-Soren- Any useful measure that does apply?
<Snipped quote by Webmaster>
-Ruby- Okay then. I'll tell you when we're ready for you.
Not particularly.

*looks around, and something cathes my eye, a particular rock formation*
Hmm.. Judging by the patterns of wear on that rock, its most likely not natural, perhaps not a rock at all. Ma'at, perhaps you could help with this?
<Snipped quote by Armed Forces>
*Moves some wires to the side*
Power source?
<Snipped quote by souleaterfan320>
Not happening, friend. I don't have tabs on every unit deployed on the planet at all times, and what you might gather from that is that a practical answer to that question is unfeasible. We have thousands of soldiers on the planet, and exponentially more in orbit and in space around the planet.
<Snipped quote by Armed Forces>
Harlock: if it is that big, then the rest of the EDB should be on their way right now. Most of them are occupied with cleaning up the mess Trinity left.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>
Fission battery, located somewhere behind the projection barrel.
*Behid the barrel, a metal rectangular object is connected to many of the wires, as well as small, clear tubing that directly connects it with the barrel*

We don't want them here. They should not involve themselves with any IA military ops.
<Snipped quote by souleaterfan320>
Help with...? You're not giving me any specifics here. And you can't expect me to do a bunch of calculations and inexplicably come up with what sort of a thing that object is. That's not how it works. Also, I don't see how you can deduce by the patterns of a wear that the rock is unnatural. They could just indicate extremely unusual wind patterns. In fact, right now I'm simulating exactly how that would play out over a number of years.

*Grins and gives a thumbs-up*
And I hate both of them!

Efficiency and safety out the window, I guess.
*Starts taking apart and opening up the battery*
<Snipped quote by Techspert>
Harlock: what's so wrong with the EDB?
<Snipped quote by Armed Forces>
Harlock: if I am involved, then so are they, by default. They'll more than likely just prevent anything from entering or leaving this planet that isn't part of The Group.

<Snipped quote by Techspert>
I'll be outside, just in case you screw something up.
*Goes outside*
<Snipped quote by souleaterfan320>
Nothing, until they try to come and help and end up dying in a battle that isn't theirs to fight. Then they'll be dead EDB, and dead anything isn't particularly useful.
<Snipped quote by Armed Forces>
I'm a bloody engineer.
*Strips the wires as well and takes everything apart without negating any function, resulting in almost all failsafe precautions gone*

Better safe than sorry.
*Stands at the door*
I won't have a reason to go back inside regardless of what happens, anyways.
<Snipped quote by Armed Forces>
Harlock: you highly underestimate the power of the EDB. Regardless, they have no choice. I'm here, I'm part of the group, I'll protect the group, and so will the some 2,000,000 troops in the fleet that is approximately 300 miles above the planet's atmosphere right now. This isn't about who live or who dies. It's about who comes out alive. Anyways, only about 20,000 of them are actually people, as we see droids as a better fit. Expendable.
*cocks the pistol*
<Snipped quote by souleaterfan320>
I'm not estimating. Your troops are caused harm in conventional battle, whereas Alliance units are not. We watch the EDB, just as we watch all other known military entities. When it comes to combat efficiency, the IA has no equal.
