[IC] Struggling

Justin nodded his head toward the truck, before walking over to it. He opened the back, he climbe into the back end grabbed a black tub. He opened the tops, just to reveal weapons. "Not my fault sometimes I spend my time making this stuff." He pulled out a clip, "uv rounds supposed to explode on impact turning vamps to dust within a second."

Natalie shrugs. "We all need our hobbies to keep us sane." She says understandingly as she looks at the weapons he had made and the clip. "Now that sounds bad ass." She says with a 'you're impressive' smile that she hadn't even known she possessed.

Justin shrugs, before jumping off the back end of the truck. "It really isn't that hard once you figure out how to put uv light into the bullet itself the exploding part just came with putting uv light in it." He closed the back, as he tossed her a pistol made for the bullets, "it just gives me something to do."

Natalie laughs amused. "Not hard. Maybe not for someone who has been raised as a mythical creature but for a human, it's certainly impossible to think of much less create. So feel proud. You did something no one else would have thought to make or have." She said still smiling as she takes a case and tests it with her gun grinning when she found they would match and fit. "My aren't we impressive today." She teases although she was honest. He had impressed the kids and being where they were, it wasn't as easy as it sounded. Other's had pitied them for not having parents or spoke to them condescendingly.

Justin only shook his head, "never had parents been on my own since I was a pup." He climbed into the drivers seat, "that's why I don't like shirts much it just feels weird to me since I was a pup only had jeans and boots and that's basically what I wear." He turned the key to start the truck.

You don't hear me complaining do ya? What did I just say? Quit thinking with your hormones! You'll get yourself hurt! Natalie thought glad he couldn't read minds. "Oh. Well I suppose that's something we share. I was raised in that house along with all the other unwanted kids of the town. Either my parents couldn't afford to feed another mouth or something, I forget what I was told when I asked when I was a little girl." She said waving her hand not caring for she didn't mind it. She was who she was now because of where she was raised.

Justin nodded as he started to drive toward the abandoned warehouse by the harbor. He shrugged, "it doesn't matter much to me since I can be myself instead of being what a pack needs me to be that's the fun part of being a lone wolf don't really complain that much since the forest is my home don't have to compete for lands since there are no other packs in the forest which I'm glad for." He said as he kept his, eyes on the road.

"Aren't you lonely though?" Natalie asked automatically and flushes slightly. It had just come out of her mouth. It was easy to feel lonely. Especially in a large home as she had, or even in a crowd. But the huge family bond that everyone in the house had made the loneliness bearable though.

Justin shrugged, "sometimes when I think about it I just don't think about it much, that's how I can stand it." His eyes still on the road, he glances at her or a moment before returning his eyes to the road. Soon they had gotten to the warehouse, "just keep the gun out of sight if you show it and your with me there going to know the uv rounds are in that clip." With that he opened the door as quietly as he could before walking in.

"Alright, fair enough." Natalie says putting her gun somewhere hidden and safe but still within pretty good reach should the need for it arise taking a breath and exiting the truck too pulling a hand through her hair and putting behind her feelings for now. She would deal with them another time.

Justin was walking through the hall ways, that's when he felt the hairs on the back of his neck rise. He dodged the arm that flew out, "easy we only came here to talk where's Raphael?" The vamp looked at him, before turning and walking down the hallway, Justin followed he saw the main room of the warehouse, "why have you come son of the moon?" Justin swallowed, "Dracula has come back if we don't fight together you and me along with your coven he will over throw you and he will rule this world into darkness." He heard vampires his sat the name, "how am I supposed to know your telling the truth?" Justin sighed, "take a look at my neck," with that he turned his head to where Dracula bit him visible under his long hair. "Alright then we will fight with you just this once son of the moon."

Natalie said nothing letting the two speak and breathes out in relief glad that so far, the plan to overthrow Dracula was working and they hadn't yet needed to fight for their lives. She wasn't too entirely sure if she'd make it out of the warehouse they were in, in one piece. One step closer to fully protecting the children from such a monster.

Justin put his hand on Natalie's shoulder, then his hand trailed down to her hand. He lead her out of the warehouse back to the truck, before letting go of her hand. Getting into the drivers seat, he started the truck up. He looked at her, before he sighed then looked at his hands that were on the wheel.

Natalie looked at their joined hands smiling a little as she held his as they walked to the truck. He gave a long sigh as he placed his hands on the wheel. She looked at him curiously. "What?" She asked not knowing what was wrong with him if anything.

Justin shook his head, "just that anyone that I get close to seem to die on me I don't want to get close to you and see the exact thing happen to you since you have kids to take care of Natalie I don't even know why I dragged you into this." He started driving back to her place, "and the main reason I have this tattoo is just to make sure I don't forget what has happened in my life and this tattoo resembles what I have been through."

"I dragged myself into it by believing in fairy tales and wanting to see something fantastic. Life in that house isn't spectacular. In fact it forces kids to grow up way before they should. But we still cling onto some hope. Mine was that the stories about vampires and werewolves were true even to the evidence pointing otherwise." Natalie says and hesitantly places her hand on his shoulder her fingers caressing his skin in a circle. It was honorable what he had done to remember those that were killed. But he had to let go of the ghosts or they would forever weigh on him as they were.

Justin sighed, keeping his eyes on the road. He didn't really know what to say, he felt her hand on his shoulder her fingers moving in a circle. He swallowed, that only made his mind go blank he sighed keeping his eyes on the highway.

Natalie glanced up at him to see how he reacted to her touch. Well, so far he wasn't telling her to get her hands off. That was something wasn't it? She wasn't sure, a faint pink blush on her cheeks as she considered that maybe he was trying to pay attention to the road and she was only being distracting. And not the good distracting.

Justin started feeling, Natalie's hand removing from his shoulder. He grabbed her hand, "don't please it's just keeping me calm right now if it didn't we would've crashed by now." He glanced at her, he saw her face he smiled a little bit. "Also do you want to tell me something or ask me something Natalie you've been a bit more quiet than you have been."

Natalie's eyes widened and she smiles keeping her hand on his shoulder out of his insistence she do so. She blushes again. "Have I? I'm not really good with people my own age. Give me a rowdy kid any day, I know how to deal with them. Other people though...I'm just not that great at it. Hmm." She thinks about what to tell him and smiles. "The kids had a blast playing baseball. A lot of them had never heard of the game, and it was all they could talk about, even the ones that lost. They hadn't minded cause they had so much fun. And these kids don't take defeat well." She says brightly. She did love the kids in her own way even if none of them were related to her in any way shape or form.
