Marco leaned back on his heels a little, waiting for the trainer to speak. "Well, the battle grounds are quite close to here, actually," the boy remarked rather happily. Well, that was honestly very convenient, Marco had to admit. "Right then. Lead the way if you would." And so, the boy began to walk and Marco began to trek behind him, occasionally glancing down at Rivet.
The Absol walked with confidence. She was going to win this battle.
Marco certainly hoped his Absol's pride would live up to her fighting style. Truth be told, they had battled with each other a dozen times before, but it had been a while since they had actually battled. Neither trainer talked and soon, they were at the battle grounds, just as the boy had promised. Hearing a shout from the other boy, Marco took his place on the battlefield, "Alright," he shouted back, "You can have the first move."
