Evangeline felt her mind going blank, then it started all over again. The fresh pain of her memories made her eyes snap shut. Pulling her dark hair back she revealed puncture marks on her neck. They were old obviously but must have hurt, they looked larger than most needle marks. The scars looked almost new. Pushing her sleeves up she showed more marks from more needles. Pulling up her shirt a bit she showed him her stomach and sides. They had gash marks, some even looked incisions, some where still healing it looked like, because they were so deep. Evangeline felt the tears coming. "I'm sorry, you just...you have to know that we aren't as safe as we are , and the people who want the book, really want that book." She looked to him, her brown and gold flecked eyes stared into his. "The book is was made by an unknown race a long time ago, they were Fae, or in your case, fairies." She sighed, "I can read their language, but only enough to get us through the book, hopefully." She sniffled, pushing her hair back to her neck, covering the marks. "There was a Doctor, who used t-." She put a hand to her side, holding herself like she was in pain. Her eyes staring off into the window now, she couldn't bare to look him in the eyes. "I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have brought you here....he might hurt you, and it'll be my fault."
