Vladimir could be a good choice because he can't die as easily and won't be afraid to go on ahead and lead the way. He's tough and also level headed thanks to his life in the middle ages

He hasn't actually said anything that would hint at him being a complete jerk, I still say a leader has to be level headed and know what he is doing.

Vladimir seems like a good option, to be completely honest, although he seems a bit...full of himself? Arrogant? I don't know, he's a freakin' awesome character, but from his thoughts and shtuff, I feel as if he's a bit full of himself. Which is good. It's good if you create a character that's not just in the shadows!

I would like to point out that there is a difference between knowledge and practical experience. like for example Goku is a moron when it comes to being intellectual, hell he didn't even know what girls were when he first met Bulma, but he is a genius when it comes fighting, Vladimir doesn't know as much as the others but he can adapt and understand what the effects of situation can be. It's really just a question of whether or not knowledge or practicality matter most when it comes to leadership. But I don't mind if Kane becomes leader

Superboy can probably do it. I mean, he's heavily experienced with hand to hand combat, technology, and beating criminal ass, so he's not the worst choice.
