Klaus shrugged at Damon's comment. "You're forgetting my blood is the only cure, mate." He said, shaking his head. "Leaving Mystic Falls has made you dumber." He joked. "Okay, Rebekah and Elijah stays, all of us are going." Klaus said. "No, no. I'm not going." Davina said, standing up. "I did my part, now I want to go back home." She said, looking pleadingly at Marcel who just nodded. "Anya has enough powers to do." He said and without another word grabbed Davina up and flashed out. He just couldn't put her at harms risk, not again, and he couldn't lose her again.

"That's unfortunate." Klaus said firmly. "I know where the prison is at... I saw it." Anya said. "Good. Damon, you drive and witch girl sits up front." Klaus said, tossing Damon the keys. "Let's go on a hunt." He said in an amused tone as they all got into the car.

Just as she saw in the vision, they pulled up to the cell. "There are... werewolves everywhere, and hunters." Anya said, looking at Damon. "I can help- let me. I'm powerful, I can keep my emotions in check." She said, looking at Damon hopefully. "Let's give her a chance mate, now let's go." Klaus chimed in as he got out of the car, Anya following suite. She actually felt giddy and ready to go, she wanted to be the protector and hero for once, and not be the protected.

Cassie closed her eyes, listening to their bones crack and warp, and she sighed. She could have avoided this, but she chose not to, so if she died, she would die with some honor. But she heard ruckus outside the door and the witch lost her concentration, and Cassie felt some of her strength return, and she quickly moved out of the wsy of the first wolf.

Damon nodded. "Let's hope she is alright." He said, and in the doorway he spottes two hunters and he flashed behind them and snapped one's neck and moved as the other moved to attack him. He saw the door open, and more came out with a few wolves.

He flashed behind a wolf and it cause a hunter to be rammed into before he heard a gunshot. He felt the wood bullet in his leg, but he moved through it. "Got to be better than that." He taunted.

Cassie was moving quickly enough, dodging the wolf before she felt it's teeth sink into her andnit moved outside as the witch regained grip on her. She felt very weak and the leader came in and pulled her up, a stake at her back, and he brought her outside. "Look. They have come to watch you die." He said, but Cassie smirked.

"You made a mistake in doubting me." She said, stabbing his leg and forcing herself to move to the witch and knocking her out. She felt very little strength return, and she clambered to her feet. Damon killing a hunter behind her. "Thanks."

"I owed you one." He said, and she took up her knife and threw it, hitting one behind Klaus between the eyes. She went to move, but she fell and passed out.

Damon looked to Anya. "Anya! Can you hold off the wolves?" He asked, lifting Cassie and flashing behind Anya. "Just focus. I am going to check around to see if there are more hunters around"

He saw the leader and the witch were gone, and Damon flashed around, slamming a hunter into the building, bringing him up with him

[Heaven]

The fight broke out quick. Klaus easily broke necks and pulled the hearts out of chests of the wolves. He quickly glanced at Damon who had picked Cassie up and fighting off the wolves. Klaus finished off the wolf he was on. He watched and only saw two left, but without thinking gave Anya a look and followed Damon and Cassie. "They're gone- I'll take her and get back to the house- you take Anya somewhere safe." He said, taking Cassie's unconscious body from Damon before he got to the car and gently laid her in the backseat of the car. He slid into the passenger side, speeding down the road, weaving in and out of traffic, until he got to the manor.

When arriving, Klaus got out and opened the back door, gently taking Cassie's body and bringing her inside, laying her down upstairs in his bed. He draped a blanket over her and dimmed the light, then sat at the chair by her side waiting for her to wake.

Anya nodded as Damon told her to concentrate and use her powers to kill teh remaining wolves. She muttered a spell directing to the wolves specifically, only Davina taught her and raised her hand at them. They fell to their knees as they clutched their head, screaming in pain. She kept on until they were out. She didn't kill them, she couldn't, but she did render them unconscious.

Feeling drained, she caught herself before she fell over. She felt blood trickle down her nose and she quickly wiped it away Anya rested her head on the brick wall, regaining her energy. "Damon?" She called out, pushing herself off the wall and searching for him.

Damon finished up around the jail, and he sighed, following Anya's voice when he heard it. He saw her nose bleeding, and he put his arm around her, so she could lean as she walked. "We need to get out of here before more show up." He said, picking her up and flashing off. He didn't go back to Klaus' manor nor the hotel.

"Where do you stay? I will drop you off and find a place for myself to stay." He said, and he took her to her place before setting her down. "You did really good, just got to be careful. Over exertion can kill you."

Cassie's eyes fluttered open, but she was still in pain. Where was she now? She felt ill, and what had happened had been such a blur. She remembered being weak and in pain. And the pain in her side came back. She struggled to sit up, and she moved the blanket and lifted her shirt and saw a wolf bite

"What the hell?" She muttered and she looked to Klaus. Had he really gone and saved her? She pushed her shirt down, and laid back. "I feel so sick. 900 some odd years, and I feel sick."

She didn't know what it was like to be bit. So this was an experience for her. She lokked over to Klaus again though. "Thank you." She said. She was having a lot of trouble keeping her eyes open. She hadn't fed or anything in a while and she was sure that was making it worse.

Anya was relieved to see Damon. When he suggested they leave and go somewhere safer, she just nodded. When he picked her up, she wrapped her arms around his neck and rested her head on his chest. When he asked where she was staying, Riley told him, closing her eyes. She didn't want him to leave her, she didn't feel safe despite all these powers coursing through her system right now. She wanted Damon.

She was relieved when they reached her apartment complex. Damon set her down and she frowned. "Don't go.. please.." She said, grabbing his hand. Without thinking, Anya pulled him to her and reached up, kissing him. She his hands on each side of her face, pressing herself into the kiss. IT was.. amazing. She pulled back for air and looked up at him. "Stay with me.,... please.." She pleaded softly.

Klaus was relieved when Cassie finally woke up, but she looked awful and in a lot of pain. Klaus stood by the bed and noticed the bite mark on her side, his eyes quickly changed. "The bloody hell." He murmured. "You need my blood to heal, love." He said, his tone a lot calmer now. Klaus sat down on the bed beside her and bit into his wrist before bringing it to her mouth. "Drink, then rest." He said soothingly.

Cassie looked at Klaus when he sat beside her and offered her his wrist. She took it and drank the blood from it. She felt better nearly instantly, but she still looked to him. "Thank you again." She said, her voice soft as she swung her legs over the side of the bed and stood.

She looked to him. "I think I'm going to head home and shower and feed. Call me if you need me." She said, heading out the door and flashing to her house. When she got inside. She stripped out of her dirty, bloody clothes and hopped in a hot shower. It had made her feel a little better, and she wrapped a towel around herself and grabbed a bottle of blood and rum mix from the fridge.

She sat on her couch in her towel and drank, turning on tue tv for some noise.

Damon looked to Anya. She looked so innocent, so vulnerable, and it reminded him so much of Elena. He knew that he would never fully push her from his mind because he was constantly reminded of her. But Anya was different too. She wanted to be strong and brave all the time.

Her lips were soft. It was like velvet and when she asked him to stay, he nodded. "Alright." He told her.

After being invited in, he looked around. It was normal, but odd all at once. Perhaps he just felt weird because they haf essentially just mey and she already knew what he was.

He sat down and sighed. This was a long night.

[Heaven]

Klaus closed his eyes as she drank from him, she she was done he watched as the bite marks healed. She she thanked him, Klaus nodded and watched as she got out of bed. He was about to protest her leaving until she felt completely better, but she had already left. Sighing, he sat back in the chair and rubbed his temples. "You're falling for her, Niklaus." Klaus looked up to see Elijah standing in the doorway. "Don't be ridiculous, Elijah." The hybrid said as he stood up, stripping the blood stained sheets of his bed. "You hadn't denied it." Elijah said, not moving from his spot, his eyes watching Klaus' every mover.

Angered, Klaus stood in front of Elijah. "I am not falling for her- or anyone." He growled. He was halfway to the stairs when Elijah called his name. "Not every girl is Caroline." He said. Klaus glared back at him before flashing out of the house and heading to the bar.

Several glass of scotch later and a black-headed male to feed from, Klaus stumbled to where Cassie was staying, following her scent. He stopped outside the door and stepped back. "Cassie!" He called, almost sounded like a howl.

Anya was relieved when he agreed to stay with her. She invited him inside her apartment room and closed the door, locking it. "I'm going to shower and change, but make yourself at home." She said, smiling halfheartedly as she went into the bathroom.

After her shower, Anya slipped on a over sized t-shirt and brushed through her damp hair. She took Damon's hand and led him to the bedroom, laying down on her bed and motioning for him to lay behind her. "Have you fed today...?" She asked softly, closing her eyes. She wasn't tired, but she felt relaxed, maybe it was just because she felt safe in his arms. She felt safe around him period. "I'm sorry I was such a bitch before... I'm just not use to so many people watching over me, for the longest it's just been me and my mom." She said softly, looking up to stare into nothingness.

Anya rolled over so her face was staring straight into his. "Thank you." She said, placing her hand on top of his own.

Cassie allowed her mind to wander for a while as she watched the tv, mindlessly. The show was cute, a tv movie she guessed about two people that couldn't stand each other falling in love. She sighed a little, turning off the television and moving into her room. She pulled on some red laced underwear and bra when she heard her name. She flashed to the front door and saw Klaus before she stepped back.

"Just a second!" She called back before she quickly flashed back to her bedroom. She was going to be horrendously out of her element wearing her black sweatpants and a white t shirt, but she walked out of the house and stood before Klaus.

Her eyes studied him, desperately trying to figure out why he was here. She gave up after a while, and she turned. "You could have come in, the owners have since been dead. I was just indecent when you first came. Come, I will get you a drink."

Damon's head was spinning. Today had been a long day, and he followed Anya as she guided him. He laid with her, one of his hands playing with her hair. He looked to her. "I had some of a blood bag earlier." He said to her, his eyes travelling over the place.

He felt her hand over his, he heard her apology, everything felt weird. Almost too calm, but he would take it. "Its alright, everyone is allowed to have their days. Besides, you just found out a lot at once, I am honestly shocked your brain didn't fry."

He gave a soft chuckle and sighed, "Get some rest. I will be here."

[Heaven]

Klaus yelled her name a couple others time. People were poking their head out of the doors to see what was going on, but Klaus ignored them all. He went inside whenever Cassie came to the door. He smirked at her when she made the comment of being indecent. "I wouldn't have minded one bit." He said. He looked around her place and then back to her as she made them a drink. Taking the drink from her, he downed it in one gulp before setting the glass down on the table and sitting on the couch. "How are you feeling, love? You rushed out too quick for me to ask earlier." He asked, looking about at her.

Each time he had seen the pretty girl she had something revealing and sexy on, it a fresh to see her in comfortable clothes. "You really are protecting the witches, aren't you?" He asked as he closed his eyes and rubbed his temple slowly. "Bloody hell, I need some rest." He grumbled. He had a blood stain on his white t-shirt from his previous meal. "Ah, sorry love, I was a bit sloppy there." He said and took off the jacket, followed by his shirt, leaving him in just his dark jeans and shoes.

She nodded when he told her he had a blood bag. "That's not the same.. is it? As the real thing?" She asked. She laughed at his next comment. "Hmm, a fried brain... interesting." She said with a playful smile. She closed her eyes when he told her to get some rest. Anya snuggled closer to Damon, her head resting against his chest and her hand still in his before she fell into a deep sleep.

Anya squinted as the sun shined through. She was laying on her stomach, her hair over her face. She sat up and stretched as she yawned. Anya looked around and frowned when she didn't see Damon. Did he leave? Getting out of bed she threw on some jeans and a t-shirt before pulling her hair back and pulling on some socks. "Damon?" She called out, stepping out of her bedroom. She rubbed her eyes and went to stand by the window, looking out. It was a beautiful day, or it looked like one. The streets were already packed with people rushing to school, visit with families, to work... "Shit!" Anya exclaimed, remembering she had a shift last night. Only been there one night and now you are about to get fired... She thought miserably to herself as she sprawled out on her couch, covering her face with her arm.

Cassie looked over at Klaus. He was acting rather strange. "If you need to rest, there is plenty of room here. Your manor seems like chaos." She said, drinking her own drink before she chuckled. "I am quite alright, feeling a lot better, and if you must know, yes I am." She admitted. Her eyes looked away. If he only understood why. She shook her head, and when he apologized she waved a hand.

Then the shirt came off, and she turned, losing herself in her glass. She regained her composure and took his shirt. "I can get the stain out of this" she said, taking it over to the sink. After she poured some peroxide and vinegar on it and rubbed it, she put it in the washer with some other clothes and she sat on the couch. She looked to Klaus again. He had a good body, that wasn't hard to admit, but she moved her attwntion away and turned the tv back on.

"Why are you here, Klaus?" She finally asked him, her eyes meeting his. "Just tonight you saved my life, and now you are coming by yelling my ne as you stand at my door. Are you feeling alright, or do you need rest that badly?"

Damon stayed with Anya all night, but once morning came, he got up and he went to the market and bought a few things for Anya, after seeing she had virtually nothing in her house. When he got in, he saw her on the couch and he put a cup of coffee on the coffee table before her.

"You know you have nothing in your house right?" He asked her. He had also fed while he was out, so he was rejuvenated and was kind of in the mood for real food. "I make some good pancakes, so I hope you are hungry."

He started cooking for her, and then asked. "What's wrong? Sometging is on your mind."

[Heaven]

Klaus laughed and shook his head. "Chaos... my whole life is chaos..." He murmured. "Ah, but why? Why witches? They can bring you down in no time just with their hand." Klaus said, holding his hand up to emphasize. "Just like that." He said. He gave her a smug look when she mentioned getting the stain at. "Ah, don't worry about it- I've got plenty of them." He said, sitting back on the couch. He watched as she left to put the shirt in the washer to clean it.

He looked at the TV when she turned it on. He thought for a moment when she asked why he was there. "I'm not quite sure- I had a few drinks, had dinner, and then I'm here." He said, holding his hands up and looked around. "This is a nice place, by the way." Klaus said and laughed when she asked if her needed rest that badly. "No, I just.. I'm not even sure." He said, closing his eyes and leaning his head back. "I think I may just rest here for the night- I'll be out of your hair in the morning." He said, opening his eyes and rolling his head to look at her.

Anya's arm moved off her face and she smiled when she saw Damon. "Thank you." She said as she sat up to drink the coffee. "Hey- I usually just eat fast food, I don't cook since it's just me." Anya said, sticking her tongue out at him. She stared at him when he mentioned making pancaked.

"A vampire that cooks? I've hit the jackpot." She joked, setting the coffee down and walking over to him. She reached up and gave him a soft kiss on his lips before planting a kiss at the corner of his mouth. "I love pancakes." She said with a smile. She saw at the island and sighed when he asked her what was wrong. "Besides finding out in just a few days I'm a powerful witch, there are hunters and other creatures after me to use my powers, that vampire and werewolves exisit, and there is another powerful witch who hates my guts- nothing." She said with a smile. "Oh, well there's the fact I probably lost my job after being there one night." She said with a shrug, sipping on her coffee.

"The pancakes smell good." She complimented.

Cassie looked to Klaus when he asked her about the witches. She closed her eyes, and shook her head. "My sister." She whispered, "My sister made me a hunter, the spell made me loyal to her, and when she died, I suppose I was just so accustomed to it that I started protecting them. It doesn't much matter anymore, but there are other reasons. Hell, half the reason I am immune to vervsin is because I drink it constantly annd because of witches." She answered, and she looked to him. "They are the most dangerous and unpredictable of us creatures too."

When he continued to speak, she continued to look at him. "That's not necessary. You are welcome here for as long as you need and whenever you would like. Just always knock or call before hand, so I can be decent."

She got up, and took his hand. "Come, you can sleep in my bed since you so graciously allowed me to sleep in yours." She said, leading him to her bedroom.

Damon didn't mind the jokes or the quips. The kisses though, those were intoxicating, and if he wasn't careful, he probably wouldn't be able to control his urges. He sighed, when she mentioned her job, and then turned after flipping some pancakes. "I can take care of that. Besides, it wasn't your fault. Nothing you could do to change what happened " he assured her as he plated a few pancakes with some sausage.

Damon was a jack of trades, truly he was. "Just like I need to look at your car before much longer and it gwts towed. I may know the problem. And in this town, I want to stick close. No need in anything happening to you thay I could have controlled." He said before he heard something by the door and he opened it and noticed fluers taped to to all thw doors. Some sort of carnival would be in town the next night, and he sighed.

"I must say, this place is already less tragic than Mystic Falls."

[Heaven]

Klaus felt himself sober up slightly when she opened up to him. She was actually opening up to him. "I'm sorry, about your sister." He said, seeming sincere and genuine. "I lost a couple brothers through the tears..." He said.

"Well, thank you." He said with a smirk. Klaus chuckled when she offered him her bedroom. "Ah, well it's the gentleman thin to do." He said following her. "Besides, before inviting me to your bed, you should buy me a drink first." He said and grabbed her by the waist, turning her around to face him. He leaned down and stopped just a few inches from her lips, his eyes burning into hers, hand resting on her cheek.

"You're so beautiful, Cassandra." He said softly and leaned down, his lips meeting hers as he lost himself in the kiss.

"Take care of that?" She stared at him, her eyes wide. "You're not going to kill my boss, are you? That's a little extreme, Damon." She said, but she couldn't help it as she cracked into a smile. She took a whiff of the pancakes and her mouth began watering. Her stomach grumbled, wanting her to eat. "Thank you." Anya said as she scooted the plate closer to her. She took her fork and cut a piece of the pancake off, sticking it into her mouth. She rolled her eyes about her car. "Yes, there is that too, new windows in my car." She grumbled.

"Mhmm, this is delicious." She commented, taking a couple more bites and eating some more of her sausage. She took a sip of her coffee after finishing almost all of her food. "Well, Mr. Salvatore, you were right, you most certainly can cook." She said. She took her plate and empty coffee mug to the sink and rinsed them off, sticking them in the dishwasher. She stood up and looked at the flyer he held.

"Well, Mr. Salvatore, looks like this is telling us something- we should go together." She said with a smile. Bailey stood on her tip-toes and took his face in her hands, giving him a soft kiss. She gently bit his lower lip as she pulled back, smiling up at him.

Was this really Klaus? Was this really the man that so many years ago killed her and made her a vampire? Was this real? He had her by her waist, and he spoke before brushing his lips against her own. She found herself kissing back, but she pulled away. Beautiful. It was a word she heard so much, but when he said it... He meant it.

She looked at him, and gently pulled him onto the bed and she curled up beside him. Sleep wqs q luxury for her, one that she planned on enjoying for once. "Klaus." Her voice was soft. Something very few heard from her. She looked into his eyes. "Why did you save me tonight? You didn't have to, but you did."

She knew Anya and Damon were there, but she also knew Klaus been the one to put it together.He was the only one who knew she had been taken.

Damon chuckled. "Not kill, compel." He said to her as he sat with her, and he leaned back a bit looking qt the flyer for the carnival. Memories flooded back. He remembered the last one he had been to, Caroline had become a vampire through his blood. She killed a man.

Perhaps here, things would be different.

"Sounds good to me." He told her before looking towards a window. A nice day.

[Heaven]

Klaus followed her lead and laid behind her, wrapping his arms around her. When she asked why he saved her, he thought for a moment. "Contrary to what you mat believe, I'm actually a rather decent guy." He said. "Now, get some rest. We've got to find these bastards and take every last one of them out." Klaus said, laying his head down, and soon enough he had fallen asleep.

The next morning he had woke up before Cassie so he could go on a food run. He had found a man and woman and compelled them to follow him home. He led them inside and followed after them. "I brought breakfast." He said. Just in case she didn't drink from humans, he had a couple blood bags handy.

Anya grinned as she wrapped her arms around his waist, pulling him close to her. "Is everything alright?" She asked, turning her head up to look at him. "You seem a little.. distant." She said with a frown. "Are you hungry?" Anya asked she tilted her head and brushed her hair out of the way. "I don't mind, and I trust you." She said, closing her eyes. In truth, she wanted him to do it, she wanted to feel what it was like to be bit by a vampire, and especially if you liked that vampire.

She didn't think Damon would lose control and kill her, she knew he'd protect her. He had proved that to her.

When Cassandra awoke the next morning, her sleep had been interrupted by violent visions of the night before, memories of her past. Every reason why she couldn't reawaken herself as a hunter. It was twisted. Most hunters were awakened by their own mistakes, but Alphas had to give their consent. Something she had found out centuries earlier. She noted the absence of Klaus, and let out a long exhale. She went into the bathroom and looked herself over. No sign she had been bitten by a wolf at all, and she washed her face and pulled her hair up before she saw Klaus.

A small smile graced her face. "Breakfast? And I didn't have to leave the house? I definitely need to be hospitable to you more often." She chuckled before she traced her fingers on the neck of her victim, her eyes veining over as she fed. When she finished, she compelled the man to leave and forget what happened after patching him up and she looked to Klaus.

"Thanks, for everything. I am in your debt. If you can think of anything I can do to repay you, just ask and its yours." She said to him before she looked around. "You can stay if you'd like. I going to get dressed for the day, go to the library... try to figure some things out."

Damon looked to Anya and shook his head. "Sorry, I-" he began, but after Anya offered her blood to him, he looked her over. It was so simple, but so appreciated, and he gently kissed her neck before his fangs pierced her skin and he drank. He pulled away after a moment and wiped off her wounds before washing up and looking at her.

"Thank you." He said.

He then peaned agained the counter and smiled. "Come on, I think after the last couple of days it is time we have some fun and actually get to know each other." He said to her.

[Heaven]

Klaus chuckled at her comment of being hospitalized by him more often. "Let's not do that, unless we can skip you getting harmed, love." He told her with his signature smirk as he fed from his woman, healing her wounds and sending her on her way afterwards. Klaus thought for a moment when she asked if there was anything she could do to repay him and he smiled towards her. "There is one thing; join me for dinner tonight, wherever you want to go. The bar.. club.. park, or some concert they're having somewhere, or if you'd prefer a restaurant, if you want to feel human." He said, shrugging.

He nodded when she said she was going to the library. "There are a few things I should check on myself. Let me know if you want to do something tonight. We can forget this whole witch, werewolf, vampire mess. Just let go for one night." He said and kissed the top of her head. "Until tonight, I hope, love." He said before he walked out of her door and down to his car, getting in and driving back to the Mikaelson manor.

Anya was a little disappointed he stopped talking, but when he kissed her neck before piercing his fangs into her skin all that disappeared. She let out a soft gasp as she held onto him for support as her legs felt weak and like jello. It wasn't long he fed before pulling back and licking whatever excess blood she had left from the two small wounds. It didn't hurt, it actually felt.. peaceful. She blinked her eyes before looking over to him as he washed his hands at the kitchen sink. She nodded in agreement when he suggested they go do something fun.

"What did you have in mind, Mr. Salvatore?" She asked playfully, tilting her head to the side as she playfully twirled with her hair. Hopefully last night took care of her problem with people coming after her. She felt physically drained from all the power she used last night and she honestly didn't think she could use anymore or she'd be out for days.

Cassie watched as Klaus left, her eyes tracing his movements as he headed out. This wasn't the Klaus she remembered from any era she met up with him. He was never so... good. Almost pure feeling, and she quickly shook the thoughts away as she headed into the bathroom and began fixing herself up for the day. She selected a blue sundress with a pair of black heels. She applied her make up to enhance her eyes further, and when she curled her hair, the soft waves were hauntingly shiny.

With a sigh she headed to the library and after taking out a few books, she went and got her nails done. A beautiful black set, and after that she went about the older boutiques, and finally called Klaus. "Meet me in front of the library at seven o'clock. We'll see where the night takes us from there. It's just the point between both of our houses."

She hung up without recieving an answer and as she went about shopping, she caught sight of a flyer for a carnival coming up. Oh that would be fun. Lots of fun indeed.

Damon gave her a smll knowing smile when she asked what he had in mind. "Anything but witches and vampires and werewolves. I was honestly thinking one of those historic tours could be a good way to start. I haven't been in this area for a long time, and it would be a good way to find other activities." He told her, and he looked over to her.

"Maybe get some lunch and then go and walk over by the river, perhaps even further into the actual city of New Orleans. Just have fun." He said before he brought hr up. "So are you ready or am I going to have to wait on you?" He teased.

Klaus was studying some historic files, he needed to refresh up on New Orleans, it had been a few centuries and a lot has changed due to Marcel ruling. It wasn't long after he had left Cassie in her home that she called, asking him to meet her in front of the library. He smiled and closed up what he was doing and headed home. He needed to look appropriate, but not like he was trying too hard.

Klaus took himself a shower and decided on a pair of dark jeans, a white t-shirt, and a black jacket, his dirty blonde hair tousled and messy, but he usually kept it that way anyways. It had grown longer and it suited him better, he kept it neatly trimmed but that was about it. He left and walked to the meeting place of Cassie's choice, looking around at the scenery. New Orleans grew not only in population but with technology as well. He wasn't really sure what to think of this new era, it was alright, but certainly not anything he was use to. He reached the library before Cassie, so he took a seat on the bench and looked up at the sky, closing his eyes and relaxing until he sensed Cassie approaching.

She rolled her eyes and laughed. "Well.." She looked down at her current attire. "I would like to freshen up real quick, it won't take me long, promise." She said, disappearing into her bedroom. She was right, it took her only fifteen minutes to throw on a pair of black shorts, a light pink ruffled tank-top, white sandals, and her hair up in a pretty but loose ponytail, strands falling around her face. She brushed her teeth and didn't bother with any make-up except for a little bit of gloss.

After checking herself over, she sprayed some perfume on her and headed back out to where she left Damon, grabbing her purse. "Okay, I'm ready." She said, grinning over at him. She didn't really like dressing up, she liked to stay casual. She'd dress up to the max if she absolutely had to, but she preferred something comfortable but still stylish.

Cassandra went home after her little bit of shopping therapy and changed. She chose her signature look, as usual. Today she selected a form hugging black dress that had lace over it with three quarter sleeves and she chose strappy heels rather than her peep toes. She applied hee bright red lipstick and headed off, finding Klaus on a bench. Perhaps it was Elijah's blood coursing through her that made her dress so sharply all the time, but she had to admit thay Klaus's casual attire made him handsome.

She fiddled with her curls a moment bedore approaching him and she smiled. "Well, look at you, Klaus. Handsome in the simplest way, I envy thay." She commented before taking a seat beside him. "So, where shall we begin? It's going to be a good night for a stroll in the park, what wiyh the meteor showers they've been expecting. Or perhaps a bit of dancing or..." she cut herself off.

Was she really going out with the one who made her a vampire? The one who saved her? The one who had changed so much since their last run in back in the twenties? It was warped in a sense, but she couldn't help but be excited. No man had paid her any real attention in centuries... and even then, it ended in chaos.

Damon smiled to her. "Glad to hear it, come on, I think the next tour starts in a half an hour." He said, grabbing hold of her hand and taking her towards the group that had formed for the tour. It was a nice tour, and Damon had to admit that it had grown so different in the decades that had passed.

Once the tour ended, he led her into a hole in the wall so4t of siner, and they sat down. "What did you think of the tour?" He asked, and he ordered some bourbon for himself when the wautor came over
