Location: Somewhere in the northern Swedium woods

Nervously you kick your legs back and forth. Today is a big day for many reasons. It's your first time ever riding a horse carriage, it's your first day at school and you've never been this far from home before. But it's also the most exciting day for the same reasons. The driver whistles a cheery melody while he steers the carriage on small paths between pine and fern trees. The driver turns around to face you.

-"Looks like we're here lad."

You ride into a clearing and in front of you it is: Lauzurus magical school for gifted children. First you are filled with excitement to witness the oh so famous school, but you can't help feeling that the dull two leveled building doesn't make much of an impression. The carriage stops a bit away from the main entrance where the driver helps you to unload your bags. You aren't alone to begin the new school year though. There is a big group of other students who are anxiously waiting to be received, everyone with their own bags.

-"You are on your own now lad, take care will you?" You simply nod at the driver in response.

Slowly you approach the large group of children to join them since you don't really know what will happen next.
What do you do while you wait?

A) Stay put until something happens.
B) Start socializing with the other children.
C) Try to find someone to help you get started, maybe a teacher?

A) Stay put until something happens.

Ansel scanned the sea of children and shuffled his feet. He wasn't really the social type... Or at least he didn't like initiating conversation. He felt it wasn't his duty and normally wouldn't talk to anyone unless they talked to him, unless he asked a question, it would usually open a conversation. When that happened, he didn't really mind. He just knew he was happy to be here, though quite nervous. Looking around, he didn't see anyone he might've known, though what are the odds of that ever happening?

His gaze shifted towards the smallish building. There had to be more to it, right? Ansel squeezed his way through the various body masses, big and small, to try and make his way towards the front, trying not to accidentally get shoved along the way. Upon arrival in the front, he happened to step on another boy's foot, rather harshly since the boy yelled. "Ow!!"

"Sorry," Ansel nonchalantly said before returning his attentions towards the building, looking around for any approaching figures. He was excellent at concealing his excitement and anticipation.

Location: Outside Lauzurus school

You wait for a few more moments before you spot an old grey bearded man walking up to the group. He's wearing a red robe with orange patches all over it. The robe almost seems as worn as the man who is wearing it. He shuffles forward in his sandals until he is in front of the group.

-"Welcome apprentices to Lauzurus school for gifted children!" He spoke with a shaky voice. "I for one am very happy to see so many new pupils wanting to take on the wonderful craft of magic. My name is Jan and I'm in charge of taking care of all the new pupils here at the academy. If you would be so kind and follow me I'll show you to your cottages."
Ted and you pick up your things and start following Jan with the rest of the group. You follow a wider path through the woods until you reach another clearing.

It looks like someone sprinkled cottages all over the places, they are so many. It might get hard to find your way here. You think while walking through the labyrinth of houses. You stop at a larger open space where Jan picks up book hanging from his belt. He quickly flips through it until he reached the page he wanted.

-"I'll be giving you your keys now. You'll get over here when I call your name. Boys will be getting the blue keys and girls will be getting the red. You are not allowed to switch keys with each other or sleep at another person’s house. Disobeying the rules will be met with punishment."

He then proceeds to call out names of various boys and girls who walk up and get theirs keys. Everyone looks fascinating at Jan who seemingly creates keys from thin air.

-"Ansel Chaisty, Ted Rahlus, James Brightshield and Auron Zecane."

You walk up to Jan alongside your new roommates.

-"Your cottage will be 81 Blue." all four of you get a copy of the blue key.

When everyone had received their keys Jan closed his book and looked up with a smile on his face.

-"Feel free to do whatever you want for the rest of the day. I recommend you make yourself at home at your new cottages. I'll wake you up early tomorrow morning so make sure you are well rested. Have a pleasant evening!" Jan walked past everyone and back to the school without even leaving any instructions on where you are supposed to find you new homes.

Together with your new roommates you search for your house, eventually finding it at right end of the little village. Ted walks up on the porch and tries his key. With a creek the door opens and the inside is revealed. The room is pretty simple; four beds are lined against walls, every bed with its own nightstand. Under the beds is room for your bags and there is also a potty there. A round table with chairs is placed in the middle of the room and there is a corner for cooking. Lastly there is an empty shelf, probably meant for school books. You and your roommates pack up in silence. When you are done making yourself at home you look out of the window seeing that there are a few more hours until bed time. What do you want to do? (Open choice)

Ansel would stare out the window, quite bored as he listened to his new roommates settle into their bunks. He wondered if there was anything fun to do here, like a place where you could simply let go? But if such place were to exist, well, he could only assume plenty of kids were already there, and wasn't looking forward to being packed in with a bunch of noisy, sweaty people.

Turning around, he scanned the room, eyes landing on each boy. They seemed to mind their own business, which was good. But it still wouldn't hurt to at least KNOW them, right? "I'm going to go check out the village. You guys are welcome to join me," he spoke eloquently as he waited for a response whilst walking towards the door, slipping his key into his pocket before opening the door.

Location: Cottage 81 blue

-"Sure, I'll join you." The smaller boy hops down off his bed and walk up to you. He looks a bit younger than you and still carry a childish look. "I'm Ted, you must be Ansel."
-"Correct." You answer bluntly. You and Ted walk casually around the many cottages. After a while Ted breaks the silence.
-"Do you hear that?" You listen carefully. It sounds like someone is playing a violin.
-"Yeah, sounds like music." You follow the sound. As you get closer you can hear several other instruments. Drums, flutes, guitarrs. When you find the source of all the music you see a band playing. The band is made up of mixed younger and older students. What do you want to do?

A) Stay awhile and listen.
B) Continue exploring.
