[ The crest of House Aldran: the Overlord's crown over House Trisch's old colours. It is meant to symbolize their past as House Trisch's royal guard. Their motto is 'Duty Before All Else.' ]
Lord Crispin Aldran II is the Lord of Aldranland, Strongmist, Ambershore, Rubybay, Glittersky, and Fronquill. He is age 67, average of height and weight, gray of hair, with a thick beard, and brown of eye. He is married to Lady Katrine Aldran, age 67, born to a royal guardsman. He has three sons [ Balthazar, age 30, Arthur, age 27, and John, age 25. ] and three daughters [ Adelaide, age 49, Rita, age 47, and Katerjine, age 45 ]. He has no living siblings, though his nieces and nephews occasionally come out from the woodwork.
House Aldran was born when late Lord Crispin himself was offered the fief in the newly settled western lands over a century ago, in gratitude of saving the then-Overlord's life of Phillip II, shortly after his older brother had been assassinated. Ten years afterwards, vassalage was exchanged from being directly to the Overlord, to your House as part of an agreement made by your father.
The once frontier-land has since grown into a bustling hive of activity, with the great Aldranport at as its crown jewel. Lord Crispin is still fiercely devoted to the Overlord, and though he respects you, he places his loyalty to the House that gave him his nobility before the House he happened to come serving through a suspected Faustian contract. Otherwise, he is a man of just nature and wise judgement, with only his wife being equal concerning effective administration of their fief.
His sons take after him in most ways, save his two youngest, who act little better than hedge knights, competing in tourneys all across Lundland, indulging in earthly pleasures, despite both being married. The eldest son is far more austere, and some would perhaps say uptight.
Their eldest daughter is a boorish and jolly lady, married to Lord Westfield, the vassal of the Attolian king. The other two daughters are married into houses of lesser import.

[ The crest of House Hastings; four yellow buellts over a black field. It is meant to symbolize their piety and devotion to their friends. Their motto is ‘Our Word is Our Bond.’ ]
Lord Cynefern Hastings is the lord of Honeybough, and Goldengrove. He is age 45, tall of height and average of weight, gray-brown of hair and brown of eye. He is married to Lady Lucia, age 39, the daughter of an Ordained knight. He has three sons [ Luccio, age 21, Florence, age 19, Zephyr, age 15 ] and one daughter [ Maria, age 23 ]. He has one sister [ Cunygyde, age 47 ], who has two sons [ Aedan, age 31, Bruce, age 26 ].
House Hastings was a late arrival during the settlement of the fertile westernlands. Abandoning their ancestral home, the family of landed knights headed west when granted a county of idyllic woodland. Though settling the land was difficult at first, the land and its fauna were soon tamed, and ever since, their lands have lived in prosperous peace.
The lands of House Hastings are perhaps best known for producing exquisite honey, juicy berries, and very sweet, creamy-flavoured wine, which are sought even among foreign lords for their unique taste.
Lord Cynefern himself was quite a handsome and gallant man in his youth, and won the heart of an Ordained beauty after unseating her father in a tourney.
But the nagging of aging bones and a wife have caused him to start putting his glory days of tourneys and battles behind him. He still takes an active role in administering his lands, but is beginning to give his eldest son, Luccio, a firsthand education. The boy is very reluctant to this, however; armed with the rugged muscle of a Lundlander, and graced with the lethe beauty of a southern Ordained, he can’t seem to help but charm every woman he meets, and these passions often distract him from learning.
Florence and Zephyr could not hate Luccio more. They were not as lucky in the gene department, but what they lack in looks and muscle, they make up for in cleverness. Lately, they seem to be conversing with each other in private quite often. Cynefern is no fool, and is keeping an eye out for his oblivious Luccio.
