It's entirely possible to write an open-ended action in past tense. As long as you only describe what your character is doing, and not its effect, which you leave up to the player on the receiving end. That's what the "no autohitting" rule is all about.

But you could get interupted and if you write thats what you're doing you just sit there still doing that while getting ones ass beat.

No so like you say im going to charge in with my lance and if he gets close enough do a sheild but.

because you worded it as were going to you could still change your action to a block unlike using present tense.

EDIT: Just so you understand what i am asking, my idea was that, for every universe in the multiverse, there is a Kyzan, with at least 1 child. Some of them will be good, some will be eccentric, some will be downright evil, but then again, you may meet one that is morally ambiguous, doing the wrong thing for the right reasons, or doing just as much harm as good.

However, there is 1 main Kyzan, which is the character i threw up, who is one of the only ones that has a Dimension Gun.

Quick question. Earlier you said that Zygard members would receive a text, instructing them to help out on Museum island. What about characters from worlds where cellphones don't exist? Are they given one,or are they sent the message through different means?

Zyguard members all have a device that allows for communication and transportation, called an MPS.

Essentially all Zyguard Members are equipped with the MPSes, which also function like cellphones.
