Roxy stumbled as she landed on the floor of the gym. She hadn't gotten her animal companion. She had gotten close. She hoped that she would get another chance. She stood to her feet and looked around. Atleast no one had seen her crash.

Alastair appeared behind Roxy as she was tripping, when she went to look around to see if anyone noticed he walked to her side, "You okay there?" He asked with a smile with his wolf beside him. He knew Roxy didn't care much for him but he was hoping this would lighten up the tension atleast.

Roxy jumped at the soft question. She glared at Alstair. "Why are you lurking around?" She said ignoring his question. She was embarrassed that he had seen her stumble. She knew that her parents would have hated to know that anyone had seen her in her moment of weakness. She was suppose to be perfect.

He said putting his hand behind his head and smiling.

"My mother is dead, and my father understands that no one is perfect, you don't know who my parents are do you Roxy?" Alastair asked grabbing her hand and looking at it.

Parax was at library when he heard the bell for dinner. Closing the heavy tome he was holding at the moment the set down and headed towards the cafeteria.

"Your lucky that his is ok with you being less then perfect." Roxy called after him. "It is nearly impossible to be perfect." She kicked the wall. Damn it she sucked with people. She knew it had to do with her limited amount of interact with others.

"All I'm saying is no one is perfect so don't stress your self alright?" He said walking over to her he snapped his fingers and a red and black rose appeared in his hands, "beauty itself is not perfect." He said taking note that a petal on the rose bore his mark. "Here this is for you." He said handing Roxy the rise.

"You might be right. There is very little in life that perfect." Roxy acknowledged taking the flower. "But that doesn't change my parents expectations." Or the punishment that she would recieve for failing to met their expectations.

"As long as you do your best I'm sure you will succeed you have great potential Roxy." Alastair said turning to leave the girl was under a lot of stress trying to meet her parents standards he felt bad for the girl.

Roxy shook her head. Potential wasn't enough. She needed to be perfect. She hurried to her room. Tomorrow was another day.

The sun rose over the school and a bell rang calling the teens to breakfast.

Alastair got out of bed and stretched, "uhhh now that's exactly what I needed." He said to himself as he threw a shirt on and walked out of his room.
