The legend goes that there was once a rider named Zeus. He was the Lightening God of races. Any race he competed in, he won. He was still human, made mistakes and got into his fair share of crashes, but people still respected him. Until one day, he didn't pass the finish line. It was the fiery explosion of the God's death that summoned The Guardian. They sped in on a scarlet bike and drove into the flames. The bike grew arms to pull out the burning god. But it was too late. Seeing the dead god, The Guardian collapsed and tilted his head back as if to scream - but made no sound. That silence was piercing.
It's been two years since the death of the Zeus. Very few attended his funeral and those that did dare not speak of it. The believe that if they do, the Guardian will stop protecting all other racers because ever since the funeral, no racer has died.
Of course, it's only a legend. Some random racer did come and pull out Zeus but is there really anything ethereal about it? Whatever, that's not the point. The point is, it's 2056 and it's scorching hot outside and you have to get going with your life. So...just who are you?

The setting is between two cities that are close to each other and both are surrounded by a desert area and it's twenty miles to the nearest city.
Racing is illegal (meaning there can be cops but let people have fun too) but the cops are lenient so long as they don't disturb people
MAKE FRIENDS BEFORE STARTING THE RP, I don't want any of this "new in town" nonsense. Talk to ppl in OOC and see if their character will be friends (or more) with yours
Not everyone has to be a racer
This is in the future so new technology like holograms and stuff is okay. Flying cars are only for the rich.
