But If you're going to make a new thread, you might as well alter the RP a bit and make it more your style instead of a continuous of this one, since you said you're going to be dropping Vis will it be a restart or just inserting a character in his place? And let me guess you're going to stick with the co-GM by Committee thing from before?

Are we simply continuing the rp in another thread or restarting it?
If this is going to another thread, it's probably best a time skip happens to get us to the next location, and have a summary of what happened during loguetown after activity was put on hold.

Yah, I am going to stick to the co-GM committee. Overall, it is a good way to balance out interactions in the roleplay when the GM isn't here. As for VIs, I am just going to shy away from a character for it. I would prefer to not chance at me being biased though I know I could avoid any bias. As for revamping the RP, I will only do that if you guys are wanting that. I am not going to revamp the RP if everybody is oaky with it the way it is now.

Wasn't answered so I'll ask it again, what if Jabber returns? How long do you plan to hold off and wait before making it?
Because it's only been 1-2 weeks and you're already talking about replacing jabber as GM by making a new thread.

Yeah, I guess things have been very busy recently. We could wait for another couple of weeks, but if we don't hear anything from Jabber at all, I say we have this discussion again.

I'd like to apologize for my sudden unannounced leave of absence. However, my presence now doesn't equate to my resumption of role playing. I'll be taking an indefinite leave. Therefore, you may do as you will with this RP. Hopefully, something good will come out of this sudden turn of events.

So why not Dawnstar if you want to get rid of Vis to become Gm, just kill him off?

Or just turn him into an NPC, he already has a bounty set on him. (If I recall correctly)

As oscar put it, just make him into an NPC and have him appear when you feel it would be better for the story. Especially if we have a Skypeia arc.

Also, how will we all move this story along? I mean getting to the next part.

In short, are we all going to conveniently run into each other again in the next story and then the next? Or will we be split into groups (or in some peoples cases, by the crew they're in) and have different adventures elsewhere while occasionally meeting up with one of the PC groups later in the story? Like how Luffy occasionally bumped into Buggy (when he was chasing him and all) or Nami pre-joining the crew or whatever.

I just think if we all 'happen' to be involved in the same stories or whatever every time, despite being in different crews or whatever would just get rediculous. I know it'll be hard to pull off, but in One Piece you'd never see the Straw Hats always facing encountering the same people over and over.

Although not officially part of this RP as of yet, I think the idea of splitting everyone into groups would be the way to go and like what X said, each group would just have their own adventure and during some points in the story, every could meet up again. Maybe something like participating in a war such as the War of the Best at Marineford or a gathering of pirates similar to the that in Saobody Archipelago.
