Alright, so hello everybody. I have a vague idea I would like to try to put together, but since I am new to this site I am not sure of where it belong, so for now I'll put this here until I get proper advice.

Today I had a craving for a city builder, wondering how I could find the like of Pharaoh and Emperor in this day and age. I didn't, and that is a small tragedy for me, for I used to live off these games in my spare time, they were time consuming and awesome like that. That sadness led to this idea; Why not recreate some of these city building feel in a rp? Here is my idea so far:

This rp would start with us taking control of the head of a barbarian or rather nomadic clan that recently gathered under the rule of a stronger clan leader, who became the Chieftain of a fledgling settlement. Things are rough, but the clans, not keen on dying the following winter, persevered in their attempt to become sedentary. That is when the roleplay would start, with a wide plain and plenty of caravans and able men and women awaiting the orders of their leader.

Who we would be would not be that leader, but the esteemed chiefs acting as makeshift minsters for the new barbarian king. We would have to work together closely to make this work, both OOC and IC, for discord at this stage could mean the wiping out of the whole settlement. As with City Building games, time would be more fluid and fast paced than the one we would be used to, with each gathering of the clans taking place four times a year, at the solstices and equinoxes of each season, to be precise. I have yet to work out a way to make materials and difficulties manageable, but I wanted to first make sure that this could be of interest for anyone, and to see if anyone may want to help me create this, along with managing the result.
