The everlasting war between between the gods let people suffer for centuries. Hordes of monsters, mindless minions, dragons and many other of the most horibble creatures in existence was only part of the chaotic sight that one could see through the devastated land of Rozerfast. What saved the world from its impending doom was the intervention of Bezel, the God of Balance, who sacrificed his life, sealing the Gods' powers into his own heart, then locking it away.
Prosperity followed the end of the war, but it was short-lived. Half a century later, the dark wizard, Mongrel, released the Gods' powers once again, signaling the beginning of a new war. The only hope humanity has, is to retrieve Bezel's heart and resurrect him in order to stop the war.
Many warriors tried to fulfill this quest, but to no avail. People started to wonder if there was any chance of survival at all. Would there be someone to save the world, or the end was imminent?
Hidden in the forest, there is the small town of Grevstone, a place where many warriors rest between the travels, sometime even deciding to spend the rest of their lives there. In the small, smelly inn of the town, you can find some of the bravest warriors, sorcerors with untapped potential, young street thieves and even people who aspire to be heroes. This is where a heroic journey begins and a legend is born....
This is a medieval RP based on the D&D races and classes and where I will be getting most of the ideas for the monsters, enemies etc.
Rules:
1. No godmodding or metagaming. This includes autohitting and autododging. (Fighting between the characters is something I dislike, but it allowed, as long as both parties engage. In any other case, I will interfere.
2. No one-liners and speed-posting. Especially in a D&D RP the actions of all the players are nescessary, since they will affect the flow of the story, so let everyone post.
3. In order for rule No2 to apply normally, if any player inexplicably goes missing for a couple of days, I reserve the right to use said player's character for the story to progress.
4. You can have one character per player, so one of your players does not favor another. I don't want you to have a fighter and a healer together...You get my point.
5. Romance is mature, but please don't go overboard.
6. Me being GM does not mean in any case that I will indicate your Roleplay, as long as you are following the above, simple rules. I want to have a fun campaign, I am not a dictator or something.
Note: I am going to be entirely GMing in this story, so I will not have a character on my own. All the characters I will handle will be NPC that either help with, or hinder your journey.
Let's have fun!! :D
