[OOC] Destiny: Solar Eclipse

Hello everyone and thank you for taking a look at my Destiny RP. As the introduction says, this RP is about a fallen base that has been built in a very short amount of time. It is quite close to the outskirts of the city and must be investigated then ultimately destroyed. The mission must be handled very carefully but the outcome could be catastrophic. As we all know, things do not always go the way they are planed. I plan to have this RP extend far away from the comfort of the city and into the solar system. The fallen are just the beginning, I would say more but I do not want to toss out to many spoilers.

You can pick secondary skills to go along with your character as well. I will use my character Andromedai as an example, she knows advanced first-aid as well as demolitions.

Feel free to use a picture to represent what your character looks like. (Along side describing what he or she looks like in your post.)

I only have a couple of rules that I am very sure all of you already know.

Personality: Frost is soft spoken. He often likes to think through situations and enjoys quieter things in life. This is contrasting with the mindset of most Titans, who are stalwart warriors who often throw all their strength into a problem. Despite his name, Frost is not cold. He would gladly lay down his life for his friends and comrads. He died once for humanity, he can do it again.

Bio: When a Guardian is resurrected, it's hard to say when and where they came from. Waking up in a world where the last of your kind are held up in the last city on earth, where a once great empire of humanity that stretched the stars reduced to almost nothing, could be extremely jarring to most people. Then again, if you didn't remember who you once were, it could also soften the blow.

When he was resurrected by his Ghost, Frost knew very little about the world. The Traveler was the one that gave him his life again, even if he didn't know what that life was, so he pledged himself to it and the cause of the Guardians.

Frost became enamored with trying to find out about the world of old. He wanted to know exactly what the Darkness had taken from humanity, but more importantly he wanted to know who he had been. The mystery plagued him to no end, and it drove him to study the grimoires that the Tower kept and to mine any kind of data on other planets that he could. As a result, Frost learned a great deal about ancient human civilization, including a great deal about a human poet. The man's work piqued Frost's interest, so much to the point where he took the man's name as his own. Before, Frost's identity was just a guardian, a defender of the light, but now was something else.

Tamara Riley

Race: Human

Class: Hunter

Bio: Tamara was born in the great golden age. She beheld grand space elevators, grand arcologies and a thousand other marvels with her own two eyes. Unfortunately, that isn't to imply she understands how they work. One may know how to operate a car, or that a stasis field is generated via a Kedrian field coil but the basics principles for such things are beyond her. After all, a person of the twentieth century may know how to build a car but without knowing how to create steel, process oil into gasoline and a hundred other details all that knowledge is useless.

One thing Tamara is good with that translates into the modern age is her ability to handle computers. It's just a shame that her ghost, or rather any ghost, being an artificial intelligence derived from an alien god like entity, can accomplish a lifetime's worth of programming in a few moments.

Tamara first awakened in the recent age when a ghost found her. She'd been lying for a hundred years, her skeleton protected from the elements by the materials of her car, when her ghost found her. She remembers racing for the Cosmodrome, invading aliens buzzing through the skies in their starships, dropping from clawed appendages and killing all that they could. Tamara remembers the one that landed on her hood, and promptly emptied her skull with a bolt of superheated plasma. Her ghost tried putting it all back but her memories are fractured and incomplete. Not everything could be salvaged her ghost claimed but given the fact she was not alone in the car where she awakened she sometimes wonders if that is actually true, if her ghost obliging omitted restoring many aspects of who she was.

Bio: Exo's were created during the Golden Age before the darkness struck and nearly eradicated humanity and the light. How they were made and why they were made though is a mystery, one that perhaps shall never be known but that does not stop the Exo called Legion-1313, Legion for short. He wants to learn who he was before the end of the Golden Age and what he was made for, and what exactly is he. He feels he is more then just a mere machine, that there is more to meet the eye with not just him, but for all Exo's and he'll do anything to find out the truth, and no one will stop him. It's his pace or the highway.

Since he has been re awoken by his own Ghost in the arctic, he has done his duty as a Guardian, working most of the time solo, as to not have anyone slow him down in his pursuits and goals. He carries a handcannon called Thorn and a shotgun. He usually never spends long inside the Tower, only long enough to collect and get new bounties, missions, and identify few items with the Tryarch. His comings and goings are usually sporadic. If there is one place he can be found though it is within the Crucible, a place to hone the skills of the guardians against other guardians. He enjoys the thrill of combat and showing that a hunter, though perhaps not as heavily armored as a Titan, can be just as deadly or even more then an armored tank.

Sorry I have not posted in a couple days, things have been very stressful and busy here.

Class: Hunter (Gunslinger)

Bio: Funny how the world works, Spectre doesn’t really remember much from his old life, before he became a guardian just that he flew a ship. Maybe it was after the golden age, maybe he went out and rescued others or perhaps he’s a golden age smuggler, it doesn’t matter to him now. What matters is the city, not how he ended up in a Martian shipyard. However skilled he may be under fire or in the cockpit, his emotions often get the best of him. He’s been caught multiple times sneaking out of the tower with food from the wilds that he brings down to children in the city. Without his helmet the smile on his face is almost permanent, as is his good natured joking, his red hair often falls in his face, yet he refuses to cut it. His armor is all Vanguard dustwalker issue his main weapon however, that he won in a game of dice against Cayde-6 (Albeit with loaded dice) is the Last Word. He is often seen around the tower waiting for scouting missions from Cayde or being scolded by the Speaker.
