Amy looked st Ariel with tears falling down her face as she looked at her. "I always thought of you as a strong person especially about protecting Master philip where as for me I have no clue when I will finally break." Amy said to her for Amy had no courage to trust anyone or for anyone to love her for she feared if her family found out they would try to scam them for all the money he had and have things only end in a painful divorce. "I may not know you past but you are not afraid of falling in love where I do not want to risk things." She said to Ariel as she sat there looking at Ariel as she rushed into the bathroom to get her medicine.

Amy only sat there not knowing what to do now or if things would even get better. While she was thinking she had no clue her parents found out who she was working for and was planning an ultamite scam to bank rupt the guy she worked for to live out their golden years and leave all the blame on their bastered of a daughter. The best part for them is that once they get the money they will be long long gone scot free lesving their daughter to pick up the peices like she has always done.

Brushing away her own tears with the sleeve of her maid uniform, Ariel finally found the medicine and hurried back to Amy in no time. "Here it is! Sorry you had to wait so long for it...I'll apply it for you." Taking the cap off, the bottle revealed a clear jelly-like substance that had a pungent, almost bitter aroma to it. "This will sting a bit," she warned, before taking some in her hand and applying it gently into the scratches and wounds on Amy's arm.

For a second, the two remained just like that in silence before Ariel spoke again. "I'm sorry if I've caused any trouble for you," she mumbled out. "I'm sorry for...I just felt like apologizing for my own uselessness. Just remember one thing Amy....Phillip's family...well altogether they're very kind people but....that kindness can be forsaken. Amy? Never take them for granted....they have power and wealth to do a vast majority of things....always remember."

Little did either girl know that Phillip heard every word around the corner, unseen bu either of them.

Amy looked at Ariel as she talked and placed the stuff on her wounds. "It does not sting that much I suffered through worst." She said to her as she listened to her about Philips family. "That is why I do not want Philip to know about this so I don't feel like I am getting special treatment or anything else." Amy said to her as she sighed a little as she sat there. "Its my parents that worry me they seem to find ways to figure out what I am doing and my bank accounts if they find out. i work here they will deffinetly try to scam them or try to convince me to do it though I would never do it." She explained to Ariel as she sat there and finished her up and she got up. "Thanks Ariel for listening me and helping out my arm." She said to her as she looked at Ariel and and cleaned her face up.

"We better get down and make. master Philips lunch and we have been up here for a while so he must be getting worried or antsy." She said to Ariel as she went to the door to open so she could go down and make Lunch up for everyone and get everything else taken care of. she rubbed her eyes a little as she walked out of the room.

"Right..." Ariel put away the medicine before following Amy back down to the dining area. "Just remember," she whispered. "Phillip's family is extremely powerful. If your parents try anything at all, it won't end well for them. Phillip's family are the type of people who...don't forgive easily." She shuddered only slightly at the thought of it and of her past before entering the kitchen alongside Amy. Master Phillip sat at the table, doing nothing but staring at his hands blankly. He gave them each a tiny nod before going back to his solitude of silence.

"Maybe they need a little punishment for what they have done in my honest oppinion." Amy said as they went to the kitchen got things ready for lunch but noticed that Philp was acting weird. "Master Philip are you alright you do not look well?" She asked wondering what he still akward about the accidental kiss they had in the pantry for she does feel bad about that for she knew it was an accident. Though she wished it meant something even though she was scared of love still because of her family. "Anything other special you want to eat with your burgar?" She asked him as she got the meat and started forming the patties in her hands after she washed them.

Back in another place her parents had started working on thier scam with Philips parents first to see how much they can get from them but also making it bad for Amy by making her be the person to suggest them to Philips parents when Really Amy had zero contact with her parents. They made them thing they were a buisness that wanted them to invest into to help jump start them so they could get going but when really they were going to get a lot of the money that they can from them in hopes to retaire with millions of dollars and leave their daughter for the blame.

Amy finished making the burgars that had bacon, spices, even some pinapple in it along with some cheese in it for she liked doing that. Once she finsihed she placed the burgurs on the grill on got it cooking.

Phillip said nothing as Amy and Ariel prepared the very last of the burgers, fixing up a fresh batch for the three of them to eat. The table was rather quiet on this day. Ariel mostly kept to herself, flashing small smiles towards Phillip and Amy to try and lift up the mood around the kitchen. Neither seemed willing to talk at all. At least, not until Phillip finally broke the silence and stared right at Amy.

"Hey Amy...when were you planning on telling me about your arm?" His voice was casual but serious.

Amy did not mind working in silence but she did find it weird that Philip was silent. She just worked on cooking the food and cooked up some stuff to go with the burgers. Once she was done she put the stuff on the table with Ariels help. When she sat down to eat and took a few bites she froze when he asked about her arm and she looked at him. "How.....how do you know about my arm?" She said shocked at him for she did not want him to know anything about it at all. She did not want any special treatments or anything at all she mainly just wanted to work. She soon stood up. "Excuse me." She said real fast and ran out of there and into her room breathing heavy as she gripped her arm that Ariel helped put medicine for her. "How....how did he find out I did not want him to know I do not want to take advantage of his kindness or anything." She sad for she learned to earn her stuff not always try to gets people help since she learned that was not going to happen from what she learned from her own parents. She was freaking out like crazy and she was trembling bad and wanted to cut her arm again but was trying not to do it but it was tempting.

"Amy, wait!"

Phillip bolted out of his seat and left both Ariel and his still half-eaten burger in the kitchen. Realizing the sudden brashness of his actions, he back-tracked to the hallway to peek in the kitchen entrance.

"Ariel, just stay there, alright? I gotta talk to Amy."

The dark-haired maid sighed softly, so soft that Phillip didn't register it, before nodding her head. Getting her approval, Phillip raced over to the servant's quarters before barging into the room, only to see Amy clenching her arm protectively.

Guessing what she was thinking to do, he said, "Amy, just calm down. No one is going to hurt you, and nothing will be solved if you keep shoving me away. Please...let me help you."

Amy sat in her room trembling badly as she held her arm that she had cut before Philip found out about it. She looked at the door to see Philip there and wished he did not followed. She already felt bad about this kiss and now this. Amy listened to him as a few tears escaped down her face as she griped her arm more. "But I did not want you to know I did not want to be a burden or worst I just did not want to take advantage of you Ariel told me you are sweet and nice and I did not want to take advantage of it at all now like my parents would do." Amy said to him as she sat on her bed. "I have lived a life where my parents took advantage of anything to live the lives they wanted while I grew up trying to earn my life by getting a job and working most of my life once I was at working age but to only have it taken away by my parents." Amy said and rolled up the other sleeve that had scars like her other arm with the bandage on it. "So much stress and angry I had to do something to keep me sane." She said to him as she rolled her sleeve back down.

"I did not want you to worry or anything and I was doing fine but something made me do it again something that brought back painful memories." Amy said not saying it was Ariel at all. "I also did not want you to think I was to unstable and fire me I am is much debt because of my parents I really need this job and knowing them if they know I am working for you they will find away to scam you and your family." Amy explained to him.

Phillip's gaze darkened when Amy mentioned a potential plot to scam his family. "I...don't think that will happen Amy. Ever. I don't know if Ariel told you all this already but my family...they aren't people you should mess with. At the very most...your parents might be dead right now if they're lucky." His voice held no emotion, instead being a cold but serious tone. The haunting look he gave her was proof enough that even he feared what his family would do to those foolish enough to undermine them.

Shaking away the negativity, he smiled warmly at Amy suddenly. "Sorry if I scared you or anything. But Amy, you gotta understand something; you have to let people in to help you out, at least once in a while. I know you've had a tough life, but you don't have to worry about that anymore. You never have to again." Reaching over, he placed a firm hand on the servant's shoulder and looked at her with intense passion and devotion.

"Not even a maid can do everything by herself...please Amy...I want to help you."

"Philip they do not care they are idiots my parents will take that risk and somehow blame me their own flesh and blood just to get them off their backs." Amy said freaking out badly for she was always scared of life now thanks to her parents. "And I am afraid to let people in for I am afraid they will get hurt because of me....I once at friends and a boyfriend but one day I tried to talk to them they basically shunned my and my ex told me how all their accounts in their families were gone and I learned my parents found out who the people were that I was hanging out with and stole their information." She said to him. "So I swore I stay away from people isolate myself and just engross my life into work even if it means I can't have a normal healthy relationship or a family of my own in fear my parents will just strike again." Amy said as more tears fell down her face.

Amy looked at him with sad eyes for she wanted to let people she really did but fear mainly took over. "I want to let people in so badly but I do not want to let what happen to me in the past happen again." She explained to him. "I am just so scared right now so scared that things will one day just get only worst."

"They did what?"

Phillip gripped his knuckles tightly until he saw them white over at the palms. "You're wrong," he muttered darkly. "You don't have to be afraid...not anymore. Your parents are going to die Amy. Either that or they'll be brutally tortured...why do you have to feel scared? You don't have to!"

He reached over and gripped Amy's shoulders suddenly, his hands trembling with fury. "They'll kill them," he said blankly. "My family will catch them and they will do all sorts of unpleasant things...look what they did to me!" His breathing beginning to escalate, Phillip pointed to his eye-patch.

"Look at it! Look at it! Your parents...don't know what the hell they're dealing with Amy!"

Amy was trmebling in fear at how Philip was acting for she never seen him this though then agian she had only been here for a few days but she noticed that he was worst then her. She was scared at how he was acting but at the same time shegot worried for he was acting like her when she got weird and it was hard to stop sometimes. All she wanted was for the pain to end for her and him, shen then all of a sudden hugged him tight wanting him to stop as tears fell. "Please stop talking about it especailly what happen to your eye you are here now." Amy said as more tears fell from crying. "I am sorry I am a weak person who is afraid most of my life not knowing if I was going to make it to the next day sometimes." She said to him not letting got at all of him wanting him to calm down and relax and started to think she should not be in this place anymore.

Amy had her face burried in his chest for she did not want him to see how pathetic her face looked at the moment with her crying a lot now. "You truly are stronger then me for you try to get out ther and interact with people while I try to stay in the shadows hiding from the world filled with nothing by fear that I would be abandon or my parents would so something to do nothing but cause me trouble." She said to him and stayed how she was for awhile before finally realizing she was getting his shirt wet and over stepping her boundries and let go of him

"I am sorry I do not know what came over me." She said as she pulled away trying to hide her tear stained and red face from all her crying.

"No...No don't go..."

Phillip's voice was raspy and weak, and he reached out to tug onto the sleeve of Amy's maid uniform. He didn't know why...but he felt safe around her. Safe and warm and comfortable...he could finally release the pent up emotions from so long ago with her around. "Amy, please...I know it must have been hard for you...and me...but I don't want you to go. I don't want..."

Amy looked at him when he tugged on her sleeve all of a sudden. She had never seen or heard him like this since she had been here. When he said he did not want her to go it felt weird for she was used to people saying leave or get out of their sight. So it felt nice to hear that he did not want her to leave at all she she looked at him tried to clean her face with her sleeve. "Alright then I won't go." Amy said to him as she looked at him. She started to think that maybe it was ok to be around him in hopes to break out of her shell at least little by little. "But you do need to leave my room for a minute I want to take off my ripped uniform and put on a new one." She said going to her closet and opened it to only reveal maid outfits only different set of clothes she had was her pjs that were shorts, and a tank top. She grabbed one of her new uniforms and went to the bathroom. "You can wait on the bed I will be out in a minute." She said as she went in and took off her uniform and was wondering if she could fix this somehow but will figure it out later and put on her new uniform and walked back out. "There that should be better." She said to him as she walked up to him.

Back with her parents they were busy perfecting their scam still wanting to get all the details taken care off so they would be ready so they will not suspect a thing but when its to late they will be long gone where they could not touch them.

"Alright." Phillip did as he was told, sitting on the bed and waiting. The thought of losing Amy so easily...it bothered him greatly. The fact that her own parents wanted a death wish just to make her feel even more miserable got his blood boiling, and he frowned when Amy arrived to him again. "They'll pay," he said lowly to himself.

Amy walked out and looked at him and was wondering what he was talking about when he said 'They'll pay' but she let is slide. She sat next to him on the bed as she looked at him. "You hungry still I am sure your food is still down there or I can make something different." She said to him and placed her hand on his hand giving it a gentle squeeze letting him know she was there and will always will be. "I can also make something sweet for you like cookies, brownies, cakes, cakes pops, lemon squares, and other types of sweets and if you like you can help me make them like you did with the Pizza." She said to him with a small smile on her face for she wanted to see him smile that was why she tried suggesting things. "Of if there is something you want us to do we can do it if you like." Amy explained to him as she held his hand and gave him a small peck on his cheek hopping he would not freak out to much or anything. "Also Philip if you have anything you want to talk about anything at all I am more then willing to listen and be there for you for I wish someone did that for me so I want to be there at least in some way." Amy held his hand a little tighter for it was weird she was trained to keep her distance and show respect and that stuff she was doing would be against maid rules.

Amy then got up and pulled something out of her bag, it was her scrape book of her growing up the only personal item she owned. "This book is the last thing I personally own its a scrap book filled with pictures of me some how of he growing up before my parents took Scamming as a job instead of actually working for a living." She said and looked at it. "Life may of been hard back then to today but you are right I should not have to be afraid anymore but it might take time and a lot of help think you can help me stop being afraid of life."

Phillip did not immediately react when Amy lightly kissed him, though his cheeks did flush scarlet immensely. "Your scrap book....you must have been through alot, huh?" Suddenly self-conscious of the thing, he turned to make sure the door was closed behind them and that the two were properly alone. Satisfied about his surroundings, he took a deep breath before looking up into Amy's eyes.

"Amy...I....well, you see, this eye-patch...this is a symbol of my family's power. I mean, s-sorry if this all sounds so sudden! But well, you offered to listen to me, so I just...well..." He clasped his hands together and sighed deeply, not really wanting to relieve certain memories. And yet....

"When I was about five years old...my left eye was ripped out by my father."

Amy looked at him and about what he said about her scrapbook. "This book only cotains the good memories I posses and wanted to keep it what has helped me get through everyday that seems to get ahrd or is just hard to move forwards." She explained to him as she put her book down before watching him get up and closed the door and walked up to her looking through her eyes and it did make her feel weird but she tried not to let it show for she knew what Philip was going to tell her was important. But she looked shocked at what he said about his father ripping his eye out at the age five and in her head that was horrible.

"Your father did that?" Amy asked still in shocked for even though her father was not always there for her he never harmed her or anything. "How can a father rip out a five year olds eye like that it makes no sense to me I mean sure five year olds are a pain sometimes but they are kids who do not know any better." She said to him for she felt bad for him to have to go through that for most of her injuries where done to herself she never been harmed by other.

"Heh, age doesn't matter in the business world. If someone disobeys, you punish them. If someone steps out of line, you make them regret it. That's what my father taught me anyway." Phillip closed his good remaining eye while gently touching his eye-patch. "That's why I mean it when I say your parents won't get away with their scam Amy. My father...he won't kill them. He'll make them wish they were killed. He'll torture them over and over again...taking my eye was the least of my worries."

"I...I asked him why he was so cold. When I was five I mean...heh, I guess he didn't like where I was going with the conversation, cause then he started yelling at me....and then he took the knife and...and..." Phillip's voice trailed off as he stared at the wall blankly, that same look on his face from the night before.
