Irena layed half asleep in the royal chambers, she rubbed at her eyes they had fallen asleep after some mischief they were so in love

Steffan layed amongst the sheets of the royal bed, the prone and bare body of his wife in his arms. After weeks of being apart, he made sure to give mutual pleasure during the bedding.

"Do you know what I was thinking...on my way back from the Badlands?"

Isaiah nodded satisfied with her answer and followed after as the carriage passed by. He was amused by the comment she made about the sweet tarts but couldn't exactly place why. "I know what you mean, I don't really think I could find a word to describe it myself" He let out a small laugh. "Let us not tell the cooks though, they get jealous."

Irena smiled up at him cozying up to him "what, love" ahe said putting her chin on hos neck

"Oh of course not." Lorelai laughed. "I love them, I do, but the ones in the market are just....it's different." She looked around. The village had a completely different feel from the castle. So much livelier. "Everything out here is different." She dropped a few silver pieces in a poor beggars hat and he gave her a toothless smile. Lorelai smiled back. It was moments like this that her innocence shown through. For all she knew that man would rob her later but she still gave him what she could from the bottom of her heart. No one really recognized her as being the princess since she seldom left the castle, but she did look like a noble at least, if one were to appraise her fine garments.

"That when I return, I would speak to you about having a child..." Steffan said softly as he caressed her fine blonde scalp "I think its tge riggt time tk have sons and dauggter, whose children would later secure my dynasty into this Kingdom."

Isaiah held back a smile at watching the princess gift the beggar some silver. He had thought his heart had hardened to such acts long ago but she had a way of reawkaening such things in him. To see such innocence in her truly reminded him that was much more than swinging a sword. Out of the corner of his eye he picked out a grimy man reaching into his breast pocket as he watched him and Lorelai approach. Isaiah casually placed his hand on the grip of his sword and gave a stern look at the would-be thief who promptly walked off upon noticing the knight's glare. Isaiah gave a satisfied smile and took his hand off the weapon as he walked behind the princess. "It is certainly more lively out here than in the castle. Sometimes a bit too much."

"True, but I like it. It's refreshing." When they reached the small baker stall there was a portly man taking bread from a stove and woman putting jelly into jars. A girl only a few years younger than Lorelai was in front to take orders. "Hello and welcome. What can I get for you?"

"A few raspberry tarts for me. Isiah would you like anything?" She said as she pulled out her purse, counting out a few coins as pay.

The girl, who was thin and freckle face looked up at him. "We have a number of things from tarts to simple loaves."

Isaiah removed a pouch of coins from inside of his shirt and placed it in front of the girl. "I'll have a dozen sweet rolls." A very well kept secret about Isaiah was his almost child-like love of sweet rolls. Ever since he had eaten one after being found all those years ago he had been obsessed with them. Sometimes he had eaten them in place of entire meals, and had concocted plans to steal them from the kitchen that would put even the most master thieves to shame. Buying a dozen for one person might've seemed odd to someone else, but he'd probably be done with them all in about ten to fifteen minutes. Even now he struggled to hide the glee he was feeling. "Um please?" he said in a weak attempt to remain formal.

The girl nodded, taking his money and pulling the buns out the pantry and putting them in a basket. Lorelai on the other hand was a mess.

The poor girl was doubled over on the ground, clutching onto her stomach with one hand as the other covered her mouth. A giggle here and a snort there indicated that she was fine, simple shocked at the stoic knight's food of preference. She wobbled to a stand, still snorting a bit, her cheeks a bright and rosy red and a smile pulling her mouth up. "S-sweet bu-huhhahahhehhe...kekeke?" Lorelai could barely speak as she wiggled and giggled. She almost stumbled in the way of a messenger but she gasped out an "excuse me" before wobbling back over to Isiah. It seemed that his food of choice absolutely tickled her.

Isaiah hid his face and looked down to the ground with embarrassment. Lorelai's reaction was drawing much unwanted attention that only furthered his embarrassment. If anyone put two and two together and recognized him and word got back to the castle, his reputation was definitely going to take a hit. He slowly took the basket from the girl and muttered a thank you, before going behind the princess like a scared child behind his mother, so that he could hide from the world. Needless to say he wasn't really doing anything to help the situation. "Its not that funny."

"Yes...keke...of course." Lorelai snorted. "Forgive me, I forgot myself." She said as she pushed back some flyaway strands of hair. "Where should we go next, Isiah?"

"Preferably somewhere that isn't here." Isaiah sighed with embarrassment. before eying the basket in his hand and despite himself couldn't help but bite into one of the pastries He couldn't help himself. Once he was finished he was instantly in high-spirits and his embarrassment was almost gone. "Um,wherever you wish to go. Just say where and I will follow."

Lorelai stifled another giggle. "Fair enough." She took a few steps, thinking of where to go. She wasn't quite ready to go back to the castle since the day wasn't late yet. Then she had an idea. "Let's go to the festival grounds." Festivals were always some of Lorelai's favorite things and they were times when she could leave the castle with ease and even walk around a little. When they weren't in use they had pavilions, gazebos, bleachers and other sectioned off areas for different events and stalls. Since no festivals were happening, it was a bit of a park, a place for people to simply sit around, so long as they weren't making trouble. "Can we?"

Irena looks up at him a bit confused "... A child?" She asked her heart thudding in her cheat audibly she peeks into his eyes and saw truth and lust. "After the dragon is gone.. then yes i think it'd be perfect timing as well" she said and nearly drooled

"He WILL be gone Irena, alongside this terrible curse..." Steffan reassured her as his embrace tightened around her body, as if he wished to protect her within his love "All this tine I was gone, thinking about my personal glory while you battled against a curse. Never again I will allow such thing to happen my beloved."

Irena curled closer to her king she felt his warmth and just wanted to melt into his touch "Maybe we... Should visit the witch?" the words spilled out of her like a child taddling on her siblings. She hesitated and looked down at the floor feeling a bit foolish What could he get out of the witch, that she couldnt herself? she frowned and looked back up at his sweet face and sighed

"We should...and I shall force her to lift the curse." he said as he placed a soft kiss on her lips "She will not rest easy within her cell while you are tortured by guilt."
