"Disease and nightmare could be used to inflict fear or given the right disease pain on someone. Secrets can actually be used to tell if someone means harm. So what we can do is decide the level of punishment or pain it may take to take down an enemy." Dante suggested. "Also I was thinking, so we can hear that lovely voice maybe katherin can take one of us aside an say our secrets. Well whoever is comfortable with her saying their secrets. I'm hoping that would satisfy secrets." Dante said wishfully.

Katherin blushed at Dante's words. He had no idea what he was getting into. But it meant a lot to her that he wanted to hear her speak. He did have an excellent suggestion. While she didn't like the idea of using their demons to inflict fear or to torture people. It was one way that they could help others. That is a good suggestion. I don't really like the idea of causing people to be afraid, but there are a lot of bad people out there so I guess that is one way to deal with them. The only problem with using secrets is that the deal I made with him requires that I say ALL the secrets we have learned.

"Well as long as you say them a few times a day you would be fine right? Plus I don't want to kill anyone but if we need to use our powers to subdue an enemy I think inducing a disease to weaken them or a nightmare to distract them long enough to trap them or knock them out would be cool." Dante explained."Does anyone else feel like we are forming the justice league?" Dante said laughing.

Secrets is happy as long as he has access to people's deepest secrets. I will walk through town every couple of days to gather new secrets for him. I prefer not to say them. Secrets can be hurtful and embarrassing. My demon and I agree that he keeping the secrets is enough most of the time. But he will want to share occasionally. Katherin write.

"hmm I see. Well I think you should tell them to someone you trust, someone you think will keep those secrets with you. This way if there is something you need to say right away you don't have to write it or have to say the secrets before you can get out what you need to talk about." Dante said. Dante wanted to help Katherin. He thought how horrible it must be to not be able to interact with people in a normal way. People don't take to someone that needs to write notes to communicate to easily.

Katherin smiled at Dante's kind offer. It was nice to have someone want to help her. She was use to taking care of herself. It was one of the reasons she had made the deal she had made with her demon. While she missed talking it wasn't an essential part of her life. She was good at finding ways around problems. While it had been difficult to accomplish some things since she gave up talking she had been able to find away around it most of the time. I am learning sign language. Many of the towns people have been very understanding about my inability to talk. But it would be nice not to have to spend several hours pouring out everyone's secrets before saying what I really want to say. I will have to talk to my demon about it and see what he thinks of the idea.

"Cool. What if for nightmare we give him a large room so if he can't go out in town he can wander the room in his allusion, or one of us can do it with him. This way no one gets hurt in his nightmare." Dante suggested.

"He would still want to give other people nightmares, though it probably wouldn't be every night. I actually think smaller rooms are better, as long as they're out of the way. He can't mess with me as much. Though, having someone go with me might be a good idea." Luther explained, contemplating the last part. He couldn't predict what his illusions were going to be, and he tended to react unpredictably to them. Though he didn't personally like the idea of someone going with him, it could be a good idea for getting him back home, or if need be, restraining him.

We can take turns. We will all have to go to town occasionally. I don't think its a good idea for any of us to go alone. The people in town need to know that we are together. Katherin wrote. She liked the idea of helping the others with their demons. The better they worked together the easier time they would have dealing with their demons and the humans. Eventually they would be hunted. She knew this because she was already being hunted by a doctor that wanted to study her.

"Hmm?" Dante said pondering on a way to help disease. "Do you think the demon disease would be satisfied if he infected cockroaches?" Dante asked. "I mean they are very gross creatures but hard to kill with anything so if he could kill some with a disease, I would say that's a big challenge." Dante explained.

Dante was getting excited being in a room of people like him thinking of ways to control their powers. He felt like he was an X-men in the school for gifted children.

Sven looked around, he was sure the people would be fine, but the idea of one of them going rogue, lingered.

Dante closed his eyes and focused on his demon. When he opened them he only saw darkness and a smokey shadow with red eyes in front of him.
"I guess you're here to negotiate?" the demon said smiling, His voice scratchy but deep and loud. Dante hated the demon's red eyes. "Yes what is it you want?" he asked the demon. The demon smiled and responded. "I want what you want to make people suffer."
"I don't want to make anyone suffer." Dante responded. The demon laughed and said "So you don't want to make people suffer for their crimes? Weren't you just suggesting you use your powers on criminals?"
"I think people need to be stopped, but i don't think they need to suffer. They have to live with their sins and eventually they pay for their crimes. Even after death. It isn't my place to give them the punishment" Dante responded. The demon chucked at the response. "But as you heard you are an immortal now. You are a part of me and in hell I was the one that carried out punishments. Tearing someone's soul apart is more fun than you think."
"Well Dorothy you're not in Kansas anymore, so-"
"Don't get fresh with me boy. You like that pain i gave you before? you think I tear at your body?" The demon laughed. "I tear at your soul. You see there is no pain like a wounded soul. I need your body healthy but I don't need you worthless soul. Another interesting thing about souls is that they heal faster than the body so I can cause you unimaginable pain over and over... and over." The demon said smiling.
"And I could kill myself ending your fun." Dante threatened. The demon stopped smiling. "Now here is my offer. You can give me control over my body and the pain inflicted onto others. In return you get to live a long life and every week we can go to town and if there is someone in trouble you get to release some pain on the person causing the trouble. Otherwise once a week you can inflict pain on me." Dante said looking fearlessly at the demon.
"And if I refuse" the demon said angry.
"Then I kill myself now and we end this debate." Dante threatened with a smile.
"Fine. We have an accord." The demon said holding out his hand to shake on the deal. Dante took his hand and smoke wrapped around his arm. It burned and Dante cringed. The demon laughed as Dante screamed in agony. "We are one now." The demon said from inside Dante's mind. "When you inflict pain on someone this burn on your arm will glow and you will have to endure the burning as you punish someone else." The demon laughed.
"That wasn't the deal." Dante said.
"No, But that is the price of pain." The demon responded.
The darkness faded and Dante was sitting with the others in the great room again. He looked at his arm and there was no burn. He could hear the faint laugh of the demon.
"I did it." Dante said. "I can control the power of pain."

Sven closed his eyes and waited in his mind he began to speak to the screaming voice inside his head.

"poxy, hey poxy I got an computerize shut up" he said calling him by his nickname. there is no response and sven becomes nervouse and begins screaming the demons name.

"geez I am was joking what do you want"
"you should be the demon of tricks if anything, look if I still infect people but bad people you'd be ok with that right?" the boy said thinking over all of the times the demon had done things to him.
"sure, do as you please, I now the disease will spread, just like the constant desire to use your new powers to your will, but I have one request first"
"ok whatever tell me" Sven irritatedly said always nowing this meant he as up to no good.
"our new freinds I'd like to greet them, give me control over your body, just for a minute" the demon pleaded
"no way, I can't trust you, last time you gt control I woke up covered in fly somewere in boston I wont take my chances"
"fine then I'll just have to do it myself"the demon yelled

Sven's body began to twist and curl, as if fighting off a foe. Eventually it stopped and looked to the others with a smile, nodding before sitting down. His eyes were now a light red and bloodshot.

"You okay Sven?" Dante said. He could sense something was different about him. He noticed his eyes were red as if he hadn't blinked in an hour. "You been crying or something bud?" Dante asked

Sven slowly nodded as he began to take his clothes off and make strange noises.

"cut it out pox" the boy said to his demon who now controlled him

"Um who is pox?" Dante said walking toward him slowly. Dante had a bad feeling about Sven.

Sven's body twitched on the ground attempting to speak despite a tongue going limp every now and then. "I am, I acchpt your phllans: the boy said before standing up and looking to katherin, now more composed. "who is this charming lady?"

Luther sat back, closing his eyes and focusing on his demon. He was brought to an area in his mind, a bleak, gray void. He had always hated this place, but the worst was yet to come.
Nightmares appeared in a black haze, ever changing forms. The only thing that remained constant were his piercing red eyes, which were staring down Luther. The demon grinned, "So, you've come to talk. I heard everyone. Make it worth my time." "I want to make it so that you don't go after anyone here." Nightmares laughed, closing in on Luther to get his claustrophobia going. "That's a tall order, my friend. I'm not so fond of some of the others here, and I despise those who have yet to come. What will I recieve in compensation?" He was very expressive, his entire body shifting with his words.
Luther focused on his demon's eyes, trying to ignore what they were doing. It was hard to forget about it, and he had to ball up his fists to stop shaking. "...I'll go out into the towns around here, and you can do whatever the hell you want with the people."
The beast was obviously amused by this, and went in close, their faces touching. "You will go into town from midnight to six in the morning. Every night you don't go into town, the burden falls on you to take the nightmares. And to distract me from these idiots, while on castle grounds I will be playing with your mind more than usual."
"Fair enough." If Luther went to town every other day, it would still be a better deal than what he was currently dealing with.
The demon gave his companion open space again, "Give me your hand." A hand of his own came from the shadow, and inscribed a sigil into Luther's palm. "the pact is sealed, my dear friend. I look forward to your cooperation."
And with that, the demon was gone, and Luther's mind was back into reality. He looked down at his hand, and the mark was faint, but there. It still burned, which he hoped would die down soon.

Katherin knew who was in control of Sven and it wasn't Sven. The demon Disease was in control right now. Which meant that they were all in danger. While they couldn't get disease they could spread them, which would keep them from filling the desires of their own demons. Disease you need to allow Sven to take control again you are putting us all at risk.
