Xaven had been in the mythical East End for three weeks, three weeks and in that time he'd gotten no closer to arranging a meeting with the Elders then some Doctor somewhere was in discovering the cure for the damned Common Cold. tall, handsome Xaven paced around the Kitchen of his two story house, the square footage was a little small, but apparently it was his great great great grandparents house on his mother's side and being the last living heir of the family of Lorbosi (mother's Maiden name) it was offically his now. he looked outside the kitchen window to the backyard, and then beyond that to the ocean. it was the one good thing about having to come here and plead to the Elders, he had beach front property, not that he'd used it. Eyes that were almost steel blue gazed longingly at something that was far out of reach, something that no one could grant him, he wanted his parents back, they had been all he had and one morning, six months ago he had came home for a visit, only to find them both dead, sitting on the couch.. his mother resting against his father's shoulder, his father's arm forever around the woman he'd loved for years. growling to himself, he closed his eyes and forced that horrible day away and turned around as the Timer on the stove went off, the smell filling the old house was that of what a baker's shop would smell like, Xaven was a stress eater and baker, cooking relaxed him almost as eating did, and not having to worry about getting to big to fit into his clothes was a plus as he pulled out the batch of Oatmeal Rasin cookies, and sat them to cool.
Behind him, coming in from outside his Familular and Companion sat down and watch him with those Ice blue eyes of hers. "im completely aware that if i keep bugging them they could do worse, but really, whats worse then being commanded to never use your magic, they are blaming me for their deaths and that's not fair, its not right, and i plan to tell each and every elder that the moment i get my meeting" turning around, he looked at his snow white wolf, she was all he had left in the world that he talked to at least, he supposedly had some great uncle somewhere, but he'd never met the man and his father had always assumed he'd died so thats what Xaven assumed. his wolf, lady stared, her ears flattening to her head. "they wouldnt dare take you, they cant seperate a familular from their warlock or witch, stop worrying" though he didnt really know if, he did press them to hard if they could take Lady away from him. "come on" collecting the cooled cookies, adding the fresh batch with the others he'd made since he woke which had been at 5am he put the lid on, and collecting his wallet and keys he left the house, and headed down the street, now 10 in the morning, he would drop off at the school and give out the cookies he'd made, he'd been doing that for Three weeks as well, the local children were either going to end up Diabetics with all the sweets he'd been cooking and just giving to them.. the other day it had baked two pies, one Apple and the other Cherry.. they didnt last long. Lady followed at his side, her claws clicking along the sidewalk, her tail just a wagging away, she could play the part of a dog quite well when she wasnt in one of her moods and hated pretending, not that he blamed her, she like him being forced to live crippled, with magic everyone could know she was a wolf and magic would make them ignore it, without it relied on the old standby.. Lying.
the Sun was making its trek through the sky, it had already warmed up conciderably. decked out in Jeans and a simple white t-shirt, he stood around 6' 3 and at the age 23 he was one handsome young man.
