[IC] Mirrors and Dreams [LunaGrey & Jett Ryu]

To Drew it had a terrifying beauty. "I thought fairies were like Tinkerbell," he said. "Guess Disney got that wrong."

[LunaGrey]

Evangeline smiled, "Dead wrong, anyhow...these creatures created this Mirror that we are trapped in." She motioned to the things around them. "All of this is coming from your mind, everything you want, anything you want to happen, will happen. As long as it doesn't cause harm to the mirror." She sighed, "Now, the doctor, the one I spoke of is a horrible man." She flipped a few more pages until a picture of a dark figure, drawn in what looked like charcoal and some other substance that looked suspiciously like dried blood. "He looks like this, at least, inside the mirror." Evangeline felt her stomach clench as more memories came back.

"Anything..." Drew murmured. He thought of his dog, and a small, foxy dog appeared. But something was wrong: it wasn't really Goliath. "Can I think of weapons?"

[LunaGrey]

Evangeline frowned, "Not the kind we need to defeat him, even I don't know how...its in this book though, and we can try to figure it out, I just need time. If you can keep us hidden long enough, we might be able to." She smiled faintly at the sight of the creature, "Aren't you a cutie, but are you a dog or a fox?" She picked it up and petted its head, its tail going back and forth, it was happy. "What's it's name?"

"Goliath," said Drew. His voice was sad. "But even just looking at him... he's not my real friend. My real puppy."

[LunaGrey]

Evangeline smiled, kissing the fox dog on the head, "Goliath, how cute, aww. Don't be upset, I mean he may not be real, but he is yours." She held him out to him, "Look Drew, he likes you." The small fox dog licked his face. She smiled, "Just keep us-" She pointed to Goliath with her chin, " Safe and I'll try my best to get us out."

Drew pet his dog and imbued the dog with more of his memories. Something seemed to change about the dog; it became more like Goliath.

[LunaGrey]

Evangeline smiled, the two seemed so happy together. Her smile began to fade, more memories of her previous life flashed into her mind. She remembered a house, it was built more like a small manor, most likely from the American deep south. It's outside , she was dressed in a ball gown and there seemed to be a party going on, shaking her head she groaned. The memories came and went just like that. Looking at Drew she sighed, "Alright, so Drew, do you think you can hold this up until I read a bit more of the journal?"

Drew nodded, noting her pain. "Eva, are you okay?" he inquired. "We can take a break if you're hurt or sad or--"

[LunaGrey]

Evangeline shook her head and smiled at him, "I'm fine Drew, but are you feeling alright, any dizziness or nausea?" She had to be sure he could hold this up, if not they would have to rely on the book somehow to figure out how to keep themselves hidden.

[Miraboreasu]

"Not at all," said Drew, shaking his head. "I feel... good." He paused. "Can anything I imagine be used to fight this nightmare doctor of yours?"

[LunaGrey]

She grabbed a pillow and put her face into it, her eyes peering out at him over it. "I don't know just yet, but I can keep reading until I find out, also that's good, if you feel even the slightest bit different, just tell me." She, mumbled grabbing the journal with one hand, while her face was still in the pillow she began to read, "Also don't mind me, you can go do whatever you like in here, as long as you stay inside." Her eyes told him she was smiling behind the pillow.

Drew nodded and went to look outside. There were mountains floating above the ocean, with waterfalls flowing. It was startlingly beautiful. He took a moment and decided on a weapon from a video game:

Then, outside in the beautiful landscape, a dark figure, standing on the top of a mountain staring right back at Drew. Its piercing red eyes staring into him, hard. The body was sculpted muscle, it look dangerous, the entire mountain seemed to take on a eerie and dark feeling. Evangeline gasped, she could feel it too. Goliath had taken a spot under a table yelping. The figure put its hand out, saluted Drew and then was gone, just as fast as it had come. Evangeline walked over beside him, her limbs numb in fear she put a hand to the window, her eyes scanning the woods around them and the surrounding area, when he wasn't around she let out a small sigh. "Did he see you?"

Drew was shaking, suddenly afraid as well. He nodded numbly even as he held the weapon. "H-H-He did," he murmured. "He saluted me, and then disappeared." His skin was paler than usual. He was now genuinely afraid.

[LunaGrey]

Evangeline looked at him, noticing his skin going pale she put a hand to his shoulder. "Alright, calm down okay, we'll figure this out." Turning him away from the window and making him sit down. "I have to read this and you need to stay calm, okay?"

Drew nodded and began listening, keeping the rifle on his lap.

[LunaGrey]

Placing a hand on his hand she smiled at him. "As long as you can keep it up we should be fine, there is no need for that." She nodded towards the rifle on his lap.

[Miraboreasu]

"Right," he said, and set the weapon on the mantle above the fireplace.
