John was still watching the T.V. when he heard Irene question about their ability to leave Chester's Mill. "That's right. There's an invisible wall keeping us here. We were right by the edge of town when it happened. At the gas station. We felt this shake but you can't see anything. It looks like you could just keep walking on," he said. He wasn't sure what was going on. Maybe this dome or wall or whatever it was, was real. He hadn't touched it but he had felt the shake. On the other hand, how could it be? Giant fishbowls don't just fall out of the sky and encase a small town.

Irene heard what John had to say, and it made her even more nervous. So they were stuck in this invisible wall thing forever? What if she has to travel or something! No fair, she was going to have a vacation at Korea. Irene turned to John as she sat next to him, continuing to look up at the television. She could see John's friends making some winking faces at her, but she thought that they had something on their eyes. Irene didn't know much about relationships, well, she never had a boyfriend or a guy flirt at her. "Are you guys alright...?" She asked John's friends a little confused.

Jonathan sighed and stared at Monet, who shifted uncomfortably. This whole situation was overwhelming for her, and she questioned if it was just some sick joke. She had a gut feeling, though, that it wasn't a prank. They were really stuck. "Do you think they're gonna find a way out?" She asked her brother, who was still looking at her with a frown. He just shrugged his shoulders. Suddenly, he stood up from the table and stretched his arms.
"I'm gonna get some coffee, want some?" He asked her. She shook her head no and he walked away.
