Shu gave Takeshi a little nod, smiling at him, “Ohhh okay! I get it, I think! How nice”, he said, just raring to find out more about this strange technique. While it was something Shu was definitely willing to learn about, maybe it was best not to learn about it just now when they had so much more they had to do today. Climbing up the stairs as he looked back at the city, he let out a sigh upon their departure, already missing the city and its pretty glowing things. He did hope that they’d come back to this planet sometime after they had left, he wondered how they would do that other than learning to do that thing Goku did to get them to the city over a year ago. Looking back to Takeshi, he gave a little nod, smiling, “I guess so! If there is bigger animals out here, don’t we need to travel further away from people? I wouldn’t want to live where big things could stomp me”. While the suggestion to find bigger creatures was definitely delightful, he figured they’d not be near the warzones and elsewhere, a migration away from the danger of sorts.

T’charrl smiled back at his father, giving his head a shake, “Father…you know I’m weak right now…” His father meant well, it was just a little hard to believe that he’d beat a General using his muscles and skills alone when he was already a troublemaker when it came to the fighting department. Letting out a sigh as everything moved off and away, he tried to turn around to look at his father as he talked some more. He knew conditions were harsh sometimes, but his confidence was still shot when it came to fighting with the strength of a true warrior right now. His father was trying to encourage him, but something he said made him question his father, “Wait…mother said I shouldn’t do this? You convinced her? Wow, you’re dedicated, huh?”

Feeling a little better already, T’charrl was thankful to feel the ground under his feet again and took hold of his crutch, leaning on it as he looked up to his father. He should be fine to lift a sword, especially one made of wood. Watching as his father made a dash to get the weapons, he tilted his head as he tried to make a peak to see if he was managing alright with the barrel before he pushed himself up off his crutch, keeping it held close just to try and prepare himself. He’d probably be able to keep a hold of the crutch in one of his hands, he did have plenty of free hands to spare after all. Taking hold of the sword carefully, he stared at it for a moment before giving a nod, “I’ll use the crutch at first for balance, then I’ll probably try without if that’s okay”, he said before giving a little laugh, “I’ll try not to, she’ll probably kill me as well for getting hurt”.

Takeshi figured something sizable had to be out here. With forests as big as these and that many animals running around it only made sense. Granted, their first hunting trip hadn't show much more than things the size of a dog, but they'd hardly explored that much area by then. Focusing more on his food than his future as a second-rate art tutor the Saiyan nodded in agreement with his brother. "Sounds good to me. We're a pretty good ways from the city already, so we just have to get away from here then..." Humming in thought Takeshi turned around a bit and glanced around the area. If they went straight they went back towards the city, so by that logic they had to go right or left. Since they'd take a right to get to the city as well the only option that was left was... Left. "Come on, this way!" he declared, pointing in the direction before marching off. "We'll bring something back so huge we'll have leftovers for tomorrow! Probably not as big as that sea monster, but still big!"

"It wasn't easy, believe me," Garesh laughed, giving the back of his head a rub. "She was ready to bite my head off when I first suggested it. But I figure if you do nothing while healing you'll fall out of pace, so best to keep you training." Even the best of soldiers could get rusty if they neglected training for too long. Plenty of good fighters had become as reliable as trainees in time of peace, he'd seen it happen dozens of times. While this new proposed government by his wife probably wouldn't require combat prowess it certainly couldn't hurt, certainly not too when there was bound to be opposition. Once he had fetched their training weapons Garesh tossed T'charrl his, carefully undoing the harness that held his real sword before setting it against the tree. Holding the sword in just one hand the General smiled, resting the sword on his shoulder. "Try whatever you're comfortable with," Garesh replied, pausing and laughing as he mused about his wife getting angry. "She loves you, she won't kill you. I'm perfectly liable to get smacked around though. Now come on, let's get this underway."

Shu was fair happy to be out and about, but he had no idea how he was supposed to take the fact that they had to go hunting again before they actually found food. He wouldn’t had minded if someone else had gone out to hunt like what happened in his tribe, he was just feeling a little worn down after not getting enough sleep and getting to see his friends. If they could find something that was reasonable for them all then that would be great, it would be definitely help him a lot. Looking up at Takeshi, he nodded and quickly followed on after him, looking back to the city’s hole in the ground before looking up to Takeshi. From the sound of it, Takeshi had the same idea to find something big instead of searching for everything that was little that they had found previously, “Really?? Ooohh, what if the people get mad if we leave a dead thing lying around…? Where will we put it? Will we put it in the ship? Is the ship okay? Maybe it’s lonely out there…”

T’charrl gave his father a nervous smile at his words, not entirely sure what he should make of it to begin with. He didn’t know whether he should agree with his father or take in his mother’s concerns, especially when it was him who was going to be subjected to the torture that was training while injured and weak. Managing to grab the sword as it was tossed to him, he leaned on his crutch as he got ready to train. It was pretty odd having to train under these conditions, but what was probably the most awkward part of needing to train was knowing that his father knew what he was truly capable of. He didn’t want to use his abilities on his father, he wanted to go through the usual route of using his own physical prowess to show he was fully capable. Raising his sword, he pushed himself forward and tried to attack his father, his crutch pressing into the ground to try and balance himself, “Uhhh…father? I’ve gotta ask…umm, a-are you like mother when it comes to…you know, knowing what I can do…? You know, how I can do certain things…”

Takeshi really wouldn't have minded if they knew just what to look for to eat on this planet. In hindsight he yet again should have asked, the Queen or one of the others could have likely given them some idea. Their first hunting trip hadn't gone too poorly though, they'd brought in a decent haul and their meal had been tasty enough, just now they had more mouths and that wouldn't quite cut it. Having a plan completely bank on finding one thing big enough to feed them wasn't exactly that reliable either. Making no effort to hide his discouragement with a groan Takeshi turned back to his brother, curious what he had to say. "So what should we do, not kill something?" he asked, "Either we hunt or we just find fruit again. Really at this point I could eat my boot, so I don't care." As if on cue his stomach rumbled, getting another groan from the Saiyan as he placed his hands on his belly. "Or... We can go ahead and go back home. What about that rock you had? We could pawn that off I guess?"

"Just come at me as you can and we'll go from there," Garesh repeated, smiling as his son began to advance. He knew fully well of course that T'charrl was not in full health, but if he was so keen on being a warrior he'd best get used to fighting tired. Raising an arm to block an incoming strike the General's interest rose when his son brought up his power. "Like mother? What do you mean, that you should hide it?" he asked, parrying another swing easily enough. "I think it's unique and, if you can talk to the planet and the dead, should be shared. There's a lot we can learn from it. Your mother is right though, its not going to be that way with everyone. You'll have people who will fear you, and that's the reason she's asking you to hide it. To keep you safe from them." So long as there were people who did not understand his son there would be fear. It was only normal, unfortunately. "Do you wish to show me what you can do?"

Shu knew he would eventually need to learn more about planets before he went off on searches like this, he might end up killing an animal that was actually considered special or very rare, making people angry in the process. He wasn’t sure what was considered rare and what was common and easy to get, but the guessing game was definitely all they could do here until they actually found out more about the planet. He didn’t feel too fussed about meat, he preferred fruit while it was just the others who didn’t. Yawning a little as he headed on after Takeshi, he looked up to him curiously, “Why would you eat a boot over fruit…? I don’t have boots, so I don’t want to eat them as bad as you do”, he spoke, shaking his head a little, “I would never eat something that’s been on my foot…” Contemplating for a few moments, when Takeshi started talking again he looked up curiously tilting his head a little, “Ooh? Home…? Ooh! Yeah! Pawn…? What’s that? Maybe Yumi did that since she was stuck in the house…”

T’charrl was fair throwing a few hits in here and there, his crutch sometimes wiggling unevenly when he misplaced its stand. He was trying and wasn’t letting his doubts and weakness stop him, but it was still awfully difficult and he couldn’t throw in a decent enough shot. Throwing his fair few shots at his father, his mind concentrating more on balancing, he looked up at his father and frowned, coming to a halt for a moment. He had hid it for a long enough time and to have it known like this made him feel rather anxious and almost a little happier. Staring at his father as he spoke, he smiled a little before looking away, feeling a little conflicted. Despite his father thinking such a thing, he still couldn’t see how anyone would want to know about such a thing. He had been told before by someone that he had to seek an answer like everyone else, but he didn’t even know what that meant. Looking back to his father, he let out a sigh, shaking his head a little, “I really don’t know, I didn’t even think I had energy to find their dead friend”, he spoke, raising his sword again, “Besides, I’ve never used them on a living being before, even animals have been spared. I, umm, used the targets when nobody was around…and why some of them were burnt or badly ripped…”

"It's a figure of speech, I wouldn't really eat a boot. Definitely not mine, my feet reek. And you could always eat one of your feet," Takeshi mused, grinning as he gave Shu's shoulder and gently push, "You could just replace it with your tail, you use it for everything else anyways." Talking about eating only further reinforced the notion that he was feeling hungry, as his stomach was so keen on reminding him constantly. When the notion of buying more food instead of hunting came up the older boy turned back towards the city, folding his hands behind his head as he and Shu started back. "Pawn means sell, kind of. And if she sold it already then that's fine, we can get food when we get home then." It would end up only being fruit then, which was good enough. Humming to himself a thought crossed his mind, making Takeshi grin impishly. Stalling in step the Saiyan spun around and grabbed his brother's sides, chuckling as he tried to lift him up onto his shoulders. "Come here you!"

Garesh had a rather easy time keeping up with his son who was clearly hindered by his injuries. He didn't expect a genuine match out of this, and T'charrl was showing a bit of heart by at least trying. When conversation was struck up there was a pause in the duel, the General laying the sword over his shoulder again. "Whose dead friend...? I'm not following who you're talking about." It was fairly vague, and frankly he wasn't too certain he wanted to know what or who was being discussed. Opening his mouth to try and push a demonstration he quickly closed it when target practice was brought up. Burning and ripping weren't quite what Garesh had in mind for today, and on that note he'd back off. "On second thought... I'll just stay curious for now," the General chuckled, scratching at the side of his head sheepishly. "Still want to spar?"

Shu was barely understanding, he didn’t get why anybody would want to talk about eating a boot. Tilting his head a little, he smiled at Takeshi to try and understand him better before he let out a squeak as he pushed a little, “Eww nooo! I groom my tail, you probably don’t groom at all!” he smiled cheekily, holding his tail behind his back. Shu did hope that Yumi did get them some food, he’d love some that he didn’t need to catch unless it involved catching fruit falling out of trees. He didn’t think fruit was something he’d want to replace with meat, but meat was still pretty filling and wouldn’t dump it just because there was fruit on the menu. Bouncing a little in his steps, he watched Takeshi carefully as he spoke, tilting his head as he tried to come to an understanding, “Ooohhh…home, home…?” he questioned, thinking it through. He didn’t see the house as ‘home’, but then again he was sure enough struggling to see Earth as ‘home’. He was just on a continuous adventure right now, he didn’t see anywhere as a home. Thinking about it for a moment , he was suddenly pulled immediately out of that thought process as Takeshi whisked him off his feet, “Aaahh! No! Noooo!” he squealed, laughing away as he was placed upon Takeshi’s shoulders, “I was having many deep thoughts! I don’t often think in the deep end…”

T’charrl didn’t know how to respond to his father when he questioned his spirit pals, feeling that he shouldn’t speak of them too much. He didn’t want to betray anyone by talking about them too much, especially when the others couldn’t see them. Looking away a little, he spun the sword around in his hand a little, frowning a little before he looked to his father again, “Maybe we shouldn’t talk about them…I mean, people are already freaked out when someone talks to themselves…” Moving his sword up again into a ready position, he stared at his father before giving a quick nod, “Yeah…yeah, I still want to spar. I’m not letting myself to get distracted, I swear”, he spoke quickly before immediately going into attack his father again, smiling a little, “I swear I won’t do that much now, I’ve got a feeling people are already a little bit suspicious about it…”

A lot had happened yesterday, that was for sure. From meeting the other half of the Kaesstrian race to reuniting with some old friends life was pretty busy for a supposed "escape" from it all. It hadn't been pretty initially, there was some conflict between the groups members as was to be expected. After some initial venting though everyone was able to be civil with one another, enough so anyways that no one had to worry while they slept. Dinner the night of had been a little tense, but eventually conversation broke out and the atmosphere lightened up a little. Thanks to that rock they had been given, which turned out just to be a fancy gem, everyone had their fill and then some. After that and a fair bit of debate rooms were picked and everyone made their way to bed. Tomorrow would be the busiest day yet, so everyone was certain to get some rest.

At the crack of dawn the group woke up, one by one filing into the kitchen for some leftover food as breakfast. Since there was little else to do really most of them would stay in the house today until matters were seen to. Shu and Takeshi however would be looking into the leads given to them by the Queen, as soon as they'd gotten some more food in their stomachs. Once their apetites were sated the brothers left the house once more, this time heading into the heart of the city in search of Katas.

"So a big white building on the... West side of town..." Takeshi mumbled to himself. "Nice directions if it wasn't for the fact every building is white. How should we know what ones to look into?" They all looked the same, sans for their sizes. There were small and large structures, though neither seemed to be the right one. Given they still had to go a ways to get into the western section of the city, but he figured if it was large enough to stand out they could spot it from here. Clearly not being the case Takeshi zipped his trap and kept walking, also a little bothered at how much of that they had to do on this world. Every single Kaesstrian could fly, just because they didn't meant they shouldn't? It was silly, but a handful of annoyances was making him grumpy this morning, and now that they had to go play on a political roundabout he wasn't feeling too keen. "What was the guy's name again...? Oh crap... Kato?"

Despite the difficulties of being accepted by people who you tried to kidnap with one successfully, the twins were still trying to fit in as much as they could without fearing that they might be stabbed in the middle of the night. Coming from a family who were bound to kitchen duties, they did try to help out in the kitchen with cooking the food much to Yumi’s reluctance to have anything to do with them, but there was no doubt that the twins were great chefs and knew their way around the kitchen. With the next day rolling around and tensions probably not as bad as they could had been, their biggest concern being over their father. It was going to be a tough day, one that would require quite a bit of waiting just for an answer.

Viral still didn’t want to eat or talk to people much, but he was recovering fairly well considering what he was like not too long ago. It seemed the cells were working for the most part, he was still weak in strength and stamina with his visions and memories taking over his previous enjoyment over eating. He didn’t much want to be around the others, it was just annoying to be around anyone now. He wanted to remain outside for now, relaxing out in the sun with little worries when compared to the Saiyans.

Shu was a little nervous about all of this, he knew the dangers of going to this alien and knew they’d be killed if somebody knew they wanted him. Frowning a little as he moved along with his head down low, he nodded slightly when Takeshi spoke before looking up to him. There was definitely a few things that bothered Shu about all this, but hopefully things would go okay and Takeshi would know what to do; however, after hearing him stumble on his words a little Shu got a bit panicky, staring at Takeshi, “You don’t remember…? Oooh, maybe this was a bad idea, I don’t want them getting killed because of that”, he frowned, shaking his head, “M-Maybe we should find out our own way?? Do you even remember what she told us to say when we got to the building…?”

"No! I do remember who they are!" Takeshi remarked defensively, frowning as he gave his head a scratch. "It's on the tip of my tongue... Kat... Katcho? No... Aw crap..." They were heading to the right part of the city, that much he knew. He even was sure of the building they needed, just not the name of the person. Stopping in his step he sighed as Shu showed a fair bit of concern over the matter, and for good reason too. "I remember exactly what she told us; "Your mother has a message for you," or... Something like that. We just need to find the right guy, head of security or whatever." Growling in frustration Takeshi razzled his own hair before starting to walk again, his hands in his pockets per usual. "I'll remember it, I know it started with a 'K'. Have a little faith in me buddy, will you?" Besides, Shu didn't know either by the sounds of it, so it wasn't his fault for forgetting it. Maybe writing down the name would have been a good idea in retrospect.

Kabocha was still in the kitchen despite breakfast having ended already, busy at washing dishes. How degrading, he never had to do this before and yet now he was stuck at the sink, with Yumi no less. The twins had helped cook so everyone argued that it was only fair he pitch in too. Cleaning the yard would have been nice, but instead he was put into this pseudo-prison sentence. Sighing as he set another plate in the strainer the Saiyan glanced over at Yumi, curious as she hadn't said a single word the entire time. Of course as soon as he glanced over so did she, getting an awkward stare and then a glare that made him shirk away. "What...?" Kabocha mumbled, taking another plate and beginning to scrub it. "What am I getting that look for?"

"Because you're a jerk?" Yumi replied, hardly trying to edit what she had on her mind. Getting a confused look the Beastman rolled her eyes, setting down her plate and looking at it contemplatingly, brow pulling together. "It's not even what you did. You run your mouth and butt heads with everyone here, and it's annoying. Plus we're going out of our way to help your family and we've not gotten so much of a thank you. The twins said it, are you just waiting to?"

"I never asked you to save my folks, for starters. So I have to thank you because Takeshi offered to do something for us? And it's not my fault you all are so... Crap, I don't even know what to call it." Kabocha set his plate in the strainer and dried off his hands, ignoring the glaring that he was getting from Yumi again. "And where is this coming from anyways? I haven't said a single thing all this time and now you're tearing into me? How about you back off and try giving us some space for a change?"

"Oh right, let me give more freedom to the three guys who could just stab us in the back!" Yumi shouted back, dropping her plate in the sink and throwing her damp towel at Kabocha's head. "You're our guest, so how about not acting like such a jerk? During breakfast you and Vegeta nearly got into it, and I saw you giving Viral looks too. Just... Just piss off somewhere will you? We have enough to worry about without some spoiled brat with a behavior problem causing fights!" Throwing her hands up in the air Yumi turned and stormed out, leaving an angry and fairly confused Kabocha stranded in the kitchen.

Shu didn’t know what they would do if Takeshi couldn’t remember the name, it was probably the worst thing to happen right now when they were so close to knowing more. They were suddenly very far away from knowing more, probably no further than where they were yesterday. Letting out a sigh and lowering his head, he too tried to remember what their name was and what they had to say to get him to respond. It was pretty hard when he was stressed out, like he wanted to run away and up a tree to escape his troubles. Maybe they should had asked someone to repeat it before they left, just to refresh their memories, “What do we do…? It’s hard having faith when all you hear is bad news and I don’t want the guy to die just because we’re curious…a-and what if we ask it wrong?? What happens then? Do we never find out? How do we find someone we don’t know about?”

The twins had just been relaxing in the living area while Yumi and Kabocha cleaned up, having done their share for now until they were bribed with guilt into doing something else. It was fairly exhausting when they had been running on fumes last night, but this morning was a lot easier and everything was prepared without a thing burned. Sitting in silence with nerves running through both the boys, the moment voices could be heard from the kitchen Choi perked up a little. Kai continued to ignore it, he didn’t want any part in whatever was discussed when it was just Yumi and Kabocha in there. It was hard enough when Vegeta was still lingering, but thankfully Viral was outside so they didn’t have to worry about him right now.

With the voices getting a little louder, Kai eventually turned to look but just let out a sigh, looking away again and tried to encourage Choi to as well. With the sound of Yumi becoming fairly angry and eventually shouting right back at him, Choi immediately looked away until Yumi had left in a rage, not wanting to even look at her until she had her back turned to them. Grinning a little at his brother, Choi eventually stood up and crept over to the kitchen, peering in at Kabocha, “…You really have trouble with women, don’t you?” he commented, shaking his head, “When will you learn to just not talk to them? Let them talk to you! Unless they think you don’t like women, then dang…”

For the life of him Takeshi couldn't remember this guy's name, dig as he might. They knew the position he was in, where to find him for the most part, but that one fact eluded both boys. Of all the times too, just when they were likely approaching the building. Trying to build confidence regardless that was put on an abrupt halt as Shu spoke up again, his own concerns mirroring his brother's. "He won't die, we'll be careful. Besides, we remember what to say to him, kind of." Takeshi replied, groaning as he smacked his forehead. "Look, it'll work out somehow. And we know where to find him, so let's focus on that, yeah? We were told the largest building in the western section of the city. Well, we've gone west, so we've got to be close." It would be so much simpler if he could just fly, but to spare the denizens from a little fright they were bound to walking for the time being. What's more they couldn't ask for directions, lest someone become curious as to why off-worlders were seeking out the head of a security department.

By some miracle it looked like their worries were being washed away. As the brothers walked on they would see the buildings begin to reduce in size, looking more like houses and small shops. Compared to the apartment blocs they were used to this was a promising sign, and so was the angled building looming ahead over the smaller structures. It was like half of a trapezoid, the sides completely made of panes of glass that reflected the outside, the rest of the building the same stone-washed white. As they moved down along the main street Takeshi made note of a large red symbol on the front, assuming that had to be important somehow. Even if it wasn't the right building it was a good start, maybe they could ask for directions. "Hey... Look over there..." the older boy whispered, nudging Shu and pointing to the building. "Think that might be it? It's definitely the biggest one here, and that glass makes me think they're not wanting people to see what's going on inside."

Kabocha really had no clue what made Yumi go off on him, though he could guess it was in part due to her disdain of him and the twins. Not his fault, he thought grumpily while washing the last dish, they were just following orders. Sure it sucked what happened to her, but it would have sucked too for their parents to be killed. She was alive, and now with her friends again, so what did she have to be so pissed about? Just as he was setting the last dish away he heard the twins come into the room, spinning to greet them with a grateful smile that quickly faded as Choi spoke. "Oh sod off, I like girls and you know it!" Kabocha retorted sharply, getting red in the face as he tossed his own rag aside and stormed over to the twins. "Besides, she's crazy I swear, not my fault we argued." Narrowing his eyes slightly he prodded Choi in the chest, smirking mischeviously. "If you think you've got such a way with women then you go talk to her, I dare you."

Shu wanted to go back instead, he didn’t feel comfortable letting this happen and definitely couldn’t find himself responsible for letting someone die as well. He tried to have faith in his brother, but it was often quite hard having faith in another when it was so easy to have things go horribly wrong and out of their control. Letting out a sigh, he looked away, lowering his head for a moment before looking back up at Takeshi, “How do you know which way’s West? Is it the same as Earth? How do you know? How do you tell these things…?” he asked up, not entirely sure how this planet worked. Lowering his head a little as they walked on, his eyes turned to the houses and the people that wandered around them, his mind on wondering just where they were going and what their lives were like. He had nothing else to think about while they headed over there, so he’d be nosy instead. Perking up a little when Takeshi spoke again, he looked off to the building, giving it a little staring at before looking up at Takeshi, “But I can see through glass, can you not see through glass? If we got closer, we could probably see through the glass…”

Choi thought it was pretty funny that Kabocha had such trouble with girls all the time, it was always the case that he’d end up getting completely denied by them and he had no idea how or why. If he actually got a clue to when and how he should be talking to girls then maybe he’d do better, especially against ones that hated his guts right now. Grinning a little as he spoke, he slowly stood up straight and leaned against the frame. Watching as Kabocha wandered over to him and gave him a hard poke, he looked down to his finger and raised an eyebrow, looking back up at him, “What’s that? A challenge?” he asked him, folding his arms a little, “Well fine! I’ll probably get it slightly better than you, maybe…” Turning around, he immediately set off to try and find Yumi, being a little quiet about his moving around just incase it came out as stomping around instead.

"Well... I don't know if it's the same. But I tell by the direction the sun moves, and if it IS the same then this is West." Takeshi explained, trying to sound confident. Either way this looked to be the right place, and if not they could always double back and go in the other direction. If they had any clue where abouts their temporary house was located then maybe they would have a bit more of an idea on the matter. The building was slowly coming into view more as they approached it, as did the finely trimmed grass and bushes surrounding the property. It looked pretty, even if there really wasn't any color sans green. Sightseeing wasn't on the agenda, so Takeshi led the way around to try and find the front of the building. Just around the corner was the spot they wanted, but it was being guarded by two men in imposing looking outfits. Mumbling 'crap' under his breath he wondered just how they were going to get inside. "See through the glass?" he repeated, not taking his eyes off the guards. Sighing he stepped back behind the bush, crossing his arms as he looked at Shu. "If you want to try peeking through the glass then go ahead. I wonder if those guys will let us in if we asked..."

Stupid boys, why did they have to be here? Yumi was perfectly content with just being with her friends again, and now because they had some shared past with the boys suddenly these creeps were living with them. Unable to stomach Kabocha any longer she had gone out to the back yard, making a bee-line for one of the trees on the edge of the property and leaping up into the lowest branch. Hopefully those morons stayed inside, Vegeta and Viral could babysit for a while. Tucking one of her legs up Yumi leaned back against the trunk, wrapping her arms around her knee as her free leg dangled over the side. Nothing had been said about what these boys intended to do once their families were saved, whether they would stay here or try to follow Takeshi and Shu around. If the latter were the case she just may as well go back to Earth, even if by herself. Roused from her thoughts when the sound of a door opening distracted her Yumi looked down expecting to see Vegeta or Viral, instead a little confused when Choi was the one coming out. "What do you want?"

Shu had no idea whether it was the building or whether they actually did head West or just guessed that the sun moved in that particular direction across the sky, it was all just an assumption. Frowning a little as he walked on after Takeshi, he stared up at the building hoping that they’d be able to figure out the name and what they had to say to the guy to get him to talk. He didn’t want to go in there and simply guess, it wasn’t as if they were in any sort of rush quite yet. Looking to the glass, his eyes soon turned to the guards, his head tilting a little before looking up to Takeshi, “Ooh! What do we do…?” he asked, lowering his voice a little, “I don’t want to sneak around if they’re supposed to be okay with us…are they okay with us…? They’re not evil, are they? Or are they…uhhh, I don’t like the chances. Maybe we should come back sometime again, try and remember what we need to say…”

Choi was being pretty cautious about it, he knew it was probably a bad idea that he had been told to talk to her and it was definitely not something he was completely prepared for either, but he would still give it a try and see if he could maybe talk her into listening to him and understand what he had to say. He had to play it right, he couldn’t let Kabocha be the guy who was right. Looking around for her as he made it outside, he sure enough found where Yumi was and gradually approached her, perking up a little when she spoke. Staring at her for a moment, he let out a sigh and practically shuffled his way over, pressing his fingers together, “Uhh, look…I just wanted to apologise for what we did…or rather, what we were forced into doing”, he spoke, scratching through his long shaggy hair, “At least you’ve got friends to help you while we had to practically beg Takeshi to remember to save us…uhh, you know, from enslavement ourselves. I don’t even know what freedom tastes like”.

"Leave now? Are you crazy?" Takeshi replied, frowning at the idea. "We've just found the place, we can't just walk away. If they don't let us in then we find another way in, yeah? Easy enough. I bet there's a sky light or something on the roof we could use..." Being sneaky like this was still annoying as ever, it just wasn't his style. Even being upfront about it was a pain with Shu being so nervous, it would be difficult to keep him settled and be discreet. Sighing to himself the older boy looked between the entrance and windows, vying for their best bet of getting inside. If they asked and were told no then the windows might be their only chance. If this was the right place though and they broke in, well that was just as bad. Takeshi looked back to Shu, smiling gently as he offered his little brother a hand. "Come on, let's just ask them, okay? If it's the wrong place then we'll try again. Besides, we're not from here, so if we get the guy's name wrong then I doubt they'll think anything of it."

Yumi was hardly keen to have one of the twins out with her. The fact that it had to be Choi, probably the most passive aggressive of the three was only worse, he drove her nuts. Sighing softly to herself when he apologized the Beastman dropped out of the tree, landing in front of the Saiyan and giving him a stern look. "So what, I'm supposed to feel sorry for you?" she asked, crossing her arms over her chest. "Apologizing doesn't change anything, what's done is done. So don't waste your breath trying. And if you should apologize to anyone, it's the boys. They just want to get home, and instead they're being caught up in all of this, including saving you, because they feel they have a part in it. I'm just here to help them." Choi could say what he wanted but nothing was going to get Yumi to like him. Recognizing that he was trying to mend old wounds though she lightened up, if only just. Managing a meager smile she looked away from the Saiyan, lifting a hand to itch at her ear idly. "It's about time one of you said something to me though, so thanks, I guess."

Shu looked up to the roof, trying to see if he could even see anything peeking over the edge, “But…these people can fly, right?” he questioned him, looking to him curiously, “Don’t you think there would be someone up there…?” It was all fairly dodgy, he couldn’t really see himself as being someone who would sneak in somewhere like this. He had to trust Takeshi, but he was still fairly nervous and definitely didn’t want anyone to die. Taking in a deep breath, he squeaked a little and looked to Takeshi’s hand, hesitating a moment before taking hold of it, “Okay…okay, I’ll keep quiet when you do this, okay…?” he spoke, staring up at him a little nervously, “I trust you, I hope this all goes well…”

Choi had no idea whether he was going to be successful or not, it was hard to tell when it was Yumi and she had obviously displayed that she was pretty hot tempered. Frowning for a moment as she spoke, he kept his distance as he tried to keep his eyes fixated on her to not show defiance or trickery. He wasn’t tricking her, he was being honest and showing Kabocha how to please the girl so maybe he might actually be able to find someone instead of everyone thinking he wasn’t interested in them. Quickly lowering his hands again when things were gradually getting better, Choi shrugged a little before letting out a sigh, grabbing hold of his tail and swirled it around in his fingers, “His father would still come after him if he went back to Earth, I don’t think it’s us who are holding him up from going home”, he frowned, looking away, “But…no problem! I mean, Kabocha’s just an idiot, but he means well sometimes. He’s just a bit selfish, sometimes. But…I gotta say, you saved me and my brother too without knowing it. We wouldn’t had been changed, they would had gone through some intense brain exploration with us to try and find out how we connect with each other. I don’t know how to thank you properly or how to ever repay you”.

Takeshi knew they were basically giving themselves to the mercy of chance, but what other option did they have? Maybe they themselves had no clock to do this on, but the longer they took the more danger his squad's parents would find themselves in. Plus if this war on Kaesstra really went into high gear then lives would be lost, and that was plaguing his mind as well. "You and I both Shu," he mumbled, taking his brother's hand and walking right up to the main doors. Already they were getting looks from the two guards, making this already uneasy venture about ten times worse. On reflex Takeshi eased his sibling to be behind him just a bit, looking up at the larger Kaesstrians when they were motioned to stop. They were big, burly brutes of men, a fair bit more muscled than their usual counterparts. Definitely security, no doubt. "Uh... Hi. We're here to talk to... Uh..." Oh crap, he still didn't know their name.

"You're the kids the military's got running around, huh?" one of the guards asked. These two were odd ones, playing lap dog to the general. Why anyone would want to become involved with their war was beyond him. Looking at his partner curiously for a second the guard sighed, adjusting the holster on his hip and scrutinizing the two brothers. "Who are you here to see? This isn't a tourist site, it's private property."

"We know, but we were asked to come here..." Takeshi lied, cringing more than he'd have liked to when glared at. "The uh... General asked us to come speak to the man in charge here. He needs to talk to him, so we're coming to tell him that." Definitely not the best lie in the world and easily found out, maybe they should just turn tail now.
The guards kept silent for a moment, looking between the brothers before one disappeared inside for a moment. The one left outside placed himself in front of both doors, a hand resting on his holster. "He's going to check if Mr. Katas has any appointments today, so he'll be right back. You kids just wait right there, got it?" They then fell into an awkward silence, no one really having much to say while they waited on the other man to return. After what seemed like an hour the second guard came out and whispered something to his cohort before looking at the boys.

"Mr. Katas doesn't have you in his books, but he's been wanting to meet you. Go on in, take the elevator up to the third floor and he's in the room at the end of the hall."
"Right... Thanks sir!" Takeshi said, hastily bowing as the guards moved out of the way. With a nervous smile he pulled Shu along with him, stepping through the parting doors into the belly of the building. They were immediately greeted by a woman at a counter, recognized and ushered along to the elevators off to the side of the room. Wasting no time the Saiyan brought himself and his brother to the lift, stepping inside once the doors opened and seeming to stop breathing until they closed again. "Holy crap... I thought we were screwed for a second..."

"An idiot that means well? Hardly the first time I've ever met one of those..." Yumi mumbled, smiling slightly. Brushing a bit of hair back from her eyes she sighed, looking at Choi for a moment before walking over to the same tree, leaning up against it and folding her arms over her chest. Being told that she had saved the twins was a bit confusing, she really didn't see how. "I did that?" she asked, giving Choi a funny look before shaking her head. "I didn't do anything to help you, you shouldn't be thanking me. Between us though I'm willing to let bygones be bygones for now, we've got enough to deal with. Plus you're really not that bad of a guy compared to the others." Giving the Saiyan a thoughtful look Yumi's lips curled into a smirk when she spotted Kabocha peeking through the blinds of the kitchen window, pushing away from the tree and walking over to Choi. "Besides..." she said softly, stopping in front of the boy and poking his chest. "You're kind of cute." It was a bold faced lie, but she'd sell it for all it was worth if only to mess with Kabocha.
