[IC] Struggling

[Drakon rilt]

Justin sighed, "I didn't mean the game really. I just said that you may have something to ask me I can smell your nervousness when I'm around you." He kept looking at the highway, he glanced at her once again before returning his attention to the highway again.

"Er...it's not that really." Natalie says biting her lip. "It's just...IthinkIlikeyou." She said in a rush never before saying the words to someone not 'family' ever. It was slightly embarrassing. She knew he would have a hard time hearing what she said, and would if asked say it slower. But she'd turn as red as a tomato. She guaranteed it.

It took a few minutes for Justin to pick the words out, and put it in a sentence and say it in his head. Once that was done he smiled, "and I return those feelings Natalie." He said as he kept his eyes on the road, it was middle of the night, but he was wide awake. "Natalie try and get some sleep it's going to be awhile before we get there."

Natalie flushed anyway, even as he hadn't asked her to repeat what she said and smiles warmth swirling around her and she nods pulling the sweat jacket off, and used it as a pillow as she lay her head on it, her hair falling behind her as she closed her eyes not yet sleeping as her hand fell from his shoulder to his right leg, drifting in a state of half aware, half dreaming.

Justin put a hand on hers, holding it in his. His hand was warmer than hers, since he had to generate more heat for him to survive in the forest. He watched the road, only glancing at Natalie a few times before turning his gaze back to the road.

Natalie's fingers curled around his and she fell asleep as the truck moved, the lulling sensation of the movement and the quiet eventually led her to a quick sleep, not needing much rather than being warm, which she was, and comfortable, which she also was, to fall asleep. Her dreams were peaceful and a light smile flit across her lips as if to echo them.

Justin smiled at her, by the the time they got there. He carried Natalie inside of the house, setting her on the bed. He was to tired to drive back to his house, he shifted to lay on the floor and fall asleep there at the end of her bed on the floor.

Almost as if on an alarm, Natalie woke up almost expecting someone had called her, needing her for something used to being woken up thus at the house rubbing her eyes disoriented. She didn't know where she was and started to panic for a bit but then she saw the wolf on the floor and immediately settled a smile on her lips. She wondered for a moment at his gentlemanly way of letting her have the bed and the smile spread. "How sweet." She says softly and stretches out once more settling herself to sleep.

After a few more minutes, Justin opens his eyes. The ice blue orbs scan here he is, till he remembers what he had done last night. Then he just settled down, again just laying there on the floor. He didn't want to get up, but knowing Natalie she would drag him around.

Natalie settles once more curling into a ball and falling deeper into sleep cause that was her thing. If no one needed her immediately, she went straight back to bed if she could help it. She enjoyed her sleep despite the fact that sometimes she got very little of it and could still function....as long as she had some coffee in her.

Justin soon got to his feet, he shook off whatever cramps he got in his body. He looked up to Natalie to see her sleeping, he also saw that he bed was big enough for two. With a shrug he climbed up by her feet before falling back asleep being up most of the night had put a big toll on him.

Natalie turned around still curled up seeking the source of warmth automatically her hand in Justin's fur and dreamed of spring and running through fields of grass.

After a few more hours, Justin woke up seeing Natalie's hand in his fur. His ice blue eyes looking at her sleeping form, he saw her hand clutching a hand full of his pitch black fur. He watched her as she slept, she looked so at ease. A few more minutes Justin was asleep again he would have to sleep for awhile to get all of his strength back.

Natalie woke for real her hand still entangled in black fur smiling as she softly pet his ear and carefully got up from bed and searched for a bathroom to wash up her face.

A few minutes later, Justin woke up. He looked around the room, not seeing Natalie he jumped off the bed. Shook his fur before, starting to shift he was still in his jeans and combat boots. He walked out of the room, went to his truck and grabbed a shirt and put it on.

Natalie came out of the bathroom humming softly having quenched her thirst with cold water. She then went to look for something to eat.

Justin had looked back at the house, then looked at the forest. When he thought about it, he always felt lonely there but it helped him survive. Still this time he had a choice live in the forest still or live in the house with Natalie that was his choices. He went back inside finding Natalie, "would you mind if I stayed here from now on it does get pretty lonely in the forest by myself."

"No. I wouldn't mind. There's a room whenever the teenagers move away. Which is sometimes often so there is a clean room for you to have. And the kids would love having you in the house." Natalie says with a sweet smile glad he wanted to live at the house.

Justin nodded, "thanks Natalie." He went out to his truck and grabbed the duffel bag of clothes he kept in there just in case of him sleeping in the truck. He found one of the spare bedrooms and started unpacking what he had with him.

Natalie smiles and goes to the kitchen as she was starting to get hungry. And she knew that soon the kids would be when they woke up which would be any time now, making her coffee needing the caffeine.
