Kaithas has the right idea... I'd suggest you RP as if you'd been in the boss fight, or somewhere nearby and started heading up towards the second floor, but notice someone and work out being in a party with them (if you find someone from our group, I'm sure you can get us to accept you into the party XD )

*nods* Yeah, like I said though, I'm waiting on one or two more to step through... I will however, check and see if there's a predetermined idea of what floor 2 looks like before I try to make up my own idea for it

The 2nd Floor (第2層, Dai 2-sō?) of Aincrad has a generally mountainous topography. The terrain is rocky, full of hills, and not particularly diverse.

Most of the landscape is predominantly flat-topped mountains, which are topped with lush green grass. It is primarily inhabited by large ox-type monsters.

Until one responds about that, I would suggest you assume it's just Zarkun, as he's the only one to have posted so far as being on the second floor out of that group

Also, yes Cryptik Wisdom, you can join, but I believe Kaben is correct, there are only melee weapons in SAO
