It is the 41st Millenium, and the Imperium of man is besieged on all sides by Xenos filth, ranging from the battle hungry Orks, to merciless world eating Tyranids. Heretics, Witches, Traitors attack the Imperium from both the inside and out.
The only thing that stands in all the enemies way is The Vast Backbone of the Imperium the Imperial Guard, the Elite Soldiers of the Emperor Adeptus Astartes, and those that cleanse the Imperium with Faith and Fire The Inquisition.
There are untold billions of men and women in this Galaxy and you are, but one.
You will not be missed.

The planet Kalvarstad has come under attack by Heretics, even now Traitor Guard and Marines slaughter civilians and PDF forces alike without much to stop them as their Daemonic allies rush forth from the warp portals. No one is sure, why but Psykers seem to grow dizy and weary on this planet though they seem drawn there. No one has ever seen the forces of Chaos work with such a method to get to a certain hive as they seem to be doing now rather than wanton slaughter.

You are of the noble Space Marines Salamander Chapter! You are arriving to defend the Imperium, to retrieve something so important that a three whole companies have been called.
(Any Armor or weapons from the Astartes armory. This does not include relic weapons. This do not include dreadnoughts.)

Inquisition

The secretive and powerful inquisition. You are a fierce warrior of the Ecclissiarchy and no one else knows the secrets you do. Whether you be a stormtrooper a inquisitor or even a assassin. You are one of the best of the best.
(Storm Troopers may pick from Imperial Guard armory and Storm Trooper armory. Inquisitors are welcome to just about anything within reason. Assassins are welcome to the calixus assassins armory.)

The Backbone of the empire a well trained soldier but all to often your life expectancy in battle isn’t more than a few minutes. You are proud and you are brave you will fight and die as needed.
(Imperial Guard may take any weapon from the imperial guard armory. All Guardsmen are Cadians.)

I'm not fully decided on that. There will be NPCs and you can claim them to be in your squad, retinue, company, platoon etc, but i'd rather they're not made like characters cause. i won't give them a single ounce of plot armor.

That will be okay. The condition to it is though, that one of them will have normal PC plot armor (as in the only way they can die is by player acceptance or GM declaration.) the other will have slightly less plot armor meaning (They can die in situations of overwhelming odds or if attacks are made that just seem extremely improbable to escape and a good explanation cannot be given for them to escape.)

Personality: As with most Inqusitors, to others, she is cold, calculating and completely without mercy, it is her duty as an Inquisitor in order men to their deaths, so she tends to try and not form attachments, so that she doesn't feel bad when she gives them the order to die so that she may live. She is open only to her bodyguard, who she knows will only thank her for giving such an order.

History: Much like many Inquisitors, she was born on Terra. She was born with a solid gold spoon in her mouth, the daughter of a noble family. She never knew sadness, just happiness under the protection of the Emperor... Until the Astra Telepathica picked up her strong Psyker potential, after that, she knew only death, destruction and holy fire in the name of the Emperor. Yoheved, being from a noble house was trained as an Inquisitor, a Witch-Hunter.

Her first missions were simply to sniff out small chaos cults in the Mordian sector... She earned her name as an Inquisitor when she was swept up in the 13th Black Crusade when her ship stopped at one of the Blackstone Fortress' to resupply. She went one on one with a Slaaneshi Sorcerer and killed him, taking his sword to present to her superior, Lord Inquisitor Viqtor Remly, who studied Daemonic and Xeno weapons. Remly allowed her to keep it as it was a powerful weapon, as well as gifting her a Xeno weapon of great power, a Blast Pistol from a Dark Eldar that he had recently interrogated. It was a controversial decision for her, but he reminded her that, although heretical, weapons of Daemon origin were incredibly strong, and turning the ruinous powers against themselves would go along way to achieving the Emperors ultimate goal for Humanity. She had been investigating reports of a Tzeenchian cult on Kalvarstad when the cataclysm struck, now, as a member of the Ordo Hereticus, she's taking charge of the situation.

Copy of the Lectitio Divinitatus (The Ignited Fists codex. A Holy Book describing the Emperors rise to glory and how he continues to protect from atop the Golden Throne. It contains psalms to his greatness and hymns to commemorate all he has done for Mankind. It also contains a compelling case for why the Emperor of Mankind was more than a man but a God made flesh. It says that no mortal being could have accomplished all that the Emperor had in uniting the techno-barbarian tribes and nations of Terra and then reuniting much of the human-settled galaxy under His rule. Nor could a simple human being possess His extraordinary command of psychic abilities, his advanced scientific knowledge which displayed an understanding of the universe on a primal level or His infinite compassion and good will towards all Mankind.)

Personality: Silent... He rarely talks. That is not to say that he doesn't voice himself. He's known to sing, both in the calm and in the heat of battle, his singing, thanks to his Vox implants, can kill at at close range. He is a harbinger of death, totally devoted to the Emperor. He does not believe in the Omnisiah, there is no god but the Emperor. Although he knows that, for the sake of peace, he must take pity on the poor fools that believe this. Any time Deus Mechanicus is mentioned, he is known to sigh or bite his tongue to prevent himself from killing the one that mentions it.

History: Born on

His first official appearance was during the Death Blade Heresy in the Lomarus sector. They fell to chaos. Officially, Lorrian was one of the loyalists among them who fought against them. After the now Heretic Warband Death Blades retreated into the Warp, the highest up of the Loyalists founded the Ignited Fists chapter. Disgusted by the heresy of his brothers, he put in for a transfer to the Deathwatch, to make sure that he could keep his battle brothers in line and loyal to the Emperor, as they should be.

He has fought for the Emperor on countless Battlefields, earning the eye of Inquisitor Yoheved, who asked for him to be put under her direct command. He now serves her as her personal bodyguard, and will unhesitatingly throw himself in front of Khorne himself in order to save her.

Appearance:



Has several tattoo's across his body. Across his face, tattoos of the holy words of the Emperor. On the palms of his hands are tattoos of a book with fire across the pages. This symbol can almost be seen on his armour, although the book part has been sanded off and replaced by a Fist, the symbol of his Chapter.
His left eye is replaced with a Bale pattern optical implant. It's a prosthetic eye with the ability to fire a small laser, it has the power of a Lasgun, but only has an effective range of 6 foot, meaning that it can only be used at close range, and has little to no armour piercing ability, meaning that its only really effective on exposed skin. His helmet is modified to allow this to use it without breaking.
Vox implant in his throat, it amplifies his voice to the point where his very words have the power of a Sonic Blaster, meaning that his very words can cut through a heretic like the Emperors would through their idiotic, false philosophy. He can use this to, literally, scream an enemy to death. But like his other weapons, has a limited effective radius as a weapon. It does not only work as a weapon, but also as a means of communication, his bellows can be heard across the entire battlefield.

Matt, Alright man so here's my problems. First problem Your bodyguard, first I'd rather you not have a death watch marine as a bodyguard mainly because that's you controlling a fairly powerful PC and a very powerful NPC so I'd prefer if you grabbed yourself maybe a stormtrooper for your retinue. 2nd problem is your bodyguard is of the Ordo Xenos when you're Ordo Hereticus? That is highly unlikely for that to occur considering a ORDO xenos member of any sort wouldn't very likely follow around a witch hunger cause well.. he'd never come across Xenos. Arco Flagellant would be okay as well or even a Callixus assassin etc.

Well. i built them to complement each other, seeing as how Lorrian has no ranged weaponry (He has a Storm bolter, but they have far too much recoil to be useful at range. They're only good on the charge, or up close and personal.)

And definitely not interested in a Flagellant as they have no personality... Literally, any form of thought that isn't "Do as the master says" is stripped from them.

Would I be allowed an Ogryn or Doombull? Essentially, i'm looking for a Nappa to her Vegeta. The big, hulking thing to follow her around and do as she says, have insane levels of strength in melee combat but little else to offer. anything that makes it past her brute will severely underestimate her, thinking that she is little more than a little girl sitting behind the wall of muscle. That's when she turns them into a substance resembling meaty confetti using her mind.

I'd be fine with you having a Ogryn that would definitely be perfeclty find. Go ahead and give him a heavy bolter if you want too. A ogryn can handle it.
