Of course. My goal is a Doctorate, and most of what I strive for is aimed toward getting that, even though the Rapture will likely happen before I'm even in University. :[

Possibly. And I looked into it, and I can get a doctorate in seven years of college.

The rapture. It's when Jesus will return to take his church out of the world. Every person who has confessed Jesus as savior and believes in their hearts that God raised him from the dead will be caught up together to meet him in the air, and taken immediately to heaven, while this world goes into a period of ultimate trouble and turmoil for seven years, called the Great Tribulation, and at the end, anyone who has not accepted God will be cast into the lake of fire, while the rest will experience a period of a thousand years where Jesus will rule over the Earth. On the New Earth, there will be no evil, but it's not just us standing around singing. The Bible says that we'll still be doing tasks that we have today, as long as no evil is involved, because just living for God glorifies him, and we'll be progressing and happy forever.

Now the real question is: Are you going to be going, or will you be left behind?
Extra said
That's a question that will have to be answered when the time comes. Now isn't the time.
Etcetera said
It's a simple question. If you died right now, where would you go?
Extra said
I believe that I would go to heaven.

Have you accepted Jesus as savior? Do you believe that God raised him from the dead?
