Nobody, what does Lin's slash meant to do? "Cut your neck's bloodveins" slash or "your head came off" slash?

She's hoping to cut deep enough to slice off his entire head.

Niks' head is connected only by his spine and from her direction that's what she'd get first anyway. Now the question would be...would she bump to something as she leapt back?

There's nothing to bump into unless something moves into her way from outside.

Right, which meant she pulled her plan near the door and not deeper in the dark room then? Anyway, steel-like bones.

I didn't remember Niks having such hard bones. *facepalm
Evvie had an easy time dealing with that because she's so strong I forgot about it.

Yup, steel-like bones. It's stated in his description,

Wouldn't it be funny if I had a random police sniper shoot bloodshot in the head? Hey, at least it would be realistic.

EDIT: If Bloodshot is attacking with that much force, how much time did he take to build up the force for that attack?

Only as funny as me having a nearby nuclear reactor catastrophically overload... Generally it's not considered kosher to bring outside elements like that into a fight. At least it isn't where I was taught.

It also kind of defeats the entire point of the fight.

Not much time at all, but he doesn't need to. A punch from a normal human can break bone, and he's able to bench a sedan and has a stick in his hand to build even more momentum. He's not even close to using his full strength in the blow either.

I was hoping she had time to float above his strike, which most people wouldn't be prepared for that method of dodging.

How fast can she float?

She'd probably be able to reach about head height in a second and a half.

So she could probably have moved fast enough to avoid it, but there would also have been the problem of his grip on her ankle, which would have forced the knee to bend backwards.
