I haven't been reading it all, but why did they kill hemlock?

Hemlock isn't dead. Yet. And in this case, it's because Zero said to. And before I get called a glory hog, the limitation of the Final Strike spell is that while the giant massive blade is extended, Damian must be holding on, otherwise, as I told Demon, he'd just boomerang 'em around all the time.

EDIT: Slight amendment to my Zero said to line. Zero knows Hemlock better than anyone else, and he knew that was what Hemlock would want. Or something. I don't know, I'm following directions.

Well, it isn't really going to be death... I mean... I have my reasons... Manga stuff. I felt it would work given what I have learn with the Manga. I mean, I'm not gonna explain it to avoid spoilers. But if you or anyone has read the manga... It makes sense given reasons. I can PM details if needed, but I don't think it's that important.

I have no idea about what exactly happened to the other dragon if that's what you mean, but I think it may be same thing... maybe. Maybe not.

As for the reason IC. Hemlock had taken some damage and was forced to take more in the fight. Knocking him out in that state was pretty much a non possibility. And getting to the last controller was impossible with him protecting the guy. SOOOO, Zenoram and Zero made a judgement call based on how they thought Hemlock would want it handled.

He did grow up with his real father pretty much beating the fact that, "Whatever goes wrong, it's your fault. And you deserve any punishment dished out to you." XD
