[IC] Mobile Suit Gundam - Those Who Correct - Crossover

Donna heard the voice of the auxillary pilot. "I'm fine..." She responded. "I was just taking a brief rest from the fight." The camera showed how what remained of the Tallgeese was being brought back to the Sundown. "I will help in scavenging what's left." The Sandrock began walking to find any weapons or parts that can be used. She recalled how the majority of the enemy she faced used projectiles or heat-based close-combat weapons resembling tomahawks. The machine guns were a common sight, minimalist in design and had a strange round magazine and it looked the the Sandrock can use them. Some of her opponent's legs had missile pods that can be of use as well provided they are adjusted for use of Sandrock's legs. The Gundam pilot also thought that any usable heap of scrap will have to be collected for the Instructor may find some purpose for them. It was the Instructor himself that instructed how parts will have to be cannibalised sometimes to maintain her Gundam. Even the head of these one-eyed Mobile Suits will eventually find use.

Saturnalia piloted the Virtue towards the hangar of the Sundown, announcing to the bridge crew, "Ensign Saturnalia Noelle, requesting permission to dock. I'm with Captain Aker, who sent the distress signal. Ensign Grant here can vouch for me."

When she entered the hangar, she remained in her suit, ready to redeploy until all allies had returned and were accounted for.

After a quick scavenge hunt for as much supplies as they could gather from the wreckage along with recover the bodies of the fallen as quick as they could the Sundown sailed away along with it's inhabitants. Puru was the first one to get out of her suit and much to the surprise of the majority of the crew around her suit, as cramped as it was in the bay meant for Gundams and Daggers, She was no more than a little girl....with a very go lucky attitude. "YEAH WE DID IT WE DID IT! WE BEAT MEAN OLD GLEMY! HE'S SUCH A JERK I HOPE HE HITS A ROCK RUNNING AWAY!" Puru shouted merrily much to the announce and laughter of some of the crew, mostly SIGMA for the former and Beta/Alpha for the latter. She was tired but still had a lot of energy in her it seemed and what the hell was with that strange presence around her that Paul felt as his senses made him feel like she was that 'newtype' term that was being coined but not exactly like the others he had met with that sort of power. He was more than worried about her when he remembered that there was another group of people that were also here and....some missing friends that payed the ultimate price to keep them safe but that was their duty as OMNI soldiers. First of which was Graham Aker, a man that Paul himself was interested in learning about. He claimed to be a Captain for a group of Flag Fighters for the Union whatever that was. But he was as close to a normal soldier as Paul had found outside of his companion in the now wrecked Gundam X. Puru ran over to Graham as he exited from his mobile suit in it's upright mode, apparently it had a jet mode which Paul found monotonous but he couldn't talk since his suit had multiple changing packs that came with it. Puru jumped up and down in front of Graham, "I'm so glad you're OK Mr. Graham! If you got hurt I would've socked Glemy's face off with my funnels!" Puru said with a frowning face as Graham laughed,

"Not a problem Puru just glad you're fine. We may not be from the same place but I'm not going to let a bully attack a little girl like you without paying the price." Graham said with conviction as Paul turned his head and walked towards the men's changing room as Puru complained to Graham about not being a little girl. SIGMA Team watched the big armored suit enter the hanger and frowned heavily, "What the actual fuck is that thing....it looks like a heavy version of Raigo." complained one of SIGMA's members as Beta Leader walked over, "It's an Artillery suit I think the thing is too big to be anything other than a meat shield or a heavy attacker. And what about the prisoner?" Beta Leader asked as he watched a group of armored OMNI Soldiers pull out Nena whom grunted angrily and told them to watch it as they did so while two men fumbled with the purple HARO before pulling it into a sack.

After the long scrap collecting was done Donna was allowed to return to the Sundown. She was the last to enter the hangar and found most of the Mobile Suits including new ones in. There were a few emply spaces that looked new, pointing there were casualties. Once she was allocated a space she turned off the Sandrock's OS and wiped the sweat from her face before opening the hatch to leave. The Gundam pilot noticed Instructor W examining the destroyed Tallgeese and quickly climbed down the catwalk. "Naina could've been a friend." She commented on it sorrowfully. "Especially in this ship."
The Instructor shared her sympathies and even had a guess on Naina's lineage. "It's disappointing," He agreed. "I was willing to help calibrate the verniers. Unfortunately I won't be able to now."
She looked at the Mobile Suit again."What about the rest of it?" She asked.
The Instructor sighed. "They will have to be dismantled for parts." He explained. "Your Sandrock will need those parts eventually."
She remembered the lesson on cannibalising parts when necessary. She took her attention to the new Mobile Suits. There was one in a bizarre shape and dark blue, something that looked like a really slim Leo and a Gundam that looked extremely bulky with cannons. While she looked at them the Instructor went to the Sandrock to find repairs to do.

Gabriel stayed with Sigma team on route to the Sundown once they arrived Gabriel Docked the GX and exited his suit to inspect just how much damage it had sustained. It's right arm had been blown off at the Elbow, but repairable as long as the salvage teams were able to recover the rest of his arm. What was left of his shield was far beyond repair, but the metal could be used as scrap to make repairs with. And then there was minor damage caused by the enemy Zaku units. With any luck he would be able to procure a shield from the other scrap that was brought in. For the moment Grbriel's suit was still functional, but he would be forced to play a support role until he had use of both arms. "I wish I had a damn bit right now.... Those things make for great spare parts in times like this.." He thought to himself as he spoke with the mechanic who had been assigned to help him with his suit. Once they had worked out a plan for repairs Gabriel went to go change and then made his way to the debriefing area wondering how this was going to go.

"Hm oh it's you." Paul said as he was just putting on his uniform, medals and all, when he turned around and zipped up his shirt before turning back and looking at Gabriel. "So you made it out alive? I'm not sure if you saw but Naina Peacecraft was gunned down by someone named Gato. It was a quick kill the girl didn't expect that. In all fairness the girl was green and Gato sounded like a veteran especially in how it took the Sundown crew to save Sandrock from Gato." Paul said patiently and in militaristic fashion. It was in blunt casualness and was as cold as stone. "We lost some of our men today. For what? A antique mobile suit? A little girl with strange weapons? And god knows what that Nena girl and that other woman in the giant ass suit have in common." Paul said as he sat down. "Why am I telling you this I wonder Conscript Gabriel? Simple. You get where I'm coming from. And Grant, Beta Leader, and SIGMA don't have the time to listen to the rantings of their lieutenant. But good job out there I was half expecting you to be all talk. You got SIGMA out alive and I thank you for that on behalf of my commanding officer and the crew." Paul commented as he stood up.

[Arthanus]

Gabriel got himself ready and was just finishing getting changed when Paul started to speak to him. "Yep I'm still here, it will take a bit more than that to get rid of me." He said to the pilot. "As for the girl, it is a sad thing to hear. It only moves to prove the fact that Children shouldn't be given weapons of mass destruction and sent to war. No offence meant, I was one of those children so long ago. As for this Gato, if he is as experienced as you say, we should keep an eye out in the future. If we can afford it, I would suggest that our aces stick in pairs. I could see a few of the less experienced ones being picked off if faced up against a vet." Gabriel offered his advice, his tone was sympathetic about the girls death, but at the same time cold from seeing it so many times before. Loosing men is part of battle, and although we might not agree with the reasons its our job to follow orders. They were soldiers and knew the risk heading into battle, but as we move forward we carry their dreams along with us. Your men will live on through you." Gabriel said trying to help the young pilot through the loss. "I don't mind listening, better complain to me then your men. You hold influence here, and talk like that could easily effect moral. At times like this you need to stand together united and strong. If you ever need it Ill listen." he said with a grin. "Well thanks kid, I'll be sure to continue to pull my weight around here. As long as I can support and protect your men I will be doing my job" Gabriel stated after Paul's compliment, walking with the young pilot to the debriefing.

After parking the Virtue in the Hangar, Saturnalia took out a small, concealable pistol from the cockpit's emergency storage and kept it on herself. Despite having been aided by these people, until she she knew whether they were with the UN, rebels, or Celestial Being, she needed to protect her suit and herself at all costs. If necessary, she would even have to sacrifice Graham to protect Innovator secrets. Exiting the cockpit, she headed towards Graham, hoping the two of them together could make some sense out of the situation, but stopped when she saw the soldiers handling Nena Trinity.

She wanted to say something, but figured she should save it for when the crew of this ship will inevitably want to question herself on her origins. She headed towards Graham, "Captain Aker, I'm glad to see you made it back alright. I would consider ourselves fortunate that there was such a large, friendly force within range of your distress call. This girl," Saturnalia said referring to Puru, "should consider herself fortunate that you were chivalrous enough to go to her aid like that. With all due respect, captain, given our situation, you have to admit it was quite a reckless thing to do, but I guess we'll just have to deal with things as they present themselves." She saw the man who called himself 'Black Star' head into a changing room. Saturnalia didn't have a change of clothes given the unusual circumstances that brought hr here, nor did she wish to use the ship's facilities until she was certain she had a place on the ship.

"You're wrong about the girl's death being sad. It's regrettable but sad isn't the word I'd use. At the end of the day she piloted the machine and choose to take on Gato in a melee fight. I don't know who Gato is and or what his experience comes from or if he has any at all but he killed a pilot of a rather strong suit in one that looks like it's main function is artillery." Paul said sourly as he disliked being reminded about death. He'd seen it happen to people he'd known closely and he had people he needed to protect. And now he couldn't because he was stuck temporarily in bum hell nowhere. "Sad is when someone you know get's sniped from behind. Civies dying is sad. Having to leave your wife behind is another thing." Paul said as his hand unconsciously gripped tightly around his finger but he pulled it away quickly. "But at the end of the day sad is a definition I have no problems disregarding. My job as an OMNI soldier is to save as many people as I can and fight the enemies of the Earth. From what you've said is true, which I still find hard to believe, then you wouldn't know Earth. This area around here is just earth and rock I'm sure you're used to. If there's a sea or a lake nearby you may end up seeing where I'm coming from." Paul said off offhandedly having nothing much to say to the man. And it was clear that the guy wasn't going to leave him alone anytime soon. "As for my own men...they gave their lives for the ship. If it weren't for them then Jason, and the crew would be dead and we'd be stranded being protected by a little girl, an unknown, and a crazy jet fighter. Graham Aker fights in a suit that I would have thought to see in a museum somewhere in Washington. And he takes on suits meant for space combat. Granted Puru helped his ass out big time but the mere fact that he had kills in that battle shows he's capable. But how capable is another question." Paul commented as Beta Leader pushed past the two of them with a stretcher of a pilot covered in blood. It looked like he was an auxiliary and a part of his dagger had been shot and the metal lodged in his upper chest.

"Don't get any fucking funny ideas got it lady." Said another guard with a pistol and his companion next to him held an assault rifle. "We're trusting you not to make shit difficult so don't go crazy on us. We're letting you free roam of the hanger but we're assigned to move you around the ship along with your companions until Captain Jason clears you three." the officer said as he showed the girl for good measure that his safety was on. "Most people don't get this type of assurance so make it count." The officer said and moved to stand over in a corner. When she moved over to Graham, the man turned around and smiled at her, "Well Saturn I'm not one to say no to reinforcements when we were as badly outnumbered as we were. It helped that these men say the're from the same general area as us." Graham said as Puru grumbled, "Glemy just had to be a big meanie! I mean he hurt and killed people today just to try and get me back! I'm just glad that you and Mr. Aker were here to help me. If not then I'd be in big trouble." Puru beamed at Saturn but frowned when she just noticed that she had referred to her in the third person, "HEY I have a name you know! It's Elpeo Puru! Nice to meet cha!" Puru said holding out her hand in a friendly gesture.

Saturnalia was a bit taken aback by Puru's childish nature. She had heard the radio chatter, but seeing her in person was something else. "Nice to meet you too, I'm Ensign Saturnalia Noelle, but you can call me Nalia." Saturnalia looked around the hangar, absorbing as much information as she could from the environment with her heightened senses, "Although these people helped us, we are now outside of our suits, and completely surrounded. I wouldn't say they're hostile, but they don't trust us, and from what I can gather, some of them might even blame us for the casualties they sustained." She hoped that they would trust her soon, she had many demands to make, not least of which was finding an engineer to manufacture a power conduit so the Virtue could replenish it's GN particles. There was also the matter of Nena to consider.

[Arthanus]

Gabriel listened to Paul. His point about the girls death being regrettable rang true. With this particular case it seemed that the girl had chosen to pilot the machine and she wasn't forced to fight. Paul's comment about this earth being similar to Gabriel's almost made Gabriel laugh. Wherever this place was it was far to intact and nice to be confused with his own world. Gabriel quickly moved out of the way of the stretcher looking at the injured man. It was a sight he had seen many times before, but never liked seeing. After the stretcher went by Gabriel continued forward. He then attempted to alter the course of the conversation away from death and battle "So how do you think these unknowns will take the captain's choices? I can't see the artillery girl taking the conscription choice. She seems like a strong willed one." He said hoping it would change the mood going on right now.

"These guys give me the creeps and that guy who left that suit over there....he made me feel weird....I can't explain it but he reminds me of Judau...without all his goods parts." Puru said shivering as Graham chuckled, "He means us no harm unless we do something stupid. I don't know about you but the fact that he was able to stop Nalia over there from killing that other gundam girl made me understand how quick he is on that suit's controls. His fighting skills are also pretty good if what I saw is only a portion of his skill. You didn't see him fight so I'll say this Saturnalia, he fights with controlled aggression. It's as if you're fighting a berserker who can control when and how they lash out. He's precise and deadly when he needs to be but maybe I'm overselling that Black Star guy what do you think Puru." Graham asked as Puru tilted her head to the left and tapped her foot, "I don't know I was too busy fighting to notice his fighting style but he knew what he was doing. I much prefer your style though Mr. Graham! You're so fast and quick it makes me feel all tingly watching you." Puru said as Graham smiled, "Thanks Puru. Now then...I believe I have an obligation to keep. I promised my own help in your ship's military force until I can get back to my unit. I intend to keep that bargain. But I need to see your captain if you don't mind." said Graham as Puru casually hummed to herself. "About freaking time Mr. Aker." said the soldier as he and his men pulled their rifles up and held them in a non threatening manner as the man with the pistol told them to follow him, "Hey we're heading out engineers don't mess with their damn suits just yet I was given orders not to use our resources just yet." The soldier called down quickly as a young looking engineer confirmed the order and went to work on Raigo. "Follow us." The man repeated as he turned and left the hanger down to a nearby corridor.

"I take it I said something stupid then? Figures...I've never been one for small talk since....something I rather not talk about." Paul said and then changed the subject to the new inductees in their ship. "Well that bitch who nearly blew me up won't take to it if she's as hot tempered enough to blow up a girl with a bazooka." Paul commented remembering how close he had come to ruining Raigo to save that girl's ass. "That girl better not make me regret me saving her ass or I'll gun her down myself." Paul said with a cold professional tone as he turned and opened the door to find Jason already in the lowest placed barracks on the ship making sure the troopers were alright. "Sir!" Paul said as Jason nodded, "I'll be in the meeting room soon Lieutenant Paul I just want to confirm everything with the men is all.Calhone has command of the ship. We shouldn't need me at the helm at the moment. These men will check with the doctors in the wards then I'll be going with them but I shouldn't take too long. Mr. Gabriel...it's good to see you alive soldier keep up the good work. We'll use some of the materials we have from that Tallgeese machine to make some minor repairs needed for your machine." Jason said as he passed by the two men clapping Paul on the shoulder as he went by and Paul saluted the man. Once he was gone, going up the staircase leaving the elevator for the injured,

"Sorry I just wanted to make sure everyone was alright. This is the engineer's barracks but pilots stop in here to to a breather after a fight. The main barracks is on another level of the ship." Paul said as he turned down the hall and went up the stairs. "To answer your question...Graham is going to join us regardless if he is a man of his word if not he's a prisoner on here. We came here to rescue him with the promise of him aiding us. Puru will probably not care and follow Graham. She's a little girl what does a big word like conscription mean to her? But we'll probably just call her an 'ally' in other words. Not that OMNI particularly doesn't have a history of child soldiers in mobile suits. Kids seem to be able to handle getting the hang of suits more so than the older soldiers." Paul stated with slight discomfort. "That woman whoever she was....I don't know what she'll pick. My guess? She'll decline. If she's pompous enough to gun down a prisoner I nearly died capturing then she either has stuff that we shouldn't have or know...we captured a Haro maybe it has some data on it." Paul said referring to Trinity as his thoughts went on what possibly be on the Haro unit. "Or she is just a cold hearted bitch and she'll fit right in with us." Paul said with casualness that was a bit odd that he didn't care at all about either choice. "Worst case there's one more body in the ship. Best case we get a new soldier Conscript Gabriel." Paul stated.

[Stern Algorithm]

"Duly noted," Saturnalia replied to Graham's assessment's of Black Star's skill. "Still, if he had not saved Trinity, justice would have been done. The girl is a dangerous terrorist responsible for taking the lives of innocent civilians." Saturnalia followed their escorts down the hall. She couldn't place these people so she decided to ask Graham, "Only the UN Forces could have the resources to design and build a ship of this size, yet these do not seem to be UN soldiers. Still, they appear too organized to be a rogue nation or a terrorist organization. What are your thoughts on this Captain Aker? Puru?"

Donna was able to have a glance at the three pilots that were recently recruited when they are getting escorted somewhere, probably to be given the same option has her the other day. The only man was clearly a soldier as she can see but the test were doubtful, too young or just doesn't look like one. Kind of hypocritical when she hardly looks like one too thanks to being a blueblood that was unlikely to see combat in her lifetime.
The instructor took notes on the damage as he observed from the ground and activating the OS. Fortunately, these can be fixed easily with some parts from the downed enemy Mobile Suits and Tallgeese remains. The Mobile Suits remains that were collected were nothing like he's seen before but their numbers and high casualties gave him a reminder of the Leo, apparently just as fragile or worse. He will have to speak with the ship's mechanics later to discuss about how those parts will be distributed and secure needed parts. What he needs to have a look is the arm that Donna sliced off from a commander's unit, the manipulator still holding the beam saber no longer powered thanks to the severed with the reactor, apparently another Gundam look-alike that is very common for some reason.

"I'm not saying I disagree with you but what right do you have to talk about Justice? Celestial Being hasn't exactly been doing legal tenure and last time I checked that machine still has one of your fancy drive engines in it. You're probably from the same organization or at least different branches because last time I saw the AEU, and the Human Reform League didn't have tech on that level." Graham asked simply as he considered his thoughts on what exactly these people were...they weren't terrorists unless they're good enough to steal a ship this big and well armed or these were common where they came form. "I'm going to say these group of people are from a North American Military Organization that identifies itself by the name of OMNI Enforcer. They don't speak with European accents that I know of and these suits look rank and file designs much like my flag. I doubt that they're anything like your Celestial Being Organization quite frankly." Graham told her as Puru frowned and shook from left to right, "I don't know these people looks like AEUG soldiers but they're not in the suits I know that they use. It looks REALLY similar to the Argama but Captain Bright is not in charge and Judau ain't here neither is that Kamile guy either. So I suppose they aren't Zeon either because they killed Glemy's men. Otherwise I don't know sorry....I wish I could help more but I don't think these guys mean us harm if it matters to you Saturnalia-san." Puru commented as Graham looked over and shouted towards the Instructor, "Hey there what do you guys want? Like that gundam or something buddy? You don't look like one of the OMNI guys." Graham questioned him as Puru looked past Graham and didn't really introduce herself, "That man looks funny." Puru said giggling.

"Captain Aker," Saturnalia said with slight impatience, "with all due respect, for the last time, I'm not with Celestial Being. I'm part of a secret UN counter terrorism organization. I possess the Virtue because it was destroyed in battle but our team managed to reverse engineer it and salvage. My purpose as a pilot is to test the GN Drive's capabilities so that the AEU and HRL can have GN Drives of their own to combat the threat of Celestial Being." Of course, the only part of this that was true was that she was really not part of Celestial Being, which referred to the crew of the Ptolemaios and the Gundam Meisters.

However, when Puru spoke, a strange cold dread filled Saturnalia's gut, "Puru...what's...AEUG? What's Zeon?" She had heard a lot of nonsense on the radio chatter which she had mostly ignored, but now that it stared her in the face something was terribly, terribly wrong with the terminology people were using.

But Saturnalia was distracted when Graham called out to the older man.

"What are you talkin' about? Everyone knows the Principality of Zeon or well they're called the Remnants of Zeon more than often now but still. Heck you just got done fightin' them not to long ago! And what do you mean 'what is the AEUG'? The Anti Earth Union Group formed to beat those nasty Titans! But then again we are more "anti-Earth elitist" than anti-Federation government. Throughout the Gryps Conflict, the AEUG attempted to wrestle the Federation government's support away from the Titans. I'mma new member but that still doesn't mean you get to pick on me Saturnalia!" Puru said and when she realized that she wasn't paying attention to her Puru puffed her cheeks and grumbled, "You know it's not very nice to ignore people you know. Especially since we just got done fighting together. Oh Judau where are you? You wouldn't ignore me like mean ol' Nalia-san here..." Puru grumbled.

[Arthanus]

"No, you didn't say anything stupid. Just tired of talking about death." Gabriel commented not trying to offend Paul. "I am sure you know how it is, just talking about it brings back the memories of fallen friends, loved ones, and then those who's lives you have taken. The subject always leaves a bad taste in your mouth." He finished while thinking a bit. "Funny I turned out to be a soldier of war and a hand of death, Almost as if I was born to fill the roll. I mean Gabriel is the Archangel of Revelation who was sent to earth to destroy Jerusalem, Well I mean if you believe the ancient religions at least. Isn't it only fitting that I am a soldier, sent to take lives and destroy those in my path?" The old man continued almost laughing at the notion, "But that is just the ramblings of an old man, don't mind me please continue." He said before listening to what Paul thought of the new pilots they had picked up. It seemed that the Paul really disliked the girl whom Gabriel had been sent to rescue, and from the sounds of it for a good reason, but before Gabriel could give his opinion of the girl the two ran into Jason. He listened to the Captain's explanations and comments before answering, "Thank you sir, but it will take more than that to get rid of me. And I will be sure to lend your engineers all the assistance I can provide, their time would be better spent repairing and preparing your own suits, so I will see to it that my repairs are completed as quickly as possible." He said to the captain before giving him a salute and letting the captain go on his way. Then the two continued on their way to the debriefing room, on the way Gabriel listened to Paul's impressions of these new pilots. If anything Gabriel wanted to learn what he could, he already could tell that that Puru girl was A Newtype, an especially strong one for her age, and that was something Gabriel wanted to watch. As for the rest of them Gabriel stayed silent and listened to what Paul though of them and when the other pilot was finished Gabriel just gave a small smile, "Well we will have to see how this all unfolds. But what I do know is this is going to be one interesting meeting as we get another round of stories and backgrounds which most likely will not line up with our own."

As Paul finally reached the level where they were supposed to meet at he went and opened the door to the room as two older gentlemen saluted him promptly. "At ease." Paul commented to them plainly as they looked at Gabriel cautiously as they let the two of them inside. "It's good to see that you survived lieutenant sir." one of them commented as Paul grunted, "You expected anything less from the Black Star of OMNI?" Paul retorted plainly as he entered the room. "Well good to know that there are other people who know that know what to do when the battle is over." commented a voice in the room which Paul turned to and identified as SIGMA Leader, Paul still didn't know his name nor that of Beta Leader. Both of them were all to secretive of their names to be honest. Then again Grant, Leader of Alpha, was way to kind to others for his own good. Omega Squad under Paul was no better than the former two. Still better cautious then overtly at ease like Grant.

"So then why are you here don't you have men to see to?" Paul asked SIGMA who nodded his head, "They're figuring out who's going to be who from now on. With SIGMA fractured we can't have people being skipped in the number line. SIGMA runs under a number means higher up the food chain sort of line. That's why I'm SIGMA One or Leader. Then again you probably knew all of that I'm just explaining that for the benefit of the conscripted guy." SIGMA said with a chuckle as Paul sat down near the head of the table next to Jason's usual seat. "Captain Hiyan will be here shortly for now however I believe we could hear about any aces you fought Mr. Gabriel. I fought little to no aces. Grunts were the name of the game in this place it seems." Paul said patiently as SIGMA declared that he fought a strange black suit. It was clear that the man was an ace and probably was better than 'the conscript over there' in SIGMA's words.
