He just grinded and grinded for a bit, in the distance he spotted a small town, he walked towards it after a moment of thought. He entered the village heading for the inn, it was late but he never knew that even in Aincrad, one had to sleep.

He walked into the inn and past a group of players. He walked over to the innkeeper, "Excuse me, can I have a room please?" Kalder asked the NPC. After a moment the NPC replied "Sure, rooms are 500 col a night." A notification popped up. [500 col for a one night stay in [inn], do you comfirm?] He clicked yes and was surprised by the solid pop up. A tone rang out as the NPC pointed to a room door. Kalder Walked over to the bar and a notification appeared asking was he over the drinking age, in truth, he was not. But still he pressed yes. He sat down and ordered a cider. After the NPC served him, he took a sip. How did they replicate the taste of good cider, it amazed him.

Ryan continued to follow the group, the dread that had hung over him earlier lessening only slightly. As they arrived at the town and found the inn, he looked back towards the town of beginnings. "Guys... That guy... The one who knew the devs locked us in here... Do you guys think he's someone that can be trusted...? He just... Seemed to sure that it was intentional to lock us all in here... Especially considering it actually was intentional..." He looked back to the others as they actually entered the inn. Though... The fact that he was so quick to make a huge guild to fight through the floors... I don't know...

karen followed Bachus all the way to the next town. True, she didnt know him. But she was still alive wasnt she? Maybe she could trust him after all. Karen opened her menu, and sent a message.

She sent it and continued on waling beside Bachus.

Bachus grunted every so often, scratched his crotch, head, and shoulders. He was definitely a man. Standing at the town entrance, he brought the group to a halt. "Rest up people! We'll be here for a little while before we head out again!" He grunted, and allowed people to enter the town to do as they pleased for a while.

Cash and the others walked into the Inn with tired faces. Cash took it upon himself to talk to the NPC again, asking if they could purchase a room that holds four. "Have a nice stay!" The NPC women concluded after giving Cash directions to the room. Cash looked back at the group who stood in the lobby, seemingly waiting patiently, and hollered back at them,"Room is this way...."Cash said as he nodded his head in the direction of the room. Cash walked slightly ahead as to show the others where they will be staying. "Ryan, regarding what you said earlier, Bachus does seem like a shady character. A man comes out of nowhere, spouting about being trapped in the game. Then, only minutes later, we get trapped in a game !." Cash looked down slightly as he clenched his fist. It's hard to believe it was a coincidence, but I can't just go around blaming people. I haven't even given this Bachus guy a chance yet. Cash thought to himself as he walked down the hallway. Their room was quickly approaching, this was a rather small inn compared to ones in the real world.

"So, this is the room. I asked the lady...I mean NPC, for a room that would be big enough for 4, but judging from the size of the building, I'm not sure exactly how big it is." Cash said as he scratched his head. Cash stepped aside from the door and held his hand in a leading manner, trying to be chivalrous.

juno was taken aback by the man's slight hostility, and looked to the man, with a calm demeanor, " understood, i look forward to seeing you all in the future, but i feel as if i need to level up a little more before i join your glorious guild, and i am dearly sorry for saying anything that may have offended you, im not sure as to why it would, but i digress, anyways, good luck to you, bachus, and may you lead your guild to victory." he walked toward the west end of town, and found an open field filled with farmable creatures."alright, lets give this a try, i still havent even used my weapon yet." he unsheathes his blade, looking at it. "hmm, quite exquisite, light enough to get in quick attacks, but its seems sturdy enough to deal some damage..." he checks his weapon's stats, grinning."well, this could be a while.." he takes of into the field, seeing a boar, and slashes the beast, killing it, as EXP/col is distruibuted to him.

after killing quite a few of the beasts, he had saved up a decent amount of col, around 1,200, if he remembered correctly, and checked his status.
"huh, ive gained some experience, nice..."
he closed the status screen, and began heading towards the next town, taking a decent amount of time to get there. after finally finding the inn, he walked in, closing the door.
he walked up to the worker at the front desk, worn out from his exploits."how much for a room?"
the inn worker replied," our cheapest room would be 200 col."
he sighed, forking it over to her, and asked" what kind of alcohol do you have.."
she went through an impressive list of different drinks and drink mixes.
" ill take a double vodka.." a notification popped up, wishing to confirm his age, he confirmed it, and the lady brought him his drink, which he threw down rather quickly, and walked up to his room, passing a few players.

Raven lets Faeron enter ahead of him while listening for any idle chatter behind them in the common room, watching the other player pass them and go to his own room. Lots of people already moving on to here. We're gonna want to set out early if we're going to get to any of the fields ahead of the others. And if there's already any guilds, you can be sure they set out for here first thing. Shaking his head, he follows Ryan and Faeron into the room, thinking to himself on the question at hand. What was it about Bacchus that made him so uneasy...

"I don't think we should trust him. He knew about the log out button way too convieniently, and even if he was just the first one to notice, his immediate accusation of the devs should be reason enough to at least be suspicious, not to mention the speed he got such a large guild." Raven sighs and sits down on one of the beds in the fairly spacious room. "Long of the short? We work with him when we have to and stay away otherwise."

He checked the time, he would wake up at four and start grinding. Of his six calvary swords, three were left. He walked to his room, just pacing the coridor, He noticed a painting and stopped to examine it. The quality of the painting was immense. It showed a painting of a large beast, it wielded a large katana. Around it was particle effects like players, and a lot of them was being slaughtered like cows in a butchery.

Relief flooded through Izzy upon hearing Haunt's words. She felt herself beginning to calm down, and managed to look up at him and speak with a slightly-less shaky voice.

"I've been working on it for a few years now, so it isn't as bad as it used to be..." she said, before her eyes snapped back to the ground and she fought back a blush. "And, um... I promise to do everything I can to keep you safe... for what that's worth."

Her panic attacks always hit her when she felt like she couldn't do anything about a situation she didn't like. But in SAO, if she leveled up and got stronger, she could help Haunt and anyone else survive. She wouldn't be forced to watch as people died.

She looked up at Haunt again, recomposed. With a small, shy smile, she said "I guess we should make our way to the next town. We can try to level up on the way."

Meanwhile in the town street, Bachus was alone with Karen for now. "So Karen. I thought... if i'm going to run a guild, it'll be difficult... and I need some help." He sighed. "It's come to my attention that some of the other players are intimidated by me, have no faith in me." He turned to her. "What do you say? be the second in line to guild master? earn these people's trust... and we will have an army of warriors, able to cuts its way through this game and back into reality." He laughed. "It'll be easy with their allegiance. not to mention the lives we'll save." He sounded almost exited.

Karen was shocked. "M...me?" She had never been in a guild on any game before, nor did she know anything about them. However, after everything he said, she couldnt say no. "O...Ok... im not the best qualified, but i'll do my best!" He nodded and clenched both fists. "I will try to bring as many new players into the legion, and bind them together to make a force even the bosses tremble at!" She smiled cutely, before turning on the spot. "Im going for a drink, care to join me?"

Bachus nodded, and followed her into the inn. They sat at the bar, and purchased two drinks, continuing to talk.

Ryan nodded in agreement with Raven and Cash. Bachus had seemed to react before there was need to react... He proceeded to find the first place to sit down before hanging his head and closing his eyes. Alright Ryan, think this through... we're trapped in a game that we can die in... I'm the one who needs to keep the others from dying, that's my job... So why be so worried about it? It'll just be like all the RPGs I've played... He inhaled and exhaled as slowly as he could before looking back up, most of the fear that was left in his eyes fading away. "So do we have a strategy yet? From the sounds around us, I'd say at least a medium-sized group has already arrived at this town like we have... Which means we either go out there and farm EXP now, later, or skip this town and move on even farther from where we are... With as big a group as we have, I'm sure we could easily defeat the enemies in the next area. It would probably give good enough EXP there to make up for it as well, but would also mean more frequent breaks during our farming..." He looked between the others, waiting to hear their ideas for what exactly they should do.

He turned his attention back to her, leaning on his spear, his smile returning. "Whenever you're ready to go, let's move out."

Cash looked at Ryan. He was right, just the four of them could take on monsters a few levels higher then them, But to go on the move so early might be a bit troublesome. Cash, walked into the room after letting the other flow inside. Cash walked past Raven, Ryan and Faeron and made a B line for the closest bed. It wasn't to soft, sort of firm actually, but it didn't bother Cash to much. In the real world Cash slept on a firm bed all the time. While Cash laid on the bed, his feet hanging off, he stared at the ceiling and responded to Ryan,"We are a tough group aren't we?" Cash chuckled a bit before adding,"But honestly, I don't wanna be moving all the time. No ones beating the game anytime soon, we have plenty of time to sit around floor 1 for a while and grind while other go on ahead. They wouldn't make it any further then a few towns ahead of us by the time he boost our levels a little bit anyways, so why the rush?" Cash stopped after that to let out a small cough. He sat up on the bed and looked at the people around him,"Let's just relax tonight, we need our minds and body able to fight monsters in the morning. I think sleep will help me think about thing calmly for a change..." Cash stated just before letting our a deep yawn. Cash was obviously tired, so he think anyways, so without giving them time to respond and possibly disagree and laid back and closed his eyes. I think they get the hint... Cash thought to himself and he listened to the others while he laid.

"I wouldn't trust that guy at all. For all we know, he probably knows something," she muttered. Now thinking back to it, this Bachus seemed like he was making leaps and bounds to get out of this game. She agreed what Raven had said - but Faeron preferred to kust conpeltely avoid Bachus. The group entered the room, and Cash headed towards a bed and laid down. Faeron nodded, heading towards the bed farthest away from the door. She was exhausted and her eyes slightly burned. "Yeah, let's rest for a bit before grinding," she began. "But I would prefer if we got stronger so we don't die a pitiful death," she muttered to herself. Before long, she was fast asleep.

Raven unequipped his boots and laid down as well, tapping his chin thoughtfully while running what Cash had said through his mind. It was most definitely a good plan, but no one was really in a condition to debate much, especially him. He could feel the exhaustion beginning to set in and couldn't help but yawn widely. "I say we hold off on deciding anything until we've all rested up for the night. No harm in that." Rolling onto his side, he looked at Faeron and Ryan. "Not to mention it can't hurt to give our bodies, as they are, a chance to finish adjusting. We could be here a long time."

1 Week Later ~

The sun rose in a beautiful fashion. The breeze flicked pieces of grass, and flower petals around, filling up the ground with beauty. Karen was sitting cross legged on a wall, admiring the sun rise. She sighed. "Pretty..." But it was just a simulation... She shook that thought out of her head, because this all might as well be real.

"General." It was Bachus. He looked very tired.

"Bachus!" She blushed a little. "I was just... watching the sun rise."

He chuckled and grumbled in his gritty voice. "It is beautiful isnt it?" He smiled. "But I have important matters to discuss with you." He moved forward, and sat next to her. "I cant sleep. This game... It's getting to me."

She put her hand on his shoulder and reassured him some.

He smiled. "But that aside, I sent 2 of the best scouters we have acquired this past week to find some items that could help us."

Karen looked excited. "They brought back something good? Can we sell it? Is it a powerful weapon?" He was literally on the edge of the wall.

He sighed, before speaking in a disheartened voice. "They found the door to the first boss room." They weren't ready yet. It said in the book of truth, that normally, someone dies in a boss room, without proper tactics and precision. "We have to go and beat it... If we are to become the leading guild in this world.. we have no choice."

Karen looked at him with saddened eyes, before nodding. "Okay. We'll do it." She clenched her fist, she was ready.

Bachus was surprised, but happy. He opened his menu and began typing.

He sent a similar message to all the members of the legion too. "God help us."

Cash sat on an old wooden bench in the town square as he enjoyed a nice breakfast. It was some freshly baked bread with jam on it, the rare topping didn't really taste like jam, but the look and smell distinguished it. It's not everyday someone gets to eat a rare food, so today, cash woke up extra early so he could eat the jam and watch the sunrise together. "I'm glad I was able to complete that quest a few towns back, this jam was definitely worth it.."Cash muttered to himself as he licked his sticky fingers clean. Cash raised his hand that had his drink in it and joyfully sipped it, he closed his eyes and let the suns rays fall on his face in relaxation. I hate to admit it but...I could get used to this, if this game wasn't riddled with monsters and stuff. I wouldn't mind livin' here Cash thought to himself. Cash only joked around about that stuff in his head because saying things like that out loud, could give people the wrong idea. Cash's eyes scanned the are slowly, looking at all the NPC's and players walking around doing their own things. It was strange, today didn't seem like the others. People were smiling, not the NPC's, the actual players. It was nothing but gloomy faces ever since the they found out what this game really was, but today is different. Are people getting used to it here? Cash pondered.

His knees cracked as he stood up from the bench, he stretched his back and arms and walked off towards the Inn where the group was. "I wonder what''s on the agenda today. Think they'll want a lazy day today? Just do nothing but hang around the safe zones?" Cash whispered to himself as he walked through the Inn and into the room. A grin stretched across Cash's face as he plotted against the sleeping. Cash maniacally rubbed his hands together and cupped them around his mouth, Cash yelled, "Rise and shine people!" Cash walked through the room to the other side, where he opened the curtains and let in to much light, Cash shouted some more,"Such a beautiful day; The sun is shining, the NPC's are smiling, the monsters are spawning. C'mon! Let's wake up!" Cash walked into the kitchen and opened his menu, he scrolled through his inventory trying to find all the foods that didn't require the cooking skill. He laid them out on the table; An apple, three sandwiches, a few water bottles, and four buns. Cash grabbed a bun, a waterbottle, and the apple and walked over to the couch. Cash shouted towards the sleepers,"I made breakfast!!"

Raven chuckled as he came into their room at the tail end of Cash's announcement, pulling the curtains closed just enough that the others could actually see what they were doing when the got up. Going into the kitchen to appraise the meal, he shook his head and smiled. "Breakfast? These are the leftovers from yesterday's lunch!" With an accusatory finger, he points at Cash. "Admit it! You haven't been working on your cooking skill!" He held the pose for just a moment longer before dropping it with a laugh and grabbing one of the buns and water bottles. He could be seen sweating and when given a questionable look, he grinned widely.

"Spent the morning after you left working on my acrobatics skill. Now I can dodge some of the faster monster attacks and minimize the amount of damage I take from an attack by avoiding the worst of it." His grin still on his face, he took a big swig of water and sat down at one of the chairs. He opened his mouth to say something when a message popped up from the one person they'd all agreed to avoid; Bacchus. Frowning, he dismisses it and looks at the others. "You all get that?"

(before the time-skip)
Ryan sighed, nodding. They had a point... He sat down on his bed, but didn't lie down. The events of the day was too much to just go to sleep. As the others slept, he sat there, thinking it over, mentally pushing himself to become stronger. Of course, the night after he would be so tired he would likely be the first asleep, but tonight... There was no sleep for him.
(after the time-skip)
Ryan jolted upwards as he heard Cash shouting in an attempt to wake them. As he reached a sitting position, suddenly, light entered the room, causing him to fall backwards and cover his face with his pillow. "Oh god... What's wrong with you Cash, it's morning... It's not even lunch-time yet... Why are you awake this early? In fact, why does this inn even let you out before noon?" Suddenly Raven fixed the lighting by closing the curtains somewhat and he removed the pillow from his face. He squinted as he got out of bed, barely able to see. He smirked as he heard something about Cash making breakfast and Raven calling him out on the bluff. "If you guys want, I can make it, I guess... I've been working on it some." He said this as he read the message from Bacchus, they had agreed to avoid him... But a boss fight... They couldn't miss out on that, could they? It would provide a huge amount of EXP for them, and they might need that, at least, that's what he expected. "I got the message too, I think we should go, just avoid Bacchus while there." He said as he walked towards Raven and Cash.

Faeron was sleeping peacefully, her blanket covering her face whilst leaving her feet bare. Just a week ago, she had slept rigid on her bed, sometimes awakening in the middle of the night. When her eyes opened, she had always expected one of her brothers to sneak a little midnight snack. Eventually, Faeron got over the bitter sharp feeling of nostalgia. After all, she had a wonderful group beside her. She turned over, a little smile on her face as she drifted off into dream land.. Just a little more sleep and -

"Rise and shine people!"

Faeron groaned as Cash continued to loudly talk. She would have preferred to sleep in for a while longer after the long training she endured last night. However, she felt a sense of pride. She had worked really hard on her skills and tried a variety of fighting tactics with her spear. All in all, she felt a lot stronger then she had a week ago.

Faeron soon heard Ravens voice, accusing Cash of not using his cooking skill. She sniggled, settlung herself for another hour of sleep before receiving a message. Bacchus.

Immediately, Faeron threw off the blanket, sitting up as she quickly read the contents. A frown in her face, she dismissed it before opening the book of truth. The first boss. A rush of adrenaline pumped through her as she equipped her amor and headed towards the kitchen.

"Yeah," she responded, grabbing a bun. She took a bite of it as she listened to Ryan. Fair enough, the rewards would be nice... "I'm up for it. As long as we avoid Bacchuss," she said. "It would be nice to meet Karen too," she added.

"huh, what's he want?...."
he proceeds to open the message, and reads it, " damn, they work quickly, they should focus on leveling up more before they face any boss, they may lose lives if not, which isnt a good thing to do in this game..."
he gets off the bed, and puts his equipment on, and checks his inventory.
"nice, nearly 7000 col, i might be able to get better armor now.."
he walks out of his room, closing the door, and heading to the lobby, where he waited to see if he could find a good group to join, as he wasnt too keen in being in the legion of light guild.
