Description:
Richard is a very calm person, laid back, and very professional. He knows what to do, and out of reflex, will strive to perfect it. He is a very serious person, and tends to stick to himself, but can be very gentle as well. He is not defined by solitude, rather the silence that he prefers. He loves the wilderness, and is quite an outdoors-man. He draws back his upper lip when he is upset, and his hair spikes out of its gel, but otherwise the only other noticeable thing is his strangely sharp, yet perfectly white teeth.

Personality: Richard is constantly tormented with the depression that haunts him, the loss of his wife had taken quite a toll on his stability. He get's angry easily, and will take his anger out on anyone or anything nearby, losing control is something he is prone to now.
History: A once very loving father, and husband, his demeanor quickly took a turn for the worse when his wife, Alexandra was killed in a car accident. Involved with a filthy drunk driver. He still resides at his position as a lawyer, a very prominent one, but directs his anger mostly against the 'filthily' spliced people.

Description/Personality: Derek is constantly checking his surroundings, the sights and smells captivating him. He was always a curious boy, always questioning everything, much to his father's dismay. When his mother had passed on, Derek had sensed a new light in his father, a deep dark abyss surrounding the man whom had once been so bright and vibrant. Standing at 5'11, almost 6 foot tall, Derek is a bit of an intimidating presence, though when close to him, you would know not to think such a thing. He is very calm and gentle, his even temper holding through almost any tense situation. His persona is hardened beyond that of a man his age, mostly due to him bringing himself up, and supporting his father.

After his mother had died in the unfortunate accident, and his father turned to liquor and hate, Derek had to grow up. He took care of his drunken father, and the house as soon as he could pay for it. Though his father works in a law firm, and makes a bit of money to live off of, he spent most of it on the bar. Having recently fell out with his father, he is trying to find a home to call his own, though it pains him to leave his father, perhaps it will restore a bit of sense in the man when he realizes that he doesn't have a backup any longer.

Also assuming you are I'm a little unclear on the character sheet. Are we filling it out for the parent or parents of our character before the time skip or are we doing it for the present day character?

Also what constitutes being from one class or the other I'm not really clear what the difference between the golden and the filthy is. Are the filthy just more animal than the golden?

Would a girl whose part hawk (AKA can fly) be all right. There are a couple of nerfs I could add to make it more fair.

Yes we are still accepting

For the character sheet you are primarily making your parent (or parents) CS, then I will announce when we are skipping and you will primarily play as your kid (who at this time is 20 or so) some people chose to go ahead and make their kids CS but if it's easier you can wait till I announce the skip

The difference between golden and filthy is filthy has visible traits of their splice where golden don't...for example a filthy hawk girl might have visible wings or yellow eyes, where a golden hawk girl would have any of these showing when they aren't in use.

And hawk is totally acceptable :) hopefully this answered all your questions

We start as our character's parents yes?

So when we do the time skip how does that effect the animal splice of our children, will they like have a cross between whatever our parents have or is everyone born human and spliced after birth?

Oh and can the child of two golden parents be filthy?

Yes we are starting as our parents and their kid or kids will be born with either mom or dad's splice (no mixes) and if two golden parents have a child yes it can be filthy but two filthy parents can't have a golden

Name: Thomas Halligan

Splice: Eagle

Abilities: When he needs them beautiful eagle's wings unfold from Thomas' back letting him fly. When he needs a boost in his eyesight Thomas' eye will turn yellow while he uses the vision of an Eagle. Avian Splices are some of the most complicated as humans were never meant to be able to fly. While Thomas may look almost completely human on the outside almost his entire physiology has been reworked to let him achieve liftoff.

His bones are lightweight and hollow resembling a honeycomb, it is a design that allows for a light weight and strength but makes the bones easily breakable. Thomas has a gizzard instead of a stomach which allows him to process food quickly so that he is not weighted down by the food, this also means that he eats a lot. This means that he can swallow food whole though he still has teeth which are built similar to his bones. When in public he uses them but if no one it looking Thomas is happy enough to swallow his food in a single bite. His muscles are strong to allow his to flap with enough force to lift him off the ground. His lungs are flat and pressed against his rib cage making them smaller and lightweight, they can't hold a lot of oxygen and so he has a number of air sacs in his chest that store oxygen. This means that he can become easily out of breath.

Personality: Thomas laid back and easy to talk to. He understands life a lot more than most people his age and quite a bit more than someone of his status should about the Filthy/Golden situation. Despite this he cares deeply what his parents thing of him.

History: Thomas is the son of two wealthy merchants in the lower end of one of the main cities of the Golden. His mother and father are both Avian splices as dating outside your splice is while not strictly illegal frowned upon by the community because parents of different splices are much more likely to produce a Filthy Child. His was surprisingly unremarkable until one day when walking home from his father's warehouse he caught sight of a girl with startling red hair and astonishing green eyes. The tips of her hair were much lighter than the red of her hair, more an orange than red and Thomas guessed that she must be some sort of fox or dog splice. Despite this knowledge Thomas fell in love in that moment. Like a perfect fairy tale she disappeared into an alley and he couldn't find her. Thomas spent the next month scowering the city for this mysterious red haired girl that he'd only glimpsed for a moment. Finally a contact of her father's found her, her name was Christina Baker and she lived eight blocks from the Halligan apartment. Thomas knocked on her door and asked her out and they've been together ever since.

I've got a bit more to add but I need to know how long the skip is before I can add it.
