Araile felt so good in the shower that she almost didn't want to get out, her hair felt cleaner than it had in days, she closed her eyes and let the steam envelope her and she sighed. If only life were this simple every day, she was jealous of the women she saw out in the streets, nursing babies or yelling at rowdy kids. They were married, normal, and had kids. What kind of life did this modern age hold for a dragon shape shifter? Would it be anywhere near normal? It probably could be if she could breath easy without worrying that Foiend would show up. She got out, and toweled off and then looked around for her clothes. She hadn't brought them in, she wrapped the towel around herself and let out a nervous giggle. She then opened the door and walked out into the room, she saw Darrken get up when he heard the door, and he came over to her telling her the Remes was asleep on the bed, she smiled and nodded and what he did next really caught her off guard. He kissed her. She couldn't remember the last time someone had actually been tender with her. She could remember lots of times that they were rough, and mean about what they did to her. She shut her eyes and kissed him back, then pulled away and looked at him. "Thank you...its been a while since someone...showed me any compassion." This made her more fearful for the future and what would happen should Foiend ever find them, she felt something in her heart growing the more time she spent around Darrken. She would go on a murderous rampage if anything ever did happen to him, and millions would suffer for it.
