So, about 3-4 months ago, I was in a 1x1 RP that my partner had started. The plot was essentially about those with magic fighting against demons, but my partner controlled 4 or 5 different characters (not all at once) while I controlled a "main character" of sorts that interacted with the secondary characters they controlled. The idea was that I was the main character, discovering magic and learning how to use it while interacting with these secondary characters, developing friendships and even romances with them, while also moving along with the plot.
I'm not looking to restart this RP, instead I want to take this concept of having one person be a "main character" while the other controls multiple secondary characters to interact with the main character within an RP. Of course we'd both control non-important NPC's and the occasional antagonists, but the main idea is that one of us would be the "main character" while the other has control of several secondary characters.
Anyways, as the title says, I don't have any solidified ideas, and I want to work with my partner to set up the RP.
First, some rules:
1. Posting. I prefer PM's for 1x1's, and I find myself to be of a High casual+ level rp-er, meaning no less than 3+ paragraphs per post on average. Also, post at least once every 2-3 days. If you can't do this, don't bother reading past this, as it won't work for us. Also, if you have to leave for awhile, tell me. If you just stop posting to me, I'm gonna assume you dropped and gave up.
2. Be committed.
3. OOC stuff. I expect to talk with you somewhat regularly to help develop the RP and also to just interact with you and get to know you somewhat.
4. Be nice, simple.
So, I'm laying this out here right now, I'd rather be the "main character" role as this RP I was doing before was pretty much cut short within a few weeks of it starting, so I never really got my fix for this. However, I'm willing to fill out the other role of several secondary characters.
Finally, back to the point of having no idea. So, with no idea, we have to make up a plot, setting, and everything from scratch, or we could use the basic plot description of my previous RP as a start to build something. But I'm willing to really set up with any setting/style of RP'ing, except historical. I'm terrible with history so I just avoid it.
