Is it possible to make a civ with only negative traits in this RP?

For instance making a civilization of racist isolationists that are afraid of the seas and sky, rather hiding from the world in some rocky crags who however have ambitious generals who go on military expeditions that usually end in spectacular failure.

Mine isn't necessarily all negative traits, but it is primarily defensive on the ground side, and primarily power-at-range with heavy ships, and just too-fast-to-get-hit with smaller ships. Less focused on armor, more on speed.

Essentially a we'll-hold-till-air-support-comes-then-hold-some-more.

On the subject of technology:

Why are we again starting at the logical end of the technological time line for this RP, with biplanes going to be made in the RP...

The OP repeatedly mentions muskets, so we are going to be around 1850 at the latest, with professional armies using more advanced weapons and older armies using muskets, disregarding the aircraft (which regardless of where we place ourselves unless its in the 20th century, are pretty out of place (Especially considering the RP has a "King of the Air" trait which suggests they have been around for a long time). Surely we should start the airships as made out of a weaker material, or wood or have little armour, and develop it over time too? Not start the game with flying fortresses and begin to launch Biplanes off them...

People have biplanes and I'm just sat here with my line infantry and man-o-wars.

Apologies for not being online earlier...I have been very busy recently. To clear up the technological debate (Because I have been fairly lax on that simply because I am not sure HOW steampunky I want this, I apologise for that) I am going to set a very simple standard...it is mid-colonial. So we are talking muskets etc. and sail power. With the beginnings of early steam steam engines in industry and transport etc. There is no ironclads, no bolt action rifles (Which is where I think this misunderstanding started because I wasnt clear.) and airships are very basic cloth and wood, Dreadnought is simply a large Airship with that name and some guns. Other advances are going to be discoveries. There are no fighters, no flying fortresses and no tanks. (In know people haven't mentioned tanks)

In regards to accepting more I am still waiting for someone to PM me about joining the waiting list. We do have one space now with KaabanSaal dropping out.
