"I see you as you are..." Steffan replied coldly "As the evil witch that cursed the woman I love. Did you expect something else?"

Irena sighed "Can we go now?" she said hating that they both were dragging it out she tapped her foot and watched as the gaurde walked over to the witch "Ican speed up the process" he said in a deep voice that chilled irena to the bone. he took out his rather thick whip and slashed it across the witches face and she fell to the ground, she didnt make a sound, as if only pushed her backwords. She blocked her face and head and sat back up "It will work, wait untill the full moon and see if i lie, i wont" she screamed the last two words and that made irena jump.

Lorelai looked up a bit. "No, I'm not upset. I just...I just don't see myself as a woman. Not really an adult. I have no responsibilities like you or Irena. I don't do or know much when it comes to adult things either. My tutor has made it quite apparent that politics of the kingdoms is lost on me." She sat up a bit straighter and shrugged. "I just can't tell that I've grown up. I still do the same things I've done for years now. Isn't growing up and being an adult all about having change?"

Isaiah leaned back and looked up at the sky again. "There are many ways to change in order to grow up. They said I was grown after I killed my first man." He stood up from his seat and placed his hand on the handle of his sword. "Sometimes growing up is about having change forced upon you but I believe growing up is not accepting these changes but choosing them for ourselves. I became a knight not because I was forced too but I because I wanted to." He looked down to her with a serious look, one part the knight but the other part as her friend. "You are a princess, Lorelai, if you seek change you must find it for yourself."

"Seek out...my own change." Lorelai said to herself. Her hand brushed the hilt of her sabre, making it clack against the bench. Just what kind of change did she want? She loved her friends and family but staying in the castle day after day was driving her mad. Lorelai wanted to travel and see the world. To fight. But could she do it? She could barely stomach the sight of raw pig stomach in the kitchen. Killing an animal, much less a person, was unthinkable.

But what good was she as some man's wife? She couldn't cook and she wasn't intelligent. Lorelai knew she had a knack as saying the wrong things when it came to important meetings so she stopped attending. As a wife, all she was good for was knitting and baring children. True, a married life and a child is something she wanted but if one of the king's confidantes ever convinced her brother to marry her off, she'd be miserable. Lorelai had to find her own path, because she knew she wasn't a princess here. She was a guest and the last the she ever wanted was to rot in her chamber or in the bed of some man she didn't even love.

"You're right, Isiah." She smiled a bit. "Then again, you usually are." She laughed softly. "I will find my own way. My own change and when I do, you will be the first to know."

Isaiah laughed. "I like to think i have my moments." He gave Lorelai a small bow. "You honor me. If you ever require my help you know that all have you to do is ask and I shall do whatever it is you require of me. As your knight...and as your friend, I am honor-bound to help you find your way. Don't ever forget that."

Lorelai smiled softly. "I doubt that I could." She looked up to see that noon had passed. "Perhaps we should head back." she said and stood up, brushing crumbs from her lap and dust from her rear.

Isaiah gave a satisfied grin. "I'm glad then." He looked to her and stepped closer again. "We probably should." He thought back to his earlier mood. Now that he thought about it he was acting like a spoiled child, punishing Irenia for something that hadn't even been her fault. It still hurt. It would hurt for a time, but he was knight and he had sworn an oath much more important his own feelings and one that was definitely more important than some tantrum. " I do have a promise I should keep. A knight without his word is worse than dirt after all ."

For a moment, Lorelai was confused until she remembered the morning's drama. "Oh, right. Irena's lessons. You plan to teach her after all?" She said, walking towards the exit of the fair grounds.

Irena was annoyed with steffan he had ignored her and so she turned to the gaurd whom was twice the size of her maybe even giant sized..."Please escort me to my room, i shall wait there for the king" she said and the gaurd happily grabbed the queens arm and accidentally dragged her up the stairs with a dull gleem in his eyes. Irena scoffled as he basicly dragged her through the castle "OH, uh wheres your room again?" he asked scratching his bald head. the queen struggled out of his grip and glared at him "I shall find it on my own thank you" she said a bit too harshly, the gaurd came up behind her and grabbed her upper arm like a child. "NO. I'll HELP YOU" he roughly at her and forcefully dragged her along beside him "Arrrgh! Unhand me you fiend!!" she shouted but no reply, was all the soldiers off duty or something? as she was dragged his grip became tighter. "ISIAH!!" She bellowed whitch earned her a slap to her behind "NO yelling in my ear" he said and still he dragged her forward like she was a ragdoll.

Isaiah nodded as he followed. "Yes. You were right when you said it was best not to avoid it." He gave an amused smirk to Lorelai. "I told you I have my moments, luckily for me I have you for the rest of the time." He joked as they exited the fairgrounds and made way to the castle. As soon as he could see the gates, he couldn't help but get a bad feeling as if something was wrong.

"Then you best never leave me behind." Lorelai said when the reached the castle. "I have to tend to my garden, so I'll see you later." She waved and walked to her garden.

"Wouldn't dream off it milady." Isaiah said as Lorelai walked to her garden. Taking a quick breath to psyche himself up he entered the castle looking for the queen. The castle was surprisingly quiet right now, he saw the occasional servant and guard but nowhere near as many as he would expect now that Steffan had returned. He stopped one of his guard to question him on her whereabouts. "Have you seen the Queen, is she with the King?" The guard thought about but could remember when he last saw her and told Isaiah this. He thanked the man and began searching himself. "She couldn't have gotten that far."

Isaiah kept walking through the hallway searching for Irenia. no matter who he asked no one had seen the Queen since earlier in the morning. He was just about to give up the search and wait for to come to him, when he heard the one thing he never wanted to hear: her screaming in terror. Without a second thought he was all ready running in the direction of the sound, blade already drawn. Cursing himself for letting her be alone, and angry that someone had caused her to cry out the way she did.He pushed past a few servants but he didn't care Irenia's safety was his only concern. He was already angry, but seeing the Giant man dragging her along almost made him go berserk. "Unhand her!!" .

Irena thought Well.. i should have stayed with the king... the mans grip tightened as she heard isiah from behind them, the beastly gaurd turned to face him with a sign of confusion mixed with anger "I wont! Im helping her!" he roared and stopmed his foot as a child that didnt want to give up a toy. Irena's hand felt numb from the pain she looked at isiah and she took a dagger from her boot and stabbed the gaurd, With no effect really he just swatted at her again throwing her over his shoulder. "Help" was all she said in a pittiful voice, as the man un shethed a sword and was determined to fight off isiah.

Isaiah whole face went cold as soon as the giant threw her over his shoulder like a cheap doll. His eyes began to glow an ominous red and his bloodlust was once again starting to overtake him just as it had with the thieves, but this time he was aware. During the attack he fought to keep Irenia and Lorelai safe but at least he knew they weren't in immediate danger then, but actually seeing his queen in danger right before his eyes had caused something dormant within him to break free.

"You know you could disarm him, wound him? His size matters not to your skill. But I can tell that isn't what you want is it? You want to see him scream as he drowns in a pool of his own blood for laying a hand on your queen." The voice was back again and it laughed menacingly as Isaiah gave himself willingly to its influence. "Let us feast Isaiah!!"

And just like that he snapped, He charged forward like a mad beast and slashed the man right through his side before he could even bring up his sword. It was killing blow for most men but a monster of his size would shrug it off. Good, he didn't want this to end too early. The blow had succeeded in causing him to drop Irenia however who he caught with his free arm and held before putting distance them and the man. "Are you alright milady?" He asked with frightened concern.

Irena nearly screamed as she fell, but she was caught in soft arms she looked up into isiah's eyes and noticed his deep concern...well he was her main protector, or wait was the king... Anyways her eyes watery as if she was about to cry but she held it in "I..I..He.." was all she could mutter befor the giant took a swipe at isiah, missing but cutting him on the same arm as the already hurt shoulder. The giant had a whip on his belt loop his hand resting on it "Leave her ALONE!" he shouted and snapped the whip at isiah as if he were tamming a lion.

Isaiah growled angrily as the blood poured from the new and old wounds on his left arm. Still he held Irenia to him now turning his attention to soon to be very dead guard. He almost wanted to laugh as he yelled at Isaiah to leave her alone. There would be no laughing however only a very very painful death for this beast. "My queen I have always been yours to command and I have never asked anything of you, but today I must change that." He placed her down behind him before his blood red eyes went back to the guard. "I must ask that you close your eyes, I don't want you to see what I'm about to do."

Just like last time the wound didn't hurt, it didn't even register in his mind at all, instead his mind was filled with unbridled rage and the image of his queen in distress. "Disorderly conduct with the Queen is grounds for a flogging..." He stepped closer to the man slowly. "Threatening the queen is a lifetime sentence in the dungeon." He stopped to stare at the man who tried to lash him with his whip which through some strange occurrence Isaiah's arm snapped up and caught effortlessly with his left hand. "Laying your filthy hands on my queen is punishable by death!!" He yanked the guard forward by the whip and lunged his blade finding his way into the guard's stomach, he dragged it through and yanked free the blade and still the giant stood albeit bloody and in pain.

"He still stands! Glorious!

Isaiah paid no attention to the voice, he merely kept striking wildly at the guard leaving shallow cuts all across his chest and arms. The giant tried to defend himself with his sword but Isaiah's strike were far too fast for him to block. He was like a madman toying with his victim the way he was leaving only shallow cuts so the man felt the most pain possible before dying. He seemed to grow even madder that the giant had still remained standing despite his punishment. "Know your place! You bow in the presence of a queen!!" And just like that the guard was minus his right arm and left leg, the strikes that took them too fast to even see. With no left leg he tumbled on the weight of his remaining right one into a sick bowing position. Even in this position Isaiah didn't fully stand over the man. "Apologize to her majesty! Let your last words have some meaning you wretched dog!"

Irena did as he instucted and peeped out a few times only to watch Isiah dominate the giant easily, She crawled to a safer looking spot on the ground and brung her knees to her chest. The giant let out a heart wrenching whine as his arm and leg flew off, he fell to his knee and looked at the now sobbing queen with a hint of remorse "I..." he croked out in pain, "..Tryed.." he said with a sharp intake of breath as he saw the queen stand with trembbling legs in the furthest corner. "To... help her.." he managed to say as blood spilled from his wounds and mouth. The queen soon was tucked behind isiah, as if the giant was to jump up and attack... But he didnt, he just layed there the giant looked at the queen and spat blood at her, although her dress had his blood already seeped into it, that made her rage "Isiah" she said in a dark voice that sent shivers down her own spine "Finish him" she commanded through gritted teeth.
