Anyone watching any anime that has english dub for more then one season so far? I need background noise while I'm studying and if I have japanese I'll end up trying to figure out what's being said.
My wife just gave me a "what the fuck are you doing" look and won't tell me why -_-
<Snipped quote by CirusArvennicus>
I'm already sick.
But I have a borderline migriane at the moment that im pretty much keeping at bay with pain killers. And that's making me feel worse

Agony was fun to watch? We must be into different things.

Then again, over 60% of women use epidurals, with more using lesser modes of anesthesia, so they don't get a taste of it, either.
<Snipped quote by Lugubrious>
I imagine there is still pain. I personally wouldn't risk an epidural. Do you know how close it is sticking a needle in your back to being paralysed? I wouldn't trust a doctor for that! Or any human!
<Snipped quote by Caits>
Hmm, the risk is a point I hadn't considered. Still, the statistics remain. Personally I'm not too happy about needles.
<Snipped quote by Caits>
To my knowledge, epidurals and similar anesthetics don't make the lady in question sleepy, just numb. But I suppose the occasional person might have an adverse reaction. Still, if it's a legal treatment, then it's rather like flying in an airplane: the results of a crash could be catastrophic, but the chance of a crash is so low that the service itself is utterly commonplace.
Still, the fact that many more people die to doctors per year than to guns is an acceptable justification.
But hey, I can say from experience that there's at least defense training against knives.
<Snipped quote by Lugubrious>
Ya, I'm not a fan of them too. I remember the last time I had one. They had to stick it in my arm and I held my arm down with my other arm and looked away when they did it lol.
<Snipped quote by Expolar>
The last needle I had, they stuck it in my arm, had a hard time getting a vein, and wiggled the needle around while it was still in my arm. Freaked me out xD
I am back from work! and from doctors. they gave me a needle.... -cries-
<Snipped quote by Caits>
As I've actually done the needle thing before, I'd like to say we were told it isn't a HORRIBLE thing to do, but that if you can't find a vein in...I think it was thirty seconds, to pull it out. Was probably less.
<Snipped quote by soren>
Wonder which hurt worse...
<Snipped quote by Expolar>
Try actually watching it happen. XD and being to afraid to freak out cause your afraid of the needle snapping while still in you.
And it lasted a good five minutes,
<Snipped quote by Zarkun>
Then you haven't see a doctor cause massive bleeding in a vein because they did that and have to send the patient off to surgery t fix it

If you didn't watch angel beats, guilty crown or clannad yet ill be mad at you.

No but seriously tho. I have a phobia for needles and I have passed out multiple times for having only a little needle in my arm. I start to hyperventilate and pass out short after.
Is it normal for shots to hurt the day after|?

The tissue is sensative and bruises fairly easilly, especially when they don't get it right the first time. I've had it happen before.
