

Takeshi tried to answer his brother only to be left outside as Shu ran off not a second later. The only thing as fast as Shu was his mouth, the Saiyan mused, smiling slightly as he turned to look down the road. It was probably best he not explain what he had meant anyways, as knowing his brother he'd accidentally let it slip and he would end up on the receiving end of a smack. Absentmindedly rubbing his cheek at that image Takeshi wondered where Kabocha was running off to, debating on asking the twins to watch him for a change. That would be easier if either Kai or Choi were actually present of course. He had to have faith that the Saiyan would hang around to see his parents rescued. Placing faith in Kabocha was a stretch, Takeshi had to admit, but surely whatever little argument he'd just gotten in wasn't enough to drive him off.

Yumi had gone into the kitchen by herself, hoping to get food going as a means of staying busy. There wasn't a whole lot in the room really, sans a few pieces of fruit. She might have to go into town to get something to use, and with no money to buy anything it would be a tad tricky. Her thoughts turned to the gift basket they'd received earlier, and the rock inside in particular. Moving to the table she lifted the lid, sifting through until she took it out, examining it in her hands carefully. It was cool to the touch, and looked like any normal rock, if not for the cyan colored crystals protruding from it. In a way it was fairly pretty, but she had no idea what it was for really. Getting it appraised somewhere could help, so long as doing so didn't get them into any kind of trouble.

In the midst of her examination Shu barged into the room, giving her a little jump as she juggled to keep the rock in her grip. Sighing in relief Yumi set it back on the table, turning to the little Saiyan with a soft smile. "It's just 'Your Majesty' or 'Your Highness' first of all Shu," she replied, giggling a bit to herself. "And sure, I can try to help with that. I'm guessing you and your brother have something in mind?" Motioning for Shu to follow along the two of them went towards the back door, in large ignoring Vegeta on the couch as they exited the house. Faced with the woods again Yumi pondered it for a moment, trying to recollect her bearings from earlier. "You want to go that way..." she started, pointing slightly off to their left, an opening in the treeline. "Go straight until you run into where we found the Prince. There'll probably be something there to show it, so just keep walking until you find a sign." There wasn't anything in particular that she could remember to signify the spot, sans for where Shu and T'charll had skid across the ground, leaving a visible mark. "When you get there you want to head straight to the left, and you'll reach the place. Can you remember that?"

Moving into his room, Viral closed the door over calmly before giving it a good push to click it into place, just so he’d know if someone tried to wander in without his permission. He didn’t know what to do with himself anymore, his eyes surveying his quiet room where he struggled to sleep last night. The constant battle against nightmarish memories was always happening at night, he could imagine Shu having just as hard a time with it but luckily his mind wasn’t played around with as much as his. Shu had only the memories of physical and mental torment from the scientists to fight against, but he had all that plus constant near death experiences and hallucinations that followed as his mind practically melted all over the floor. It wasn’t something that would disappear overnight with a simple operation and adding stem cells, the mental deterioration had already happened and the voices were just faint whispers.

Slowly moving over to his bed, Viral sat down with a heavy thump as his hand went to his neck. It was feeling a little tense, rather itchy too. He had no idea whether it was actually working or only some of them were, but otherwise he didn’t much care about that considering his circumstances. He could probably do with getting his bandages changed, his wounds possibly healed by quite a bit now. He figured he’d probably only need a day before he was near enough fully able, but he was still physically exhausted and mentally broken. Letting out a sigh he slowly lay down, his eyes staring at the roof. Even if he got better, he had no idea how he’d be of use in battle now that there was even more Ki users to compete with, it would be incredibly awkward if he finally found an opponent only for that smart-mouthed Saiyan to fly off with them.

Shu was fair excited to get going that he could barely wait for Yumi to tell him what was what and how to get there, bouncing on his toes as she spoke to him. He was fair happy to go back there again, even if there might be some tension if only to see the glowing lights and the strange architecture that fascinated him. Still not quite understanding what those phrases meant even after Yumi told him, he slowly shuffled closer to her before continuing his bounce on his toes, “Uh huh, we’re going to ask some things and hope they don’t try to kill Takeshi”, he smiled as he was led away off to the door. Taking in what she was showing him, he slowly tilted his head to the side before looking up to her, giving a little nod, “I think so, it took a while to get there, but maybe Takeshi could help us go faster”, he said quickly before jumping at Yumi to give her a hug, “Thanks! I’m going to get my staff too; maybe the Captain will like it…”

As time went by, so did a couple of Saiyans nearly fly right by the house in what looked like a frantic search for it before they were spotted by someone. It was the twins, both looking slightly tanned by something that must have been some heat. They had both gone a fair distance before returning back, it had been some journey but they had done all they could to find clues and obviously found something they had interest in if they had managed to nearly cook themselves. Gradually dropping to ground level, Choi dusted himself down while Kai looked over him before his eyes diverted their way to Takeshi and Kabocha. It seemed fairly convenient that they were out here, otherwise they would had struggled to find the place, “Uhh hi, was it one of you who boosted your power?” Kai spoke up, looking a little confused, “We were searching all over and it wasn’t until the scouter picked it up…anyway, how did your search go?”

"Kill Takeshi? We wouldn't want that at all," Yumi commented, hiding a sly smile from Shu. Seeing him get hit once or twice would be just fine though, even if he'd been relatively well behaved since she'd seen him. On the task at hand the Beastman did her best to illustrate where to go, not really knowing much besides the directions. Despite that Shu seemed to understand well enough, and surely between him and his brother they could find where to go. When Shu pounced on her in a hug Yumi squealed faintly, laughing as she returned the abrupt show with a hug of her own. "Okay, have fun and be careful. There'll be food for when you get back." she replied, giving the little Saiyan's hair a ruffle as she'd seen his brother do so many times. In a better mood now she made her way back inside, humming contentedly whilst returning to the kitchen to try and scrap something together.

Feeling two energies darting towards them Takeshi turned in their direction expectantly, and sure enough waved down the twins as they nearly missed the house. It wasn't until they got closer that he noticed their changed complexion, finding it both curious and fairly amusing as he wondered just where they had ended up. Chuckling at the sight of it he clamped a hand over his mouth, shaking his head in reply to Kai. "Nope... Neither of us did that," he answered, biting back his giggles as he calmed himself down. To the second half of the question the Saiyan shook his head again, putting his hands up defeatedly. "Nothing yet, but Shu and I are going to look into something that might give us a lead, so we'll have a better answer then. Just where in the hell did you two go anyways? You look like you fell into someone's oven."

Shu giggled a little as he clung onto Yumi, giving her a good hug as she hugged him. He really did hope that nothing would happen while he was over there, but he could never be too careful. Pulling away from her as she gave his hair a good rub, he smiled at her before he began to bounce a little, “Oooohhh food! Yes food! I’d like that very much, I can’t wait”. Watching as she moved on back into the house, he made a sudden dash once she had fully entered the house and ran straight for his room, nearly skidding as he grabbed hold of the door. Quickly entering his room, he looked around and found his staff sitting neatly on his bed. He was fair happy to see it, he was quite happy to see how it might handle itself when he used it. Snatching it off his bed, he made a quick walk out of the house, feeling quite happy and sure that he’d be able to lead his brother there.

While Kai seemed quite self-conscious when he noticed Takeshi’s reaction to them, Choi had absolutely no clue and just thought that something was being discussed that was pretty funny. Frowning a little, Kai folded his arms as he looked back to the house, trying to decide whether there was enough room in there for all of them to stay if they had to before looking back to Takeshi. If Takeshi really think he had a lead then that was good, things would only get easier from there, but there was always assumptions and hopefully that was definitely not one of them. Letting out a sigh, he looked to his brother before back to Takeshi as the question rose to what they had been up to. Frowning a little, Kai shoved his brother back a footstep, “Choi thought it was wise to go down this large hole in the landscape, but of course that strange energy just shot up and almost fried us”, he spoke, shaking his head, “Other than that, we didn’t find much other than a lot of those holes. Just what are those things anyway and where is that energy coming from?”

"I'll try and make something super special for you, okay? If you can remember to bring back something from the forest, some meat. I don't think these people really sell any." She could go buy plenty of other things with that rock though, that was for sure. Parting ways with Shu she went right to the kitchen, going back to the rock and examining it closely. If this was from the royal family then she believed it was expensive, just how much though was a mystery. Considering they had maybe a day at most left on this world it seemed kind of pointless to sell it, but then again with so many dang mouths to feed now they would need a ton of food. Tucking the rock away in the basket Yumi went to go leave but hesitated upon hearing the four boys outside, not at all keen at running into that trio. Instead she went through the rear door again, slipping around the back of the house and heading into town to pawn off the rock.

Takeshi couldn't for the life of him figure out why the twins had suddenly come back crispy. When Kai made an attempt to explain their situation he only laughed harder, covering his mouth with both hands to stifle it. "You thought that was a good idea? Seriously?" he teased, laughing still as his hands went to his stomach. After a good chuckle over it the Saiyan settled down again, still grinning like a goof in amusement. "Wow, that's going to be one for the books. And why are you asking me? I've got no clue what those things are, or even what the energy is. Your guess is as good as mine." He had meant to ask about it before, as the twins certainly weren't the only ones wondering. It wasn't Ki, that much he knew, and it seemed to jam electronics to a degree. What little he learned about science while in Saiyan command was that magnetic storms on some worlds scrambled their signals, could this be a similar thing? But then the environment seemed fine, so that was curious. "Shu and I are going to head out to look into this shortly, can you three PLEASE try not to get into a fight while we're gone?"

"As long as none of your friends are idiots then sure, no fighting," Kabocha chimed in, not looking at all thrilled, "Just hurry up will you? The longer we take the more danger our families are in, and I'm starting to worry." If the king started to suspect failure or betrayal then it was possibly their parents would be killed well before they could ever try saving them. Forcing that thought to the back of his mind Kabocha fidgeted a bit restlesslt, giving Takeshi a staring. "And where can we get some food?"

Takeshi lifted his shoulders in a shrug, starting to walk back to the door to go inside the house. "How should I know? Just wait, we'll bring something back to cook up." This was going to be a strenuous evening for everyone, what with butting heads and whatnot. With any luck they'd have this dilemma solved in no time, then everyone could be on their way. What his squad planned to do once free wasn't of much concern to him, so long as they didn't go around attacking people. As he reached for the door Shu beat him to it, coming out and nearly bumping into the older boy on accident. "Well that was fast!" Takeshi remarked, smirking as he backed off to let his sibling outside. "Ready to get going? Know which way we need to head?"

Kai frowned when all Takeshi did was laugh even louder than usual, it hardly felt like a matter to be laughing at when they had very well nearly died because Choi got too curious for his own good. Giving Choi a sharp look before back at Takeshi, he waited until he stopped laughing before letting out a sigh, “You mean you weren’t even told?” he frowned, shaking his head a little, “Maybe you should at least find out what they are before you think to place our family here? That would be very nice”. He was a little nervous to say the least when it came to his family having to settle here, he was already nervous about them being left out there for too long. They had a few days at most before the King got suspicious, after that they had to hope and pray that their families hadn’t been harmed.

Choi didn’t think it was very funny, it had hurt a lot and now he was going to have problems with his skin along with his brother for a little while. He wouldn’t be doing that again, but who’s to say it was wrong to not check what was in a massive hole in the landscape and why it was there. There could had easily been something down there of interest, he didn’t know where these people lived. Frowning, he looked around as Takeshi wandered off back to the house ending with Choi getting a little fright when he spotted Shu standing at the door. Letting out a groan, he slowly moved towards Kabocha, pointing at the kid for a second, “It’s that kid again…think he still turns into a monster?” he muttered ending with Kai punching his shoulder to tell him off.

Shu stood waiting at the door, bouncing a little as he waited for Takeshi to finish up talking to his friends. He didn’t really want to go near them, he still saw them as a little scary, he didn’t actually know what to make of them fully. Yumi and Vegeta were quite upset with them and that was enough for him to be suspicious about them, even if he didn’t know the full story. Smiling when Takeshi came over to him he immediately nodded, bouncing a little, “Uh huh! I know! It may take a while if we walk, so we better go fast, huh? We gotta go this way!” he said, pointing off where Yumi told him to go, “Then we gotta turn left at where I bumped into the Prince, it’s quite far”.

Takeshi and Shu left the house behind rather quickly, doing their best to make time to the city and back. With a potential all out war looming over the horizon and the very real chance of people being killed they had a sense of urgency, spurring them both to rush a bit. Rather than walk Takeshi had opted to carry his brother on his back, taking flight through the forest at a fairly decent speed. At first they overshot the spot where they had to turn, doubling back as they came across a clearing Shu didn't recognize. Once they regained their senses and found where the prince had been hiding it was fairly simple from there on out, heading right now since they had passed it by. The trip from that point to the entrance of the city seemed to be a great deal shorter, reaching it in little to no time at all. Takeshi landed right before it in plain view of the guards, many of which recognized Shu but not the other boy with them. Understandably then they were hesitant to take action, only trusting half of this duo before them.

"Relax, we're friends." Takeshi spoke up, walking towards the gates with a smile. Getting a few sharp weapons pointed his way as a result he halted in his step, sighing and putting his hands up. He'd figured this would happen, but it was bothersome nonetheless. "We want to speak to the Queen, it's about the war. We might have an idea that can end it." Keeping a steady eye on the guards he was a bit off put when one of them advanced, holding their blade nearer to his person than he'd have liked. Eyebrow twitching irritably he forced a strained smile, his hands dropping slightly. "Just get whoever is in charge, will you?"

The guard, not overly thrilled with this newcomer, hardly budged as he asked for their Captain. Seeing Shu there was a little reassuring, as they knew he was a friend, but this boy was an uncertainty. "Watch your tongue, we don't take orders from you. However, if you're with that boy then our Captain will hear you out." Not taking his weapon away the guard turned his head and shouted to the others, one of which went inside hurriedly. "Shu, is it...? Who is this boy and why is he here?"
"I'm Shu's brother, if that means anything to you." And it certainly seemed to, but not what he had hoped. The other guards who had been at the entrance moved forward too, now having three swords trained on him. Takeshi was fairly close to smacking them each and making them knock it off, but for the sake of their mission he had to refrain and stifle his irritation. "You can trust me... Now please get those out of my face..."

"Your brother saved our Prince, but you've done nothing. You have not earned our trust, and we don't hand it out freely." a guard replied, narrowing his eyes at the Saiyan. He seemed about as pleased with this as they were, no one wanted to be in this situation right now. From behind the group the sound of doors opening up made a few heads turn to see who was coming out. It was L'esta, flanked by no less than eight guards. Immediately the four at Takeshi's throat moved off, turning and saluting their superior. "Sir!"

L'esta didn't really know what to make of what was going on out here. By the urgency of his men he had thought they were under attack, and yet all that was out here was Shu and his brother? Looking at Takeshi he really couldn't understand his subordinates aggression, the boy looked a bit more aggressive than Shu but hardly menacing. "At ease men, they're our friends." the Captain ordered, motioning for everyone to lower their weapons, which they did gradually. Stepping across the open ground L'esta stood before the two boys, smiling at Shu more than his brother. "We didn't expect you back so soon. What can we help you with?"

Shu didn’t mean for them to go too far ahead, he was fairly certain he could remember the way for the longest time and eventually after a few overshooting problems. He was a little nervous, even though these people were friends to him they still didn’t know his brother so who knew what might happen. As they finally made it to the place, the reception they were met with was less than stellar, at least to Takeshi. With the immediate aggressive approach towards Takeshi, Shu got off Takeshi’s back and moved away, feeling a little nervous about the whole situation. He didn’t know what he could say to make things better other than just show that he was there and able to be supportive to his brother, but it was looking pretty hard to do that when one wrong move and Takeshi would be speared.

Watching the interaction between the guards and his brother carefully, he frowned a little as he tried to suss out what was the best course of action to take while he was under so much watch. Trying to slowly get inbetween the weapons and Takeshi, turned out he didn’t need to as the Captain soon showed his face and Shu was left with a hint of relief in his expression. It was good to see him again, but the aggression being shown was not going away as quickly as he hoped. Frowning a little, he tilted his head at the number of guards that were following him before immediately turning his attention towards L’esta, giving him a nervous wave as the guards lowered their weapons. He felt pretty glad that happened, he’d hate it if they had to leave because the Captain didn’t want to cooperate.

Shu felt he could move forward now, he was glad that he could get in closer when the guy had relieved his guards. Looking between the Captain and Takeshi, he slowly moved forward as he pressed his fingers together, giving L’esta a nervous smile, “H-Hi again…ummm yeah, things happened and we need information”, he spoke, keeping his voice low before letting out a squeak, “Uhh n-not against you, that is! We need to know things like…like why the city doesn’t like you guys and why these things are happening. We want to help, but we don’t want to get the wrong people who are just in it because they were told to be in it…”

L'esta listened carefully to what Shu had for them, honestly a bit surprised that he had come to them for help. "I believe we might be able to help you out, so long as what you're asking is reasonable of course." The Captain motioned for the boys to follow him as he turned for the door, gesturing for his guards to make way for them as he approached. As the two large doors swung open he turned back once again to Shu and Takeshi, looking to the older boy in particular. "Your brother is trustworthy, but we do not know the same for you. I wish we could give you the benefit of the doubt, so expect an escort of guards at all times while in the city. It should go without saying as well, but when in the presence of the Queen be courteous, for your own good."

"You guys are acting like I'm here to attack the place," Takeshi said exasperatedly, that quip being rather ironic really. Putting his hands up once more he smiled, shaking his head with a small chuckle. "I'll be good, I promise. Believe it or not we are both here to help you, you won't have anything to worry about from me." Seriously, what had been said about him before that brought this on? If they did have an informant in the city maybe they had breathed word about his cooperation with the general, that might explain this unwarranted hostility. Or it could be normal. He had to wonder though what made these people the nicer ones, as so far he'd been threatened with swords and words alike.

"I should hope not. I would hate to imprison Shu's brother," the Captain replied, smiling slightly as he began his descent down into the city, the boys being led to follow suit. Shu would make the familiar trip down into the depths, likely not being nearly as bewildered as his brother at the sights. Behind them the door ground to a close, the natural light quickly fading as for a moment they were left in the dark. That was short lived though as lanterns quickly came on, illuminating the walkway down as they did before. "The Queen is having a rare day off from duties today, so you're in luck, she should be readily available to talk. I know Prince T'charrl will be happy to see you again as well, he's been rather eager about his new friends." Looking over at his shoulder at Shu L'esta chuckled softly, folding his hands behind his back. "The city has been abuzz about our new friends from above, the people seem rather excited we have some new allies in this struggle."

Shu was feeling pretty confident now, he knew the Captain as a friend so he was happy that he was still regarded as one even when he brought a complete stranger and a weapon to the city. He was quite happy to be back here, it was definitely a place he wanted to revisit multiple times and hopefully he able to make some more friends here too when he struggled to find any on his own planet. Looking to the doors quickly, his attention soon went back to the Captain as he smiled at him, watching him talk to Takeshi about behaving. It was reasonable, he didn’t expect anything different. Takeshi was responding well too, but he hoped he wouldn’t play around like that later on around the Queen or he might just end up flying across the room and into the wall. It was a little worrying, but he was fully confident and hoped that they might be able to find some answers.

Following the Captain, he looked around the city in wonder again just like he did before, finding it truly fascinating to see such a place once more. He wondered whether Takeshi found it at all interesting too, it should have been something he was interested in, surely. Looking to Takeshi just to see if he could see any sort of fascination in his eyes before he quickly looked back to the Captain, smiling, “Really? He is? I’d like to see him too! I wouldn’t mind asking him a few things too”, he said quickly, giving a nod, “We have even more helping us…but don’t tell everyone, because if someone bad found out then that would be very bad too. There’s just a few things we need to know first…I mean, before we try to find out anything…I don’t think we’re going to fight personally either…but I don’t know, what are we doing, anyway, Takeshi?”

L'esta was earnestly glad to see Shu back, as were the majority of the city's denizens. It had only been a short time since he'd been here and already a good bit of chatter had begun about the boy. It was no surprise then as they got into the bulk of the city that people were sending greetings his way, and even to his brother. "T'charrl spends much of his time busy with duties as I understand it, so he doesn't get to do very much. Having a friend like you is a nice change for the boy, so any time you can put aside for him I'm sure he'd appreciate." the Captain explained, smiling as he waved to a group of children who were shouting merrily on the side of the street. "I understand if you're busy though, especially with the matter at hand. Just please bear in mind he would like to spend some time with you whenever you can."

"We're finding someone who can help us figure out who we can trust," Takeshi explained simply, crossing his arms as he walked. "And no, we're not going to fight Shu. That'd be overkill and this isn't our war to fight in, we're just giving a little nudge to our friends, that's all." The entire matter still didn't make complete sense to him after all. What these sides seemed to be fighting over was the energy the planet gave off, though why they couldn't just share confused him. He also failed to understand why it was that the General needed to wipe these people out entirely to secure it, that seemed like overkill. "What's with the glow in the ceilings, by the way?" Takeshi asked, looking up as he spoke. "That looks like the same stuff that's firing out of those pillars..."

"That is the very same energy, you're right. Those veins are what it looks like when trapped in rock. It crystallizes but continues to flow, and at the same time the energy within the crystal gives off that light. I'd go into detail about it but that is beyond me, I'm only a soldier." L'esta chuckled to himself as they neared the palace, giving a shake of his head. "The bookworm of a doctor would be able to explain it if you're curious though. Good luck stomaching his banter for any longer than five minutes. There's a reason my personnel o their best not to get injured, it's so they don't have to face Renthal."

Takeshi didn't get a single word that the Captain had said, having no clue who this doctor was either. That energy was interesting, and the crystals seemed familiar somehow. He couldn't quite place it, but he had definitely seen that somewhere before on this world. Shaking his head of the thought he glanced up as they reached a rather impressive set of gates, feeling a bit excited to see what the big deal with this Queen was.

"Hey Shu...? I'm thinking you should do the talking here. Knowing my luck I'll say something that'll get us executed..." Takeshi mumbled, smiling sheepishly as he gave his brother a sidelong glance, "That means killed, if you didn't know. So... You do the talking."

During their brief conversation L'esta had waved down a royal guard and sent for the Prince to meet them. Seeing as he wasn't normally on duty in the palace he couldn't freely enter, a resident of the building would have to bring the boys in. "This is where I'll leave you for the time being, I'm not permitted inside just now. Best of luck to you both, and give the prince my regards, will you? I've got to get back to recon duty." Not sounding at all enthusiastic about that the Captain left the boys with a small bow, making his way back across the bridge into the city.

Shu did wonder how much the Prince had settled in again since coming back near death, but seeing the guy he would probably be straight back into the action while trying to fatten himself up again. He wondered how Takeshi would handle these people and whether they would warm up to him eventually as well. Listening to the two of them talk together, he looked around curiously at everything that sparked up his interests before, his mind still barely able to comprehend that they even existed. It was a very pretty world underground compared to what was up above, but even then it was still pretty on the surface. He was fair happy to be down here again, but he knew they were here for business and hopefully find a way to end the war that was only hurting people.

Speaking about the energy was quite interesting, he didn’t know where the energy was coming from but that was probably not too important if it was everywhere and blasting into the sky. It was strange, there had to be something living deep within the planet to be giving off that energy and all he could think of was the trees under the ground. Tilting his head slightly, he gave his head a scratch as he tried to figure it out himself before he gave a little bounce, turning to Takeshi a little as he waited for him to stop talking to the Captain, only for Takeshi to turn around and ask him something instead. Feeling a little confused, he looked to L’esta before back to Takeshi, giving a little nod, “O-Okay…I’m not very good at talking to other people, though,” he said quickly, giving his head a shake, “I’ll try! I’ve got things to ask! I do! Also other things I wanna ask…”

As L’esta asked for a guard and turned to speak to them, Shu gave a little nod, hiding his hands behind his back as his nerves peaked up again. He didn’t want anybody to get angry and the thought that they could get killed by their friends made him all the more nervous, so long as Takeshi was wrong about that, at least. Frowning a little, he watched as the Captain left them to the palace, his eyes going to Takeshi instead, “Umm, this should go okay…I –I mean, the Queen is nice, but she could easily hit us possibly…but hopefully she doesn’t. That’s not as bad as dying, is it…?”

Takeshi wasn't too sure how keen he was on being left to their own devices now. The Captain looked to be a friend of Shu's and could get them around fairly unhindered, but now they had to wait for someone else to come get them. Whilst standing at the gates he could feel the guards staring at them, doing his best not to tell them to buzz off. Instead he tried to focus his attention solely on Shu, listening carefully to what his brother had to say. "The Queen might hit us...?" he mused, looking puzzled for a second before slouching slightly. With an audible groan he put his hands on his head, razzling his hair in frustration. "Oh come on! I haven't even done anything and this woman wants to hit me? Why me?" Leave it to him to get walloped simply for being there. Sighing to himself Takeshi slumped his hands into his pockets, looking ahead at the main doors a bit uncertainly now. "No... It's definitely not as bad as dying. I wouldn't know though, never died." he joked lightly, hoping to ease both of their nerves a bit.

A short window passed until someone finally came to get the boys in the form of General Garesh. Like L'esta before him he was pleased to see Shu back though a little wary of the boy with him. Word had spread quickly enough that he was aware of who the other boy was, but like many others that only meant so much. "You're here to see my wife then?" the General asked, smiling as he stopped before the two Saiyans. Unlike before he was alone then, much to his relief, as having an entourage everywhere got awfully tiresome. "If you two are ready now I can bring you in to see her, she just finished her meal so with any luck she won't be quite as fiery as usual." Shu knew the Queen, but clearly his sibling didn't as he looked a touch worried over this. "Is something wrong?"

"Oh, no no nothing's wrong!" Takeshi answered hastily, smiling as he shook his head. "Just uh... Overwhelmed by all of this is all, sure is a nice city." He left out the fact that his past with women in any shape or form often led to his being hit. The fact alone this Queen of theirs frequently struck people had his head aching already in anticipation, he hoped that wouldn't come to pass. The General didn't seem completely convinced, but he smile and let it slide much to Takeshi's relief.

Garesh didn't quite know what to make of this boy, finding him even stranger than Shu. "Come along then. If your business is important then it's best we see to it at once, please follow me." Right into the palace this time, a perk of being with someone ranked higher. Rather than take a roundabout trip to the doctor's or some such the Saiyans were led directly to the throne room, up a flight of stairs and to the large set of doors at the top. Garesh grabbed the handles and with a heft pushed the doors wide open, exposing the chamber beyond, with his wife sitting at the far end and an advisor with her as well. "Eslaria? The boy is back with his brother, and they have a proposal for you."

"Oh do they now? So important that they felt the need to barge into my castle?" Eslaria called back, making her husband cringe slightly. Sighing she rose from her throne, dismissing her servant before walking down along the centre aisle. "I only just finished eating dear, you don't suppose this could have waited a moment?" Seeing the look on her husbands face and the hurry they had expressed getting here she figured it was important, or they thought so anyways. Coming to a halt a few meters from the trio she placed her hands on her hips, looking between the two boys expectantly. "Well, what is it? Speak up."

Shu smiled, giving a little nod, “She hit her son really hard and he was injured, but then she gave him a hug and everything seemed okay”, he said quickly, bouncing on his toes a little, “Maybe women hit you because you did something bad? I don’t do things bad, so I don’t get hit. At least…I don’t think I’ve done anything bad…have I done bad things?” Without much time to prepare or ask any more questions, sure enough the General appeared to which he gave a smile to. He hoped everything was okay, it was fairly good that they had finished dinner just before their arrival. He wouldn’t had wanted to intrude in the first place, especially when such an important question was going to be asked.

Looking to Takeshi as he spoke up before looking back to the General, he gave him a good nod before trying to look passed him just to see what was going on. The people here were fairly hard to see passed with their wings, he wanted to see if there was any guards that Takeshi could see that was making him sound a bit nervous about meeting them. When everything seemed fairly fine and they were able to go through, Shu followed on behind the General, tapping his fingers together nervously, “I hope this is okay…h-he’s my brother, is all because my friend is busy…”

Upon arrival, Shu noticed the Queen but didn’t quite know whether it was a good thing or bad thing now that they had come so soon, seeing as how she seemed a little annoyed. Withdrawing a little as she stood up, he watched her cautiously before squeaking a little when she demand they’d talk up. He still didn’t know whether he was the one who should be speaking in actuality when he was so scared of what might happen, “Uhhhm, uhh, w-well…we wanted to know if there was any information on what’s being going on up on the surface, because…well, we want to help find who’s responsible. We can freely move around on the surface so we thought we could help stop this war, we need to find who’s the corrupt one and why they want you dead…”

"You do something bad...? That'd be like father doing something good, so no." Takeshi replied, smiling slightly. "And I don't always do bad things. Hell, I don't know what I do half the time, they just hit me!" Even if he scarcely said anything he'd get smacked, usually courtesy of Yumi. It could just be her too, he wasn't sure. The prospect of a Queen who smacked even her own son though made him nervous, as he sure as sin wasn't going to hit back or mouth off to someone that important.

Garesh smiled at Shu kindly, nodding his head just outside the throne room. "It's perfectly fine. Just so long as you understand that he won't be given the same welcome you were initially we won't have any problems." Once they had entered the room the General called for his wife's attention, moving to the side of the aisle to leave the boys in view. "Remember your manners boys, and I can almost guarantee you'll be fine."

Eslaria gave Shu a funny look for a moment, hearing him out before sighing impatiently. "Young man, we have plenty of information about what's going on, you'll have to be more specific than that." It wasn't as if they were clueless to the situation at hand. Really the only thing they were lacking was the identity of the one they wanted, that was it. Once they found that out though they ought to be able to bring this mess to a close. "And someone wants me dead because I'm in their way, obviously," the Queen explained, hardly sounding at all discomforted by the topic. "They think if I'm killed they can do the same to my people. That's not going to happen though."

"Uh... Your Majesty?" Eyeing the Queen uncertainly Takeshi flinched slightly as she turned to look at him. So this is how Shu felt, being rather nervous while under scrutiny. "We were hoping you might have someone in the city to help us... An informant of sorts," he explained, smiling nervously. "If we can ask them about who is supporting the war we can narrow our search down, and finding this 'corrupt' one will be easier."

"So you came down to ask me to reveal an informant to you...?" Eslaria asked, leaning towards the older boy and glaring at him, to which he shirked back from. "You do realize if their identity gets out to the wrong hands they could die, don't you? I know your brother can be trusted, but I know nothing of you. Besides... Are you not the one who was working for the general in the city?"

"U-Uh... Well Y-Yes I was, but you see..." Takeshi began, cutting himself off with a yelp as he was knocked over the head, falling backwards and staring up at the cieling through stars. "Ow ow ow ow...!"

Eslaria wasn't terribly keen on this idea of theirs. If it went poorly then she'd lose a very valuable person in this war, that really could not be afforded. Crossing her arms impatiently she looked at Shu this time, cocking her head to the side slightly. "You, boy, can you promise my informant's safety if I tell you who they are? If things go poorly I need your word that you can keep them safe. Give me that and I'll tell you who they are and where to find them."

Shu didn’t know whether he had done good with speaking up like that, he half expected it to go terribly bad and completely throw everything off if he said one word wrong. From the sounds of it, the entire thing didn’t go completely as planned and it wasn’t going to be something so simple either. Letting out a sigh when the hardest part was over, he waited patiently for her to consider everything they had been told; however, it seemed to be that the idea that they’d find someone who might help had hesitation brought on by the fact that Takeshi was here. She knew what he had been doing, that was pretty unfortunate but maybe there was a workaround; of course, that ended in Takeshi stuttering and being slapped pretty hard for it. Letting out a gasp, Shu immediately turned back around to Eslaria, taking hold of his tail nervously. If he could convince her that they could do something good then everything should be alright, but from the sounds of it they wouldn’t need to look too far to find a way to convince her, “Really…? Yes, Queen Your Majesty!” he spoke quickly, giving his tail a squeeze, “I mean…we will. We got more friends to help us too…we’ll fix this before anyone will ever know…”

With the sound of a hard thump on the other side of a door, it gradually opened and through the door stumbled T’charrl. He looked like he had been rushing along and possibly fell over before arriving in the throne room, a crutch firmly in hand, “Friend! You’re back so soon…who’s this?” He didn’t know why Shu had decided to come back so quickly so it was certainly a surprise to see him here, he had only just finished eating his fill of dinner. While he wouldn’t recover from malnutrition straight away, being able to eat was his first step to recovery even if that step involved the assistance of a crutch. Stumbling along to see them, he looked to his mother before down at Shu’s fallen comrade, “What’s going on…? Why are you here so soon…?”

"You had best keep your word, little one. I would never risk my people otherwise, so don't let me down." If this should fail she would lose a lifelong friend and essential part of their defense against the military. Watching Takeshi collect himself the Queen let out a sigh, more in part to the doors opening as opposed to the Saiyan. Looking past the brothers she acknowledged her son with a small glance, wondering why he had come here when he should be resting. "They've come for information, T'charrl. Information that I have, you do not. Why are you running around on your crutch?" She was fairly certain she had told Renthal to keep him relaxed, not hustling about the castle. If it was to see Shu though she figured a little leniency should be allowed, even if only for a moment. "Just... Please sit down somewhere? I don't mind if you stay..." Eslaria looked at her husband, gesturing to their child impatiently. "Get him a chair will you? He shouldn't be standing."

Takeshi got up to his feet slowly now that attention wasn't focused on him. So this was that Prince that his brother had saved, huh? He didn't seem like anything special, then again neither did the queen. If anything the Queen was just scary. Watching the general fetch his son a chair from the side of the room the older boy went back to his brother's side, looking at the Queen awkwardly as she turned back to them. "We swear we won't let you down, Your Majesty. We want to bring this to an end too." What they really wanted was to help his squad so they could leave in good conscience, but one thing at a time.

"Don't let me regret this decision." Eslaria repeated, sighing to herself before putting all four hands on her hips. "You're looking for a man by the name of Katas. You'll find him in the largest building on the western section of the city, posing as a director of security. The building itself specializes in technology development for residential use, but that's superfluous detail. All you need to do is go to the front desk and ask for him by name, tell him his mother wants to give him a message." Seeing the surprised look on Takeshi's face Eslaria rolled her eyes, lifting a hand to smack her own forehead. "It's code you moron... I'm his mother when we relay information. Tell him that and you'll be able to speak with him about anything you might need. Just be sure his identity isn't compromised because of your idiocy."

"We'll make sure we're completely alone, don't worry." Takeshi swore. They definitely never would have known to do this on their own, it was a good thing they had stopped by. Katas, western section of the city, easy enough to remember. As far as he was concerned they were finished here, but Shu had mentioned wanting to bring up other things as well, so reluctantly Takeshi stayed put. "Shu...? Have anything else you want to say?"

T’charrl was fairly anxious, he didn’t know what was happening and sure enough he was looking to his mother, his under-arms grappling the crutch as he looked around, trying to keep his eyes averted from her in a mild show of respect, “I-I was just-…I was told my rescuer had returned and…I’m sorry, Mother”, he frowned, not wanting to anger his mother. He was well aware of how much respect she commanded and running in when he was obviously not fit enough to move, especially at that speed. Feeling a little surprised when she acted fairly calm about the situation and even asked his father to get him a chair, his eyes going to his father at first before back to his mother, “Mother, thank you…”

Shu smiled at T’charrl, feeling fairly happy to see him again. He was walking around and that was good enough for him, so long as he wasn’t bedridden or anything. Looking between his brother and the Queen, he really did hope that they could keep the alien safe and hidden because of the potential of losing friends in the meantime. Letting out a sigh as he gave a quick nod, he took in the information they required and gave a little nod, trying to work out everything in his head.

Smiling a little when Takeshi got told off, he swayed around a little before looking to Takeshi when he asked him a question, his eyes going to T’charrl before to the Queen nervously, “Umm, y-yes I do”, he spoke, lowering his head a little, “Queen Your Majesty, remember my friend who helped T’charrl? Umm, w-well…her and I were wondering, with your permission…that you allow some friends of ours parents to stay on your planet…?” he said, adding Yumi for mental support on even when she obviously didn’t like the other Saiyans, “You see, they’re going on the run from our father and this planet seems perfect for them. Our father isn’t very nice…and they’d be in big trouble if he could find them; he might kill them”.

"Just be careful T'charrl, please? I've been worrying about you even since you've arrived home, and now you're going to run about on crutches..." Eslaria mumbled, shaking her head with a sigh. "I love you my dear, but I swear you make me molt. Take things slowly, that's all I ask." Hardly having the time to play mother just now she looked back to the two boys, still rather wanting to know what it was they had in mind. The older one seemed useless to her, he was busy pissing himself rather than talking. At least Shu had some sense about him, and so it seemed that he would do the talking. "You wish for me to harbor fugitives from the Saiyan king? You do realize how much you've asked of me already, and now you want me to do something that could jeopardize the entire planet...?"

Eslaria let out a lengthy sigh, lifting her hands and rubbing at the side of her head to relieve stress. Of all the potential problems she would have to face did Saiyans really need to be one of them? Even without space travel of their own her people were well enough aware of just who those people were and what they did. Too focused on what she may have to face she nearly missed what Shu had said about their father. When two and two were put together the Queen looked up in silent surprise, blinking in disbelief. "You two are the Princes... Aren't you? The ones who ran away from the king?"

"We are, Your Majesty. We did run away... And we're trying to beat our father and stop him from hurting people. We can't do that just yet though, not when these people are in danger. It'd only be four people at the most." It didn't seem like that absurd of a request really. Four people on a massive world with plenty of resources to go around, it wasn't as if they were imposing. Plus it wasn't unreasonable that they could live on their own as well, away from Kaesstrians. Takeshi shifted his weight about on his feet uncertainly as the Queen seemed to mull it over, worried as quite a bit was riding on her answer.

"I suppose it's not as bad as I first thought it to be..." Eslaria mused, still thinking it through. Her city could feasibly play host to the parents, but then again she had another idea all together. "I suppose now is a good a time as any to explain my hopes for Kaesstra once this dispute is over with. I assume you've been told a bit about our history, knowing the Captain and his tongue. You'll understand then that rulers are chosen by the strongest tribe, yes?" Shu knew that, Takeshi did not, but she hardly cared. Those details were unimportant, what came next though was very much significant. "I'm tired of the old way, as are the other tribes. All it does is breed strife and disdain amongst our own people. Ruling by force works, but if we're to flourish across the entire planet then we have to be united."

It was a rather uncharacteristic idea coming from Eslaria, always proud and eager to show her tribe's prominence. Looking over at T'charrl the Queen smiled slightly, about to give him probably the biggest disappointment. "When I am done ruling you will not take my throne, my son. Not if this works. I wish to see our planet united under one great collection of tribes. We'll share responsibilities, and we'll share the world. No more fighting over power or resources, it will be one massive kingdom." Realizing she was derailing the conversation a bit Eslaria looked back to the brothers, ignoring the surprised look on her husband and no doubt her son's faces. "In order to realize this dream I need this war to end, and for that to happen I suppose I must grant sanctuary to these people. So be it. I'll find somewhere for those parents to take shelter, and in turn you'll bring this dispute to an end. Deal?"
