That would be interesting. just a side note, I'm not really a fan of the term POC because it sounds like a very simplistic blanket term for other ethnics and some can get offended by being lumped together into one group. I prefer the term diversity or multi-ethnic.

Though you can see this happening with DC since they have an Israeli woman playing Wonder Woman and rumors that Jason Mamoa and Dwayne Johnson will play Aquaman and Shazam respectively. I also heard the rumor that Flash would be Hispanic, so diversity in the Justice League Dark movie isn't out of the question.

Thanks to Facebook pages, I will never go on Tumblr because a lot crazy and idotic stuff is said on that site and pages on Facebook post about it constantly, and I already get enough of that on Facebook.

Wonder Woman makes since, I mean come on, how can a woman who comes from an island in the Mediterranean sea have an American accent? The same can go for Aquaman and Shazam, especially since Dwayne Johnson was Hercules in a movie this summer and Captain Marvel is inspired off of Greek mythology.

does it feel like DC is trying to do things very different from Marvel? I mean most of Marvel's main heroes are not very diverse unless you include aliens as being diverse.

It really does. They're pushing the grittier, more realistic superhero movies while Marvel is going with the more comedic, more fantasy driven superheroes.

I wouldn't call it fantasy since most of the Marvel movies are sci fi. Also DC is doing Shazam and Justice League dark so I think DC will beat Marvel to introducing magic, I wouldn't call the DC cinematic universe gritty, it's realistic in how people react to the fantastical

Yog, I do feel that DC is trying to be different in that manner. Because yeah Marvel's heroes are pretty monochromatic in the MCU but if all the casting rumors are true DC is going the exact opposite direction which I applaud really.

They confirmed Cyborg to be in and having Steel or Black Lightning show up eventually would be a treat. I wouldn't be surprised if they got John Stewart or Simon Baz to be the movie Lantern and had Ryan Choi or Rhonda Pineda to be the Atom (minus the whole traitor thing with Rhonda). I wouldn't even be surprised if they changed the appearance of other characters like Hawkman and Hawkgirl despite their traditional portrayals. J'onn is commonly portrayed as a black man in human form too.

Krein, Which is interesting considering Marvel is generally considered the more "grounded" of the two in the comics.

The only problem with DC's 'avengers' is that they'll have to have the same magic that Marvel has had with their recent movies, because its not batman, not as many people will recognize it.

Guys, I'm just holding out for a Question miniseries based on the O'Neil run. Throw in Lady Shiva, Richard Dragon, Ted Kord's Blue Beetle, maybe Tobias Whale as a villain (he doesn't have any real strong ones of his own, so we need to borrow some). I'd watch this so hard.

I actually really want Hal Jordan to be Green Lantern in the cinematic universe, John is but Hal has the best characterization out all of the earth green lanterns. In my opinion they should use all of them at some point in the film series

I say who cares if it's a good story then so what? I feel like people who complain about continuity change are just annoyed because they can't spout out facts to sound smart, a good story is a good story. I'm just saying you're missing out on some really awesome stories if you don't read the comics. Green lantern is so much cooler and better written in comics than he is in other media

I do hope that DC'll stick to the whole grittiness thing. We already have our fun and goofy flicks, so DC is better off doing something else anyway. I just hope that the whole Superman v Batman thing'll be a good movie. I'm one of those elitists who doesn't go see a film until it has 80% on Rotten Tomatoes and stayed that way for a week and if I'm being honest, I really want to see this one.

Yay for a Deadpool movie! Cable & Deadpool's the only series I've read completely, so those guys have a special place in my heart.

Subject change! My puppy hasn't eaten more than one fourth of his meals today and practically refuses to go outside. It's probably nothing since he's a picky eater and it's just cold outside. Still worried, though.

I just realized how friggin' important it is for me to know exactly where every single person in the room is. One chick at the door, presumably behind her, Bishop's in the front sitting at the table(what type of table is it?) with mooks behind him. What corner is Villa? Exactly how close are Locust and Belladonna, are they behind our guys, left or right side? Are there any carpets around?

Its hard to say if they work or not, since her head is mostly a sphere, which makes facial proportions weird.

also not sure what kinda eye socket design I want for her as well, any suggestions?

I've personally always liked just drawing the lower lip and forgetting about the upper lip completely or vice versa when those sphere faces, but that's me talking about regular drawings or some such. Don't know how it'd work in a 3-D space. No idea about the eyes though. Just... go with a generic look that'll fit Lights personality?

I'm kind of running out of stuff to draw, so if anyone wants a quickie drawing of their character, do tell. I'll see what I can do. I'm drawing sleeping Pokemon, I'm that bored right now. :D

EDIT: I forgot to mention. X-Files/Transformers crossover comic series exists. It is official. My mind hurts and keeps exploding, but I think I like it.
